Violent man,

Calm down for a minute and lets talk in a civilized manner. Are you looking for a solution or do you just want to waste our time throwing insults and abuses at each other?

If you don't want shrines to be closed fine, then lets monitor them as well to make sure they are not killing people and using their skulls for sorcery and witch craft.

How many human skulls have been discovered in shrines in Nigeria, or does killing for ritual acts excite you?
Killing for ritual acts doesn't excite me neither does killing in the name of God.

I believe the best step in the right direction is for Muslims to stand up and fight against extremist who are determined to label the religion with a bad name. . . extremism should be preached against in all Mosques and Islamic school throughout the country.
Muslims should form active groups that preach against Extremism.

The memories of Boko Haram is still fresh!

BTW: Am not a violent man as the name suggest, but whenever someone thinks killing me will give him a ticket to paradise, tht makes me nuts!

I like your post because you have tried to logically address a very difficult issue in a moderate manner.

I agree that a committee should be set up to address religious extremism in Nigeria. Separate committees, can be formed to deal with Islamic, Christian and traditional issues separately.

Example

1. All religious schools (Islamic schools and bible schools) should be duly registered and monitored to make sure there are no extreme teachings in any of them. A law should be set up to make such a punishable offence

2. All shrines in Nigeria should be closed with immediate effect

etc
Shrines? are u kidding me? Shrines don't produce terrorist, asshole. . . . Al qaeda don't recruit people from the shrines,  . . Its not as if you will ever see a "Babalawo" carrying  bomb in his pants!
Any school where the leaders are teaching kids to "kill infidels" as "Mohammed" commanded should be shut, they only end up producing more menace to the society!

Zak:
Hello guys,

How could we be so naive and short-sighted?
Why must we crucify Soludo?

Following the current global economic meltdown, remember that without Soludo's consolidation, there would be no banks left standing for Sanusi to audit.Sanusi would have inherited failed, distressed banks.Just as in America and Europe.

Like it or not,Soludo was and remains a genius. If he were still CBN Gov,he would have handled this crisis in a manner that would not put our economy at risk. How many bank workers lost their jobs during Soludo'time?
How many are out of job today courtsey of SLS?

I'm not saying that Soludo is a saint, but he remains the best thing that has happened to our economy. That's why we need him to come home and help transform our state.

The PROFESSOR had 5 offers from intl.organizations.But he turned them domn.He doesnt want to be a global economic and academic icon when his own state is in economic and political ruins.Charity they say begins at home.
So,at least we owe him our support and understanding.

In conclusion, could you pause for a second and think of what would have happened if Nigerian banks were not consolidated in 2005? If you answer this question honestly,I put it to you that you would not find the voice to insult the erudite professor again.

Thank you.
Are u kidding?

How to remove nigeria from the list is difficult.

It is a nation call nigeria that is on the list. what about we make the nation disappear. Like the yorubas, edo, delta and bayelsa join the republic of benin and the rest of nigeria change thier name to biafra.
Then there would be noone call call a nigerian.

or are they ready to pay alot of money. i cant put it online. not a crime based idea. it is just that it would cost you alot of money. my idea would cost you money to get/

How are you diffrerent from the muslim extremist yourself when everyone contrary opinion to your view is not credible and everyother idea you don't like is misinformation.
I will tell you how he is different sir, he hasn't received any clear direction from God written or otherwise to lynch people whose opinion are contrary to his in cold blood.

Obviously your hatred for moslems has not allowed you to see that not only muslim respond with terrorism. The terror war is based on ideology and not nationality. You are too dumb to understand that anyways.  Instead of implying  all muslims are terrorists maybe you should step back from your ignorance and listen to the millions of moslems that condemn terrorism.
Millions of Muslims that condemn terrorism? Have you been smoking dried pepper sir? u mean to say a fewer percentage that condemn it openly and rejoice inwardly?

Extremism is not only present in Islam, it present in christianity, and you have just demostrated that.

I have realized that you are frustrated and angry at the world. I advice you to go hang yourself and save the world of your hatred. I doubt you still have minutes left in your fifty naira ticket that you bought in cybercafe. Go borrow some more money and come spill more of your stupidity.

Or you can go to hell!!!!
Let's digress away from extremism here a little shall we? lets talk about terror. . . cold blooded murder, all perpetuated all in the name of a God that offers you 7 virgins or more and probably a comfortable apartment in paradise, children, fathers, mothers, all killed by the Muslim brothers just because according to the Quran, its the right thing to do.

And sir, its not everybody that use a cybercafe, the world has moved past that, i'd suggest you stop spilling your stupidity on everyone around, and take my advise and leave before everyone realize what an asshole you are

You are a very big foul not to realise things going around you.Forget what the US said all i know is that you have a deep hatred for muslims/northerners and you are using this medium to voice it out.
For your information 99% of Local islamic school teachers have no any knowledge about world affairs including your so-called Heaven (USA) which you cant leave without, and on the issue of birthrate its rather unfortunate that your Fathers decided to be sleeping with lots of women rather than marrying only 4 of them and hence could not keep the wasted pregnancy therefore your population could not expand like the Almajiris, but you can correct it by marrying legally instead of sleeping with your neighbor cos am very sure how you will feel if you see your 14 year old sister sleeping with you friend, you will definately wish they are married.Islamc  Schools are here to stay, but you have 2 options;-wage a war to eradicate all Muslims or OR KEEP YOUR ROTTEN MOUTH SHUT ABOUT A RELIGION YOU KNEW NOTHING AND YOU CANT DO NOTHING about.

Finally,am really disappointed in the owners of this website, did you guyz create this forum as a means of abusing and sending insults on a particular set of people or believe? I thought all we are searching is for what will unite us rather than divide us,if its true then post like Violent  should be discarded.Prove me wrong.
It's just there in the blood right? words like "wage war". . . "eradicate them" its what you think, its the way you are brought up, to "eradicate" whoever is not in agreement with you.
The schools are not here to stay, they only end up producing more terrorist and others who are not terrorist end up as stark illiterate who only end up in contributing mediocrity to the country

Grow a fckin brain cell to keep the other one company, and yes i have a deep hatred for people who will rather kill another because "their God" says it's the right thing to do

If we  don't shut down Islamic schools now, i fear for the future of Nigeria.

Take a break and forget about what US said and did not say, let's even assume that Nigeria is not on terror list, how long then do we intend to continue breeding murderers who kill in the name of religion?

Wake up fellas, the birth rate in Northern states continue to grow at an alarming rate and more and more kids are sent out to Islamic schools at an early age, where they are taught concept of "infidels" and awaiting "seven virgins" after infidels get killed.

It makes me wonder who the hunters are and who the preys are. . . while one preach love for neighbors, another preach death to infidels, and they still come out to tell us "Islam is a religion of peace". {someone ought to check up the meaning of "peace" and stop using it along with Islam}
If Christianity preaches death to infidels, i wonder who will be alive today

What annoys me more is the when people shout "Abdumutallab was radicalized in London", i ask, so what? was he not radicalized by Muslims? and the fighters of the Boko Haram that ended up killing hundreds, i bet they were radicalized in London and shipped to Nigeria too, wake up fellas, its not the location, its the damn bloody religion! angry

SHUT DOWN THE DAMN SCHOOLS AND ANYONE THAT PROTEST IT SHOULD BE SHOT!

Let's forget about US, its time to have a rethink on how long we intend to accommodate these messengers of "Peace" in Nigeria, especially in the North

All Islamic schools should be shut.

All Alfas and Mallams who teach extremism and terror should be arrested, hanged and their dead body shot angry

Schools in the North should be developed and anyone that burns down schools in protest against "western education" should be arrested and jailed till the sun turns green  angry

Sharia laws must be banned immediately, and the past governors of the nothern states who have contributed little or nothing towards development should be arrested and shot in the head angry

Any group that protest any of these laws is capable of terror and therefore each member of such groups must be arrested  angry

Bigger Prisons should be built effective immediately

Schools should be made to include motivational talks in their curriculum

Army battalions should be posted to each Northern state to monitor development
