This is good politics. Nobody Lord Tinubu when he was a state leader. Tinubu no Lord Buhari as he leads. Buhari and Tinubu will not Lord Umahi if he makes it. Am sure umahi will appreciate them for life on his own. But am sure in the end of his tenure, they would be happy to have been part of his and more importantly the societal success. Is not a thing of fear. Tinubu respects Buhari and vice versa. Of course, there would be favors involved. We all hope that the favors will not be to the detriment of the people. Is good for a wise man to learn from others and even have an experienced mentor(s). Am not part of the zoning idea. I think we need to have an open ended way of modifying choice without suppressing a group of people or even a tribe. For me, I currently support the most effective leader that has actions in deed. A leader don't have to be a state or even rep to qualify; but I think you should have some impact in the society. I believe that choosing from the current crop of state leaders is a good way to judge currently. Later, we can expand to reps and co. To be honest, I don't know what ipob can propaganda on, if we had an igbo as naija number 1 , and even more if he/she is impactful for the whole naija. Ipob whole propaganda has been the open and hidden discrimination against igbos. Which many igbos know and experience too well. But it will be an irony that the apc, Buhari, and Tinubu that most people tribally accuse, are the same party and people that wants to help you the most to get that position. And if you ask me, they found the right person to support based on merit. Other state leaders were account packing from day 1 while Umahi was busy working, impacting, and improving lives from day 1. Pdp need to improve themselves and structure. Apc cannot honestly find another effective leader like Umahi right now. If Umahi makes it off merit without much competition, don't you think the next crop of leaders will start being effective all the way down to Lg. So if everybody is on point, then you can zone with confidence and it will improve naija in the process. Then the round after that, you can expand the choice bracket to impactful citizens with the other groups. I don't think Umahi will fold his hand and not do anything more in his state until 2023. He will still be busy just like Buhari, prof. Osibanjo and other leaders. But if they all have a mutual respect and understanding, it will help for a better naija in terms of transition which will help umahi in a national way. It will make future leaders sit up. And it will be a good legacy for Buhari, prof osibanjo, Tinubu, and other party supporters. They would have raised the standard of leadership choice. All these don't say Buhari don't have an F on the economy currently. But he is slowly strengthening unity. We hope umahi don't make his early mistake of tribal cabinet choices If he makes it to that position. Maybe Buhari suspicion on people caused it, but I think the next person should learn from that and improve the unity. Pick the best persons from as many states and tribes as possible. Remember it is a collective effort. |
Chairman dun talk. One more advice: If you are not consoling with every tribe or condemning all these tribal and religious things; then stay away from it. No pity party talk. I wish umahi and hopefully zulum, the two real true leaders among the current crop of leaders, the best. Others can't show face because they were busy doing personal account uplifting. Now that many Naijans are in tune to leadership with action and results, those unfocused leaders are now playing catch up. Ahead ahead. No time. |
This one dun take lecturers style go Germany. Fg should seize 90 percent of his wealth for victims compensation. Then fire this rotten egg. |
This guy is on a revenge leadership. |
Ekelebe/cid need to jump on this matter like they should if it was anybody else. |
The chaff from the rice. Everyone don't have to go his way, but as a society we should pray that the effective and great ones from his team support him. Leadership in that caliber is not a one man job. His team were part of his and the state progress. Good luck. Remember to include a variety of Different back ground people when you get close to the primaries or main election. No one tribe affair. Preach unity and strength in unity for collective growth. |
The con artist and hateful man will |
Hermes119:I respect your opinion because those tracks you listed were good to me. I just can't go as far as labelling them as really good. Different strokes - different folks. Maybe am expecting too much. Not long ago, up until late last year, naija music was on a up trajectory, I guess I wasn't ready for what I think is a down trip now. I really thought that naija music was better than reggae and was even getting way better than hip-hop; only for them to start succumbing to them again. Our music as a whole is innovative, our beats are innovative, our diversity helps our music. And African various beats helps too. I just think the musicians need to put in more creativity and the mental toughness of a musician. There is no need to be rushing to make an American and naija song if it is not right. Many of the established musicians, are not even creating good naija songs talk less of continental collab. |
Rosskivvyy:Idi*t, may your life be run like the past and current Africa. Mountain goat like you. |
See how them dey play with electricity there. If na naija now, even silver bird dey ration which light bulb their generator fit carry; so that them go fit add some of the electronic guitar. Burna and wizkid, una luck be say una dun get hits before; because all these una new mumble and humming music no make sense. |
The most disorganized places in the world is when you go into an inch of any African country. Pity party den. |
I hear say Davido give lil baby $100k for that feature. If you are dope, him go want get percentage, then it is up to you to pay him off. The whole album is not good. Forced lines that were not thought out properly. Hook was not catchy and well made. Na humming noise na im I hear throughout. Davido and many naija artists need to get their acts right again, so that they can make good music. Burna boy album weak like pillow case. Wizkid dey hum go one side, davido dey hum go one side. Teni dun dey confuse for her music. No current good music. I no know whether corona catch the music industry cun put am for coma and ventilator. |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:Just my opinion. I don't think tinubu is intelligent enough to advance naija in an honest way. He had a chance to run Lagos (the richest state in West Africa or even Africa) and he performed way below mediocre. He focused on account packing instead of doing a correct rail system around Lagos and it's sister states and even to cotonu. Lagos could have been getting 55percent of the returns for the next 30 years. Lagos is still dirty. No massive state wide drainage system. And many more mess ups. He was so caught up on people hailing him that he thought godfatherism was the next step. He then collaborated with our current number 1 after leading fashola, people think he is Buhari boss but believe me, Buhari don't have a God father in Nigeria. Oga Buhari might be naive on education, on economy and other important things but not godfatherism. Oga Buhari might even have plans like supporting umahi, knowing that umahi might not do godfatherism but will always acknowledge him. Oga Buhari might do it in the ideology of being the one that supported the 1st president from the igbos tribe. I don't think tribe matters as much as merit in terms of who did what with what they had to work with. |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:Tinubu was a leader doing good until he alayes begin ginger him confidence, then godfatherism begin shark am. As for Peter obi, im try when he was in power but na more of an audio guy. I like some of his swagger. |
This is a progressive thinking. Toutism is not suppose to be an officially recognized system. Eye sore and brain drain. |
NNEWIsuper:Both of you are vibrating a mumu energy. There is no way that you can tell me that one of your last 5 or 6 past ancestors(starting from your parents) were not from these areas you are insulting and misrepresenting. Stop the infighting and collabo. |
Another hint I forgot to add for oga umahi is Agricultural security: To be honest, there are no spaces for serious farming. Nigeria is 200milla people, in a space like Texas. That is not a space for 200m people to live and eat of land. So the truth is to chase technology and intellect society than farming. So farming and livestock will be imported like 80% and then 20% ingrown. If we are savvy, we collabo with all the countries around signing collabo deals of 50 to 100 years with them. While using your advancement to perfect indoor farming. If it were a correct country, since they know that our condition is the card events has dealt them, they would be advanced in other areas like the machinery involved, food storage, inspections, etc. Nigeria needs to study Japan and others in this area. They have a land to people ratio problem. Not only study them forever, but decrease your own chances of failure. |
If umahi can up his visions more like knowing how to do unity politics, economics vision, and know how to envision internal and external security. He will be a great one for the ages. Hint: When you condemn ipob, condemn others. Fight for unity of all quarters. Its more dignified to loose on that platform. Economic vision: create clear business rules and stability; factor in the use of generator. Don't do borrowing practices. When you talk to the leaders of great countries, don't go telling them about our ethnic and religious divide, find a way to vibe with them so that their best experts can come and help us get a head start on electricity. Immerse yourself in electricity knowledge, so that you will understand quickly that hydro and solar are our 3rd and 4th options on our quest for electricity. Gas and others are the 1st. Security: Educational security for the populace and the officials. Ekelebe and others need a pay raise. Fingerprinting and DNA forensics are implementable practices that can happen right away even with the pitiful electricity we have, later you can do more cameras but still do some. Fight for things like this. We don't want Naf doing cid forensics. Only for them not to be aware of rescue tins. When Umahi finally enters the race of the number 1, I hope he has a broad shoulder to take the pressure and be savvy, it is not a sure bet but I can currently bet on the minimum result you can achieve. I believe say zulum go challenge you, but if una fit for the better of naija, fit collabo, it will be a win-win for a better naija and along the way, una fit turn all those money seekers wey go one cun chop national money, into dignified workers. Remember My loyalty na day to day, I no tattoo am for my mind. Behave thy self and team. Good luck baba. Good |
Oga umahi is a one man squad in terms of good actions as a leader; only zulum is close. If Apc will work for his goal, I wish him the best. We are voting for the person who we prefer his leadership, not the party. If Apc will give him a better platform, then that is a good move. |
The guy has made American democracy weak again. There is a reason they use to call the American democracy a living idea, because it was allowed the room to change for the better. This dunce has weakened it. America is now like a rich family that got tired of being in a grand home with everything they need; and now likes to live in the dirty and uncomfortable area while associating with criminals. It is sad about what America is going through at the moment; where a power hungry maniac found the opportunity with significant support. I still have hope that the institution can survive this selfish assault. |
Timely sense follow their mata. |
Ethopia needs prayers for sense against their infighting. |
Any serious lg chairman/woman would have done it with the help of the people( including you) a long time ago. They would have made it clear that it was discrimination that the fg wouldn't stand for it and penalties like withholding your LG budget could be instituted. It is a crime under Nigerian law. I can commend you like an ordinary person, because if we were civil people, a group of people from all parties could have solved that archaic belief. You just did an LGc and the state reps jobs. That is good but it is more so because they don't know their duties if it can't be transferred to their bank accounts. |
I don't know umahi's path but I hope he can make it to the top so that Nigeria can progress. The guy is not perfect or even very good, but he is miles ahead of any leader in Nigeria currently; if people can judge on merit. I hope he can continue his work in ebonyi and still contest. Good luck. |
The leaders are playing with them. |
They plan to charge it with generator. Is that one still electric. We always like to feel among but don't want to do the work that, those that are really among are doing to be among. |
I cannot believe these people. As for our number 1, it is time that you actually absolve yourself into expenses. If I were you, I will do no new infrastructural projects if it is not about light generation and security(food and physical). Every other project will be maintenance and upkeep of existing projects. Also involve yourself in helpful and situational laws that can help gain traction. In terms of commerce, Nigeria is expensive to do buainess. Work on making it easy with the above opinions. No time to dey do audio ordering or audio wishes without action. |
Nateevs2:You finish description work here. Nice 1 letting those naive duns know how far. |
That is one reason why the people don't take it serious. They'd rather go to hisba or sharia court which is not an official or National approved court. To be a great country means that country goes the mile process; which we are not close to being at all. But if we are serious, all that shortcuts and anyhow mentality is coming back to bite us. |
No emphaty in this passage. |
From what i heard about him, I tuwale. |
If only the cars get car camera, the good ekelebe go sabi learn from am. Also if fg, sg, and lga go fit get sense, try fingerprinting everybody on a national scale. Before you go to school especially from ss2 and all of uni., every year fingerprinting; before you get official license, one time fingerprinting; before you and your people go for election, same thing. These are the ways that Nigeria can get to a sensible level of forensics while it waits for constant light for more cameras. Crime will always go on, even the devil committed crime in heaven. But it can be minimized. Nigerians are not born thieves, it is just that everybody has a no dulling mentality. Which is cool but it's like everybody talking at the same time, which means stalling. We need to use the theories, and apply them to the practicals. I like that this van was padded. But the aftermath response was not managed properly. When fingerprint is in effect, all those crime scene disruptors will understand that it will be fair play when identified and treated like a suspect. Npf need to learn from America crime solving in the 40s and 50s, because technology was limited then. Learning is not a crime, and shouldn't get ego involved. |
