However, I know my friends; Abdulahi ishajobi, Sule Mohammed, Morayo Banjoko, Temisola Adewale, and I can easily say these amongst others are the finest human beings I know and their tribes hasn't stopped them from being good nor doing good. I share not in the sentiments of the present Nigeria, cos it shall not be said of me and my family, that " the fathers has eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth is set on edge ". fero007: same difference between Ufuoma in Urhobo and Ufuoma in Isoko, same difference between Imabong in efik and Imabong in ibibio I don't think they understand. they probably think Ibibio and efik are dialects of same tribe or sub groups like the way mbaise, mbano, ndoki, ngwo are sub groups of igbo. to correct them, Ibibio has many dialects, efik has many dialects, even oron has many dialects, they are not the same tribe |

ariesbull: Ika is an igboid group with Edo elements just like Abiriba is igboid dialect with ibibio elements just like Itshekiri is edoid language with Yoruba elements... An average ika man understand central Igbo but can't understand Benin
That's why they are called Ika Igbo group.... what makes you think its not an Edo group with some Igbo elements, most agbor people I know have names like osakwe, ozegbe, nosen, ofure and I learnt the way Igbos understand them little is how bini people also understand them little Many Agbor I know understand Bini o |

ariesbull: Ukwuani speaks Igbo dialect and they are tribe of their own same way the Owerri is tribe . Igbo is made up many tribes and that is why it's called ethnic group
The isoko is a tribe and they are same with urhobo not withstanding these minority politics of Delta region and they are same ...in Lagos they are in same meeting and that is it and they know it.
Itshekiri has aligned with their Yoruba cousin and that is a fact
Ukwuani is a tribe in Igbo group and their are many Igbo proud there ...ask proudly Anioma proudly Igbo group on Facebook not this faceless forum . Using your logic, where would you group ika people of agbor, cause I know that their language has as many Edo elements as Igbo, so does their general culture |

fero007: Are we not deceiving ourselves? Niger Delta was created by politians, was eastern region not created by the British
Edo and Delta were part of western region and can stay in Nigeria, but you want to take anioma pepo in delta, were they not in western region too, are they no ijaws in delta, are they no Urhobos in bayelsa, claim Biafra is not an Igbo state yet you want all Igbo lands complete and don't care if the other tribes will be separated from themselves.
I agree that SE n SS ve the closest relationship and have same struggle, let's nt face hausa n yoruba as if d oda tribes are saints. Was it not Gen Aguiyi that brought this centralized govt system? Did Igbos not cheat ijaws, Urhobos n itsekiris wen they wayoed Asaba to be Delta capital instead of Warri? Have Igbos not taken over Rivers state politics and favoured Igbo areas of port harcourt over ijaws? Even Niger deltans themselves have embezzled their own money and cheat and fight themselves for land everyday. So the problem of Nigeria is all of us
If Niger Delta is to be part of Biafra they must be good mutual understanding You didn't even mention what they did to non-igbos in Biafra, read what they did in akwa ibom. Be pretending like they are saints |

Thing is I know shell can't return like before, and even if all the companies that followed them can't all back. Besides in his final 3 years Uduaghan was running Delta fine without Shell, so whats the big deal? I didn't know shell left Warri o, cuz I travelled to Warri recently and my uncle's neighbour is a shell. I remember him saying I'm going to ogunu |
