Tinubu spent over a month in France, and Bayo Onanuga told Nigerians he was resting and preparing for the “rigorous campaign season ahead.” Now that the campaign is here, he appears to be outsourcing the heavy lifting to APC governors.

The schedule released by the APC suggests Tinubu will attend fewer campaign venues than most presidential candidates in Nigeria.

So, what exactly was he preparing for in France, Mr. Onanuga? If he was resting for a rigorous campaign, why is he now leaving the heavy lifting to the governors?
Which is which?

The schedule listed 12 states that he will lead the campaign. Are the other presidential candidates presidents? Do they have the work load of the president? Should the president abandon the ship of state for election campaign? Is this the best for Nigeria and Nigerian economy?

For me Tinubu is confident of returning and he doesn't want to derail his program because of election campaign. Besides he has got people that he trusts and believes in his vision. What is wrong in his allowing them to campaign for him. The other candidates don't have such liberty so they have to labour it out themselves.

Watch APC and Tinubu. There is absolute capacity, thoughtfulness and planning. The other parties have not constituted their PCC, no manifesto, no schedule and no plan and program.

Present consumption - 50 million liters.
Return PMS to #500 per liter.
Present true market price 1,400.
Amount to pay as subsidy 1,400 - 500 = 900.
Present consumption subsidy will be 900 × 50 million liters per month.
Add bloated consumption through smuggling and luxury of 20 million liters.

Post subsidy consumption 70 million liters.
Subsidy payable per month = 70 million liters × 900.

Where will Nigeria find this money and the economy will not crumble? Atiku and the return subsidy gang should tell us.

APC and PBAT are the most organized and ready party and candidate for the election. You can't have a professor as party chairman and a master strategist as leader and you will not end up with this.

As at today, we have five opposition governors in Nigeria. Two of the will serve as members of APC presidential campaign council while Abia state governor as openly declared that he won't be opposing the reelection of Mr. President. Bala Mohammed of the APM was recently seen campaigning for the president while Seyi Makinde is the only governor in Nigeria openly campaigning against Mr. President for obvious reasons.

For those who don't get what Peter Obi is proposing here, his policy is based on Nigeria's population (also population per state and size) and how far Nigerians have to travel within the country to access care. Some states may have 2 or 3 while some have zero.

Look at the models of US and India where many people travel to from Nigeria for cancer treatment:

India has 142 major cancer centres, research institutes and healthcare organizations.

US (Closer to Nigeria's population compared to India) has 74 NCI-designated cancer centres, including 58 Comprehensive cancer centers across 37 states. New York alone has 8.
