Klington:This is what it should be. Rates must respond to events and dynamics. Not the artificially fixed rate that you had before. Any fx trader must be at alert. Listen to news and events around the world so that you will know how to hedge or cross. Economic management is not Obi's street type. It's left for experts. Before now you can't read events in our economy through the fx rates. Whether our fx reserves are increasing or decreasing, the exchange rate will not move. Accept change. You can't operate an old system in a modern economy. |
FSBoperator:That's correct 💯 my brother. Kanu is not detained but imprisoned. IPOB lobbyists didn't give them the right information. |
Penguin2:You can go ahead and insult someone that you will celebrate if you are allowed to be his gardener because this is social media. Provide evidence of where he constantly issued statements against Jonathan? Provide evidence of where he protested against Buhari without national instruction from either CAN or PFN. We will like you to provide evidence that such instructions have been issued by the bodies recently but he and his church backed out. We thought that you guys said that Adeboye is APC pastor. Buhari's regime isn't APC government? |
Endinjustice:Oyedekpo that supported your yes daddy politician is not a tribal hypocrite? Adeboye doesn't need you or your politicians' validation. His voice is respected all over the world. You want him to help you validate your hatred so that you will use it to run in your campaign. You can't get it. |
Antoeni:He protested then and you can protest now. It's a choice. |
Evanderbright:The truth is that the factors that gave Obi the high votes all over the country will not operate in 2027. * Endsars effect * Same faith propaganda * Element of surprise - Obi was inconsequential prior to the election. The actors overlooked him. * Blank belief by the youths - he has been unmasked. * Emefeli and fuel scarcity against Tinubu * Buhari's cabal working against Tinubu. |
If he likes let him visit them in the moon we have heard very loud that ADC and NDC are contradiction of what they projected themselves to be. Amechi said it. Hayatudeen said it. Isha Yusuf said it. We watched ADC counting in Rivers State. Emeka Ike said it. We watched all the fights and manipulations during NDC'S primary. Just small party. It's all about personal quest for power. Nothing new. Not even about the masses. They can't deceive the enlightened. |
SixSeven:Buhari or OBJ are not professors or SAN but their political standing and value is far more than a professor. Obi's political standing is not. |
Penguin2:Kwankwaso is suffering the effects of overpricing. He over priced himself. He made unrealistic demands from APC which APC rejected. Being part of APC and getting a handsome position preparatory to 2031 would have paid him better. He got stranded as soon as Kano governor joined APC. Without thinking he joined ADC and when there was no way he ran out to deputize someone far lower than him. A PhD holder, former minister, former senator and former state governor when Obi wasn't known is now doing boy boy to Obi and Dickson. How are the mighty fallen? They will not win and after 2027 his value will go further down. |
Ofunaofu:Lagos is not facing the same crime rate as the rest of Nigeria. In fact Lagos is one of the safest. Lagos state government has a state security trust fund where funds are contributed by the government and private sector to fund the Nigerian police. The police in Lagos is the best funded and best equipped. The crime rate is relatively low that's why major elites keep their families in Lagos. Lagos has neighbourhood watch. What Lagos needs is full state police. |
DonFreshmoney:Let me answer you. Lagos state has a state security trust fund where the government and private sector contributes money to extra fund the police. The Nigerian police in Lagos is the best equipped and funded. That's why you have low crime rate. Next.... Lagos is a cosmopolitan city therefore rag tag amotekun will not fit into their model. There are neighborhood watch in Lagos. What Lagos needs is pure state police and that will mean transferring their funding of Nigeria Police to their state police. Makinde just wants to attack anything Tinubu. |
marlow1962:Politics has become retirement profession for Nollywood actors. Have you not seen Kenneth Okonkwo talking waaa waaa. Ditto Desmond Elliott. |
HisSexcellency:They all belong to social media politicians. Abuja is the head cutter ![]() |
InvertedHammer:How long ago did Obingo join NDC? NDC na party of rejects and those that want none competitive party. |
Kindergarten party primary. A party of only 700,000 members. |
Why not help a brother na ![]() |
daniwise:Which of the INEC former boss? Is the person Abubakar Mamud? |
Achor1111:Was it Abubakar Mamud? |
Chijeep:Which 24m votes? The total number of registered members of NDC is 700 members. This is boys quarters party. |
Bentacur007:NDC .... party of rejects. From top to bottom. He failed to win the primary and of course he has to find solace in a kindergarten party. It's all about quest for power and free political money. Watch him now he will start to sing a new song. Claim saint, all knowing, condemn everything APC and abuse Tinubu. He will tell us that NDC is a party of Messiahs. That they will solve all Nigeria's problems in one year. The same persons but a different name as a party. I will rather stick with the tested than the untested. |
daniwise:Was it for one judge? It was for judges just like legislatures and executive have quarters. Be logical. |
MadPolitician:Even if the woman did well, it's not morally right for the direct beneficiary to award such. It raises suspicion. If the woman is truly morally upright she should reject it otherwise it amounts to conflict of interest. It's like paying you for what you did for me. |
Ofunaofu:Fat lie. Our people will never allow this. We are too unwelcoming even to ourselves. There are civil servants of Igbo extraction that are in Lagos state civil service. Some have retired and earn their pensions. But as soon as Abia was created from old Imo and some civil servants of Imo origin were posted to Abia, all of them were sacked. I'm the only Igbo landlord on my street in Lagos. Anytime that I'm around my neighbours that are mostly Yorubas will feel happy around me. They say that I'm a detribalised Igbo man. In Aba where I work an ngwa man will not allow his fellow Igbo man to rest. He will remind you always that this is ala ngwa. We are not welcoming. Period. |
O WebMind:Can you interrogate APC membership register submitted to INEC and show us proof that the number of registered members are false. Argue and condemn with facts so that you can be honourable. |
SmartPolician:Honestly Nigerian politics is funny. Everyone is a chieftain and expert. Outside Nollywood acting have you ever heard of where Okonkwo has worked or practiced a profession? Now he educates us on debt, economy and leadership. He has never managed the budget of an enterprise that operates from a kiosk but he is educating us on national budget. For Nigerian politics it's all about visibility and noise. That's why one of them that likes trending on social media thinks that he's the best presidential material in Nigeria. |
isio1:Among the contestants who is he? |
There is reward for patience, trust, humility and loyalty in politics. Tinubu passed this test and that's why he has many loyalists. Atiku and Obi have all failed this test woefully. Shettima has demonstrated all these since 2023. PBAT in his usual braveness has destroyed the same faith myth in Nigerian politics. A winning team is not supposed to be changed. |
Dricker:In your opinion we should construct village roads and make sure that rice is #5k per bag and petrol is #300 per liter. It must remain like this forever and this will take us to a big economy. Oh I have forgotten that Obi said that infrastructure doesn't grow an economy but he lived in UK and enjoyed super infrastructure. |
jmoore:I want to ask you: sample the opinion of every state governor even in opposition and ask them if they will prefer Tinubu or any other. Their resounding response will be Tinubu. He made governance easy for them. Oti's signature bank is awash with Abia money. It's easier for PBAT to win now than 2023. He doesn't need rigging. He is audacious and bold. He is ambitious. He likes taking up big challenges. We expect him to drive his reforms for another four years and thereafter pick a disciple from the north to run it for another eight years. After this Nigeria's head will be so raised up. Enough of patch patch and cosmetic approach to governance in Nigeria. We don't want those that will think small just to look good in the eyes of the public meanwhile bleak future awaits us. |
Dancebreaker:This one na for career and politics forever politicians. Technocrats in the government have no time and interest in politics. Once they leave, they head back to their profession. |
Bobloco:It is not. If you stay in Abuja and enjoy yourself even if you do well in your assignment the locals will not regard you. Politics is local and not online or always appearing in the news. This is what Obi don't understand. They taught him a bit and he began to go up and down sinking ancient boreholes and donating money. This is not enough. You do it when you don't need anything from them. When you need them you tell them that it's your turn to get paid back. |
