So there is still inflation (cost-push), but demand (weak purchasing power) is slowing the rate of inflation down.

This your long explanation is not the issue. You said that the general rate of inflation went down because of weak purchasing power. I disagreed. Research on Nigerian inflation history without focusing on any particular regime. The traditional cause has in most cases been cost-push.

Mark and Co. rather than appear went on appeal to the Court of Appeal.

Court of Appeal asked them to revert back to FHC. Costs were awarded against Mark &Co. Preservative and accelerated hearing orders were given.

Mark &Co. rather than go back appealed against the Court of Appeal's decision to the Supreme Court.
