None of these buses will get to any village or remote areas. They are mostly for intercity and intracity transport and most cities in Nigeria average a population of 1million people. How can 30 buses here, 15 buses there cater for 1million people in the first instance

And of course what happens to the rural dwellers who form majority of Nigerians? I guess they are left to continue to grapple with high fuel price

Where in the world have you heard that the government at the center provides buses for states and local governments to operate in their domain? The FG is showing states a model. This is absolutely the responsibility of states.

As for your Atiku and return of subsidy I wish you luck. When he runs it for a year and runs out of gas you and your lots eyes will clear.

Foreign reserves will dry.
Massive infrastructure upgrade going on will stop.
States and LG will receive less.
Salaries will be owed by states.
Strikes will return.
Nelfund will go.
ASU will resume indefinite strikes.
Naira will become weaker because of low reserves to defend it.
Fuel scarcity and queue will return.
Fuel smuggling will resume.

Personally I have nothing to lose. I have a small family. I will enjoy the cheap petrol with you for one year and when everywhere come crashing I will wave you bye and read about hyper suffering in Nigeria where I am.

Loans aren't for those that can afford to pay. I have no business taking loan to buy a car or a house when I can outrightly pay from my pocket. No indigent student can afford private university fees. Nelfund is not free money. Students from comfortable homes in public universities are not taking nelfund.

Most public primary and secondary schools are tuition free why not ask the government to pay the tuition of those in private schools.
