Nigeria's problem is not its massive population, Nigeria's problem is the failure to develop an economy that utilizes its massive populaiton.

A country with a declining population means fewer workers to support things like pensions and support for the elderly.

Massive population is a factor. India is fairly industrialized but large population made them a poor nation. In the early days of China they had to halt population growth to allow their economy grow.

Obi wouldn't have had the courage to remove petroleum subsidy. The pressure, blackmail and backlash would have weighed him down. Why didn't former presidents remove it? If Tinubu had waited for two weeks after resumption he would not have been able to remove the subsidy. Subsidy removal, fx unification, tax law restructuring and state police are about some of the most difficult political decisions to take in this country. A man like Obi hasn't got the balls.

Ask ADC to quote section 225(a) of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. They are just trying to be clever. They wrote all above without quoting the law under which a party can be deregistered. Atiku went shopping for party without conducting proper due diligence. ADC has a lot of baggage. Nigerians can see how empty the opposition is. You have a lot of money and you want to buy a party and you can't hire consultants to run all checks for you before you make your decision. Now these issues are coming out one by one rather than blame yourself you decided to raise public sentiments just to paint PBAT black. Na like this you go give us new Nigeria?

The judiciary is being allowed as a tool and weapon against opposition parties and that is not only alarming but a threat to a healthy democratical alliance and competition. Read section 225(a) of the constitution of the federal Republic of Nigeria. When Atiku was shopping for a party to buy he didn't do due diligence. ADC had a lot of baggage but Atiku blindly bought it. The only fault that I can find with INEC is that they would have deregistered the parties long time ago because this is the law. INEC need not have waited till some people took this matter to court.

If INEC carry out the court order now people will read meaning into the action and accuse Tinubu and APC. If INEC disobeys the court order it will amount to INEC acting against the constitution. Some years back so many parties including Gani Fawehimi's were deregistered based section 225(a).

He even got good deals for his friends in their Ggroup that contributed nothing to his principal. I think Wike likes PBAT's brain, audacity and bridge- building qualities. Few politicians in Nigeria agree to deals and honour them to the satisfaction of the parties.

The focus is rather on keeping him away from the 2027 conversation because Tinubu himself knows the capacity of Elrufai to unmake him as president.
