People used to use their naira to buy dollar and keep rather than investing in properties and other things with the expectation of selling them in a few months and making a kill. Try that now and you can be sure that you will receive less Naira. The exchange rate is stable. Key challenge in an economy is volatility of exchange rates. The naira is stable. I will not waste further time because you will not understand the economic dynamics of exchange rates.

The informed even in the opposition privately understand that Nigeria is heading in the right direction. The electorate needs effective communication. What the old order provided was the government giving the ordinary Nigerian #300 subsidy and the rich taking #30 million and all leading to bleak future. When the Treasury becomes empty: the rich and their children have solid future while ordinary Nigerians become worse off with no future.

Ask yourself: why is it that dollar suddenly is no longer a major store of wealth unlike before? You can easily access it. No more hoarding.

In Nigeria, the government of APC are more interested in witch hunting truth tellers than in holding liars and propagandists accountable, while media outlets like NTA, ChannelsTv and certain journalists as well as data boys are pampered with “brown envelopes” to influence and 'hallelujahlise' their reporting.

Trump is not stopping these media organisations from reporting, publishing, or criticising his administration. His restriction is about access to the White House, not a blanket ban on their ability to operate as news organisations.

There is an important distinction between denying a media organisation access to a particular government venue and silencing the press altogether. The latter is a direct attack on press freedom; the former, while certainly open to criticism and debate, is not the same thing.
