Pls don't quote me wrongly, the purpose of this thread is not to encourage smoking but to get explanation from Nairaland deep thinkers of what could be the probable cause of it. but from my own observation, When i was opportuned to visit USA (Miami, Florida) to be precise. I was forced to compare and contast the social live styles of our Women with theirs as regard to smoking and drinking. I noticed about 45% of them were habitual smokers.

Smoking should not be encouraged at all, whether by men or women.
May be smoking is one of those Western cultures that doesn't go down well with our women.

APC as well spentt billions on their campaign. Most states are still owing workers their salaries.

The man was only waiting for his own entourage and the Car that will take them back to their hotel. It is even rare that the PM will host a Private Visitor and give the person the Reception Buhari received today.

For him to earn this not as a Sitting President or as a Top UN or EU official shows GMB is respected and honored. Every reasonable Nigerian should be proud. I'm proud my incoming President was deemed fit to be hosted to an almost Presidential reception in Downing Street.

But wait... Should he wait outside like that for his entourage ? Shouldn't his aides be waiting for him there
Buhari is our president elect. I'm rather mindful of how our leaders are treated outside.
Our leaders should also be careful the way they travel to Europ and America.

This story is true. I cannot stress this point any more.

A woman got into an altercation with a military officer in mufti at the airport. The woman slapped the officer and just as the officer's orderly was about to pounce on the woman for hitting his boss and senior officer in the Nigerian Army, the officer restrained him.

It then dawned on the woman that she had messed up big time. The officer simply told her that

"madam you are not going any where today until you call your husband here."

The woman pleaded for forgiveness but the officer simply told her to call her husband that she should count herself lucky that he does not fight women. The woman then called her husband in between tears.

The husband rushed down to meet his wife. On seeing his wife with a strange man and two stern looking soldiers, the man politely asked his wife what the problem was at which point the officer smiled to him and offered him a handshake and introduced himself.

The officer then turned to the woman and said

"since you don't respect other people's husband, I want you to give your husband the same slap you gave me on both his cheeks."

The officer warned her that she must give him the same hot slap or else she will repeat it until he was satisfied.

The man did not speak to his wife for over a month.
