I wouldn't want to say Abacha. No one knows the amt Obj has. Remember OFN operation feed the Nation now Obasanjo Farm of Nigeria?
He has succeeded in privatising almost everything in govt. He is the one who drove all the occupants of 1004 ESTATE. You can't mention him without Atiku.
He raised the fuel price more than 5 times in his tenure. It was during his time we heard of Ghana Must Go bags passing through the senate.
How much does OBJ worth?

These days, men are better economics. We have our scale of preference.
@poster. Why would you want a man to pursue you in the first place? Because you have a big ego. The truth is that you want someone to massage your ego. There are more willing girls and probably more virtuous ones.
From experience and observation, women prefer to chase men than for men to chase them.

You telling men how to chase you when they have so many options.

They should thank God that PHCN is not controlled by the state. If your credit finishes you go wait for 2wks.
That's one of the reasons state police won't work.

I think I've witnessed interpretaion of tongue in TAC. Its quite rare but it happens.
Sometimes when I want to prophesy, I start with speaking in tongues.
No one can determine the kind of tongues to speak; whether Chinese, Hausa, Spanish or Itshekiri. It might even be an unearthly language. Whatever it is, receive it with faith.

Nairaland General › People Who Beg A Lot Are Usually Selfish Or Have A Problem by vislabraye(op): 11:07pm On Dec 20, 2012
When I talk about beggars, I'm not referring to the handicaps or physically deformed. I'm talking about the abled-bodied people. The strange part of it is that, they usually have jobs.

I met a man today as I walked out of my compound. He approached me in a friendly manner.

I know he looked familiar but I couldn't picture how I met him. He told me that his wife is pregnant and is hospitalized. He said he need some money to get to her. I deeped my hand into my pocket and gave him 200 naira.
He was so greatful.

After 10 minutes, I came to realize he had begged me before with a similar story.

One day after Sunday service, I walked to my car but before I turned on the ignition, I saw someone by my window. He told me his wife just put to birth. I didn't have any money to give him, but I told him I would see him later.
Have you met such people before?

She lacks depth. I don't know whether this is how radio presenters behave. She has fake accent and she's looks like a wannabe.
If someone like Paddy Adenuga approaches her for a one night stand she can't refuse.

Politics › Re: Achebe’s Biafra Memoir In IOS Best Books For 2012 by vislabraye(m): 3:37pm On Dec 20, 2012
We have to admit that Achebe is truly a legend in literature. He's the highest selling African author of all time and his book things fall apart is amongst the top 100 books sold.
We know he's a good writer may be not a fantastic historian.
Politics › Re: Achebe’s Biafra Memoir In IOS Best Books For 2012 by vislabraye(m): 11:29am On Dec 20, 2012
There are always two sides of a story. I would love to read the book to see the story from Achebe's point of view.

During the war, other tribes also lost their lives and properties. In Bayelsa, Cross Rivers and some other states, there are still landmines there.
If the war could have been avoided, that would have been the best.
The war affected every other tribe in the South region. I lost my grand-father during the war.
The war is no over and we have to move forward. Upon all that the nation has gone through, her leaders have not yet learnt a thing.
Entertainment › Re: Meet The World’s Tallest Family, Husband Is 7ft, Wife 6ft 5″ – See Photos by vislabraye(m): 10:41am On Dec 20, 2012
Jimbadly: Sweet and lovely couple. The man is a giant and the wife is very tall for a woman. Such union is not always good. The children are most likely going to be taller. People this tall usually stick out in a crowd, and as such its a great disadvantage. Their kids especially the girls will be the objects of ridicule at school. That can make life a living hell for them. Moreover people this tall have a hard time getting a girlfriend or a boyfriend.
Tall men will always get good gf as long as the height isn't caused by hormonal imbalance.
