Is Dbanj and DonJ the only entertainers in Nigeria? No one owes any body a greeting.
They both have big egos so no one is going to budge for the other.
Whatever.

I still remember Caroline Ekanem who's now married the Theophilus Danjuma's brother.

Its really sad. I think Olabukola was just being sarcastic not is if he supported them.

Is this how Lagos is working? I hope a PDP Governor takes over Lagos state.

That's mean. All this omonile, may be they sold the land to Lagos state and later sold it to the church. The price is so cheap.
Why did Lagos state governor choose Xmas of all days?

aksat: Hey yaaa... people are angry with GEJ, pastor Adeboye and RCCG Alter. But you have forgotten your own life. On the judgement day, God will not judge based on the fact that your president is corrupt but you will stand alone to give account of your life. Even if GEJ is a thiev, are u better than him that tell "white lies", commit fornication and adultry and do all sort of things that r not pleasing unto God?
Before God sin is a sin. So why don't you leave GEJ and RCCG alone and think about your own life. Remember what Jesus told the people that wanted to stone the adultrous woman to death. Same is happening here. You think God has condemned our president? No. I still strongly believe that God with him and in due season what God is doing through him for nigeria will show.
Our president needs our prayer, that is why he came to the house of God. So let's continue to pray for him. Our critisism will not solve any problem.
Before God sin is sin. That's very true. What do you say when an armed robber robs you or your governor embezzles that state treasury thus depriving you of necessary amenities?

john ngene: may GOd forgive dis already fustrated man. who is looking for how to die, how dear him accuse the gathering of the children of God heis so devilish and selfish. is it because as a pastor he had not had the opportunity to climb the altar is that y he is saying all dis rubbish, may God forgive him for blaspheming against an annointed man of God.
Blasphemy against a man of God shocked. Where did you hear that from?

Pst Adeboye is a highly respected MOG and he's also human. Running a big church as RCCG is not easy, but God has given him the grace to do it. He's one of the most influential preachers. If he decides to speak sense to GEJ or condem the activities of the senators, they would/should listen.
If the president or a politician should attend RCCG, its a good thing. That's a big opportunity to talk to them.

The same goes to CAN and PFN leadership. Let all these influential pastors sit together and speak on how to move the country forward.

dayokanu: Here we go again with the daily "Everyone is against Igbo" rubbish

OBJ simply wanted people he could control and Yar Adua and Jonathan fits the bill the most.

If they dropped Odili cos he was Ibo was Ibori, Attah and Donald Duke who had more clout than Jonathan also Ibos?

Mind you Jonathans mind was on contesting for his own Governorship mandate and he would have had 8yrs in front of him while Ibori, Duke etc had completed 8yrs matured in governance and ready to move to the next level in the country

OBJ didnt disqualify Odili for being Ibo OBJ knew he couldnt control Odili once he got into power. Same reason why OBJ favoured Yar Adua over Atiku
You shouldn't even bother educating him. First thing he has in his mind is " because he's igbo".
Christianity Etc › Re: Holy Ghost Congress A Political Congress - EX Pastor Of (RCCG), Bankole Solomon by vislabraye(m): 3:39am On Dec 24, 2012
Some people have started castigating the pastor before seeing his point of view.
Adeboye is in such as situation where he needs to apply caution. Yes we are suppose to honour our leaders, but do so with care.

For instance, what is he seen doing with Ibori who is a well known scoundrel? The amount of politicians who troop in and out freely to see him is worrisome. After hearing the scandals committed by these politicians, they seek refuge in the church. So it now looks as if Pst. Adeboye is endorsing their action. Pastors need to be careful so that they are not used.

Well, there are quite a number of people who are talented in certain areas but speak poor English.
Won't it be better if you are both talented and a good communicator in the language.
Some people even say that speaking good English language does not put food on the table.
Chnua Achebe and Ngozi Adeche are examples of successful writers in English Language. Mind you, Adeche read medicine.

Odili's corruption was second to none. All these one he's saying is just because he's not in jail. He chopped Rivers State clean.
Unlike what most people are saying, its not because he's an igbo man.
BTW most Ikwere people don't claim to be Igbo. They only choose to be Igbo on special occasions and choose not to be when there's a stigma attached to it.

Mind you Keshi gave his own side of the story.
Let's try to look at both sides of the story.
Do you think Keshi would want to drop Osaze for no good reason?
Mind you it was this same Osaze that blasted Siasia, Amodu and Lagerback. These things happened not too long ago. Personally, I like Osaze and Keshi does too, but he is in the best position to comment.

Osaze has been a very good player and he still is. I would have love to see him in the nations cup instead of Sola Ameobi but I wouldn't blame the coach.

Osaze is a careless talker. There's no coach he has not criticized or clashed with.
I remembered he said his wife is expecting their baby and would not be able to concentrate for the NC. So what do you want the coach to do?

Christianity Etc › Re: Are You Fully Conscious When Speaking In Tongues? by vislabraye(m): 2:04pm On Dec 23, 2012
The speaking in tongues done in churches today is not what is described in Acts 2. Acts2 has absolutely nothing to do with the 'rababarabobo' done in churches nowadays. The event Acts 2 describes is about real languages. The apostles preached in Arameic, and it says all the people present listening said 'how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?' The people did not speak Arameic, they were from Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, Mesopotamia, Cappadocia,Phrygia, amphylia, Libya. each person heard the Aramaic his in own language, go read it. For example, if you speak only English, and u preach to a French and Italian who don't understand a word of English, as you are speaking your english, the Frenchman hears french & the Italian hears Italian simultaneously. That is what Acts 2 describes not 'orobobobobokaka' that u call evidence of having the so called holy Ghost. if u do your research, that type of uncordinated speech is linked with the occult.
Which bible do you read.
When you speak in tongues, do you know the language you communicate in?

I heard of a Nigerian who went to a fellowship in the US. A certain black American was speaking in tongues, but in actual fact, the tongue was in Igbo language. To the black American he was speaking gibberish, but to the Nigerian he spoke sense.

BTW who says it must be an earthly language? There are tongues of angels and various other tongues. Do your research. If not there wouldn't be need for the gift of tongues interpretation.
