A lot of pastors that are called by God has become so materialistic. That's the plain truth. Does prosperity mean materialism?

That's why I admire Pastor Kumuyi. A humble and modest man of God. I've never heard him in any "seed" controversy. If he wanted a private jet, I'm sure he would have been the first. I've not heard any scandal about him, but he's very anointed of God.

I've not seen policemen or body guards harassing people who get close to him. Sometimes I wonder, do these MOGs worship the same God?

Yet in some conventions, you'll see Ibori, OBJ and the likes getting the front row. Yes prosperity is good. But the Church should not forget the crux of the matter. Whether rich or poor we will all die.

One thing that actually pisssed me off was when Olumegbon visited Illumination Assembly and was given a special seat. In fact he mounted the podium to speak and the preacher now said, "Olumegbon is now born again". What a charade.
Its this same Olumegbon that is the trouble maker in Aja axis. He's always known to fight and he's heavily jazzed up.
So these MOGs should check themselves.

Nice sense of humor. Of recent, I've seen a lot of things in the Nigerian Christian church.

There's one church I visited where the pastor said every body should give 12k for divine health insurance for the 12 months of the year. He said if you are sick, you would pay more than that.

We have all sorts of shameless scam in the church. So sometimes I don't blame people who are sceptical of pastors

A place like Ghana High Commission where people throng in large number. I've tasted their food and its delicious.
Some times it has to be the location. If a Calabar woman opens a canteen in a crowded area, there would be customers.
But juju is real O. And some people use it. I've heard of it in the 90s.

I blame the man for a lot of things. Had it been he was nice to other employees of his, he wouldn't have been s.crewed up the way he was.
So whether the girl was rude or not doesn't come in in the first place.
Had it been he had paid his workers promptly, this wouldn't have happened.

wellmax: Little wonder then that everyone want τ̅☺ come or be assoicated with Lagos. You see, Lagos was rated as such not becos its so bad, al least you know that, but because its among those reviewed. Volks Wagen Bitus is a chaep car, but you don't see it on the list of cheap cars. Wake up from your slumber, the world only knows Lagos and Abuja, if they know town, it will be the worst τ̅☺ live in in history.
Yes, Lagos is a great city. But is it Fashola or AC N that made it what it is?
Of course not to mention that it has always been the commercial centre in Nigeria.

OYINBOGOJU: How does that road put food on the table of poor man?
How can you ask this question shocked. This is Econs 101. You don't need to be lectured on the importance of good road, do you?

^^^^^^
Then let them learn how to use the media. Propaganda is also allowed. Can't they see how Fashola is using it? Lagos is always on the news. Its all strategy.
I know the opposition is bad. Its just a pity that GEJ hasn't lived up to expectation. In fact he's facing so many battles. Oppostion parties, Nothern elites, and in house which also includes OBJ. I 4got to mention BH and Corruption.
Politics › Re: The Media Is An Opposition Dominated Industry by vislabraye(m): 2:16am On Dec 05, 2012
I can never support PDP for any thing but that's not to say that the oppostion party is better.
El Ruffai who's always on twitter looks for the slightest opportunity to lash at PDP. But don't 4get he use to be one of them.
Like the poster has said, AC N uses the media better than PDP but I won't be fooled by them.
I remember the fuel protest on January. Fashola was so happy that he even provided free ambulance. He also criticized the government. But he was the same person who used tear gas and police to beat protesters of the toll gate. That toll gate is a big fraud. Not to talk about the ban of Okada.

As for El Ruffai, he keeps whining on twitter seeking the sentiments of the youths.

I'm not supporting the PDP but the oppositions have not proved to be better.

What agreement did he make with her? Did he write one of her songs? It all depends but 100m is way too much.

Our problem in this nation is the so called intellectuals. We have so many analysts, but a lot of them a just paper tigers.
He didn't even make emphasies on the corrupt govt officials. Does he know how much money has been looted so far? IBB was just acquitted of $12b dollars Gulf oil.
The most buoyant countries in the world get help from the govt. Before you can talk of private sector, the govt should put some necessary amenities in place.
With all the oil and natural resources, fertile land, tourist sites and the likes, there's still unemployment. Isn't there something wrong?
Yet in this same country, we have 200 jet owners.
Any way, Alder is speaking for the elite though he made good points.

Idris Elba would add some effects to it

The picture is so touching. There's every reason we should be thankful to God.
Sometimes we are fond of whining about a lot of things. If we sit down and consider others we're not better than, we'll thank God.

Revolva: See your mouth am I a rich or an elite nigerian? I am an ordinary citizen like you trying to survive in this wicked nigeria..system

See all dose MFM, RGGC , oyedepo shilo camps is suppose to be a manufacturing ground for production and scientific research if this gar damm country has a vision - as told by a chinese man who visited and lamented.
Nigeria has so much land which the govt is not using in the fist place. If you go to the North by road for instance, you could travel for three hours and not see a single hut.
If they acquired the land for religious purpose, that's good. I'm surprised you're not talking about Guru Maharaji's temple.
Christianity Etc › Re: Shiloh 2012: Double Portion:...DAY FOUR by vislabraye(m): 10:26am On Dec 04, 2012
I believe in miracles so I won't dispute with those who have encountered them.
My problem is this: we have so many crusades. Shiloh will come, then MFM would have their own, Holy Ghost congress would kickoff all in this December. Tens of thousands will fill the auditorium. But this same people are corrupt, wicked, inflaters of contracts and the likes. Just watch out, many government officials will rush in and would be given the front seats.
With the amount of people who go to these crusades, the world should be a better place. Yet they can't even change Lagos.

DNA test can solve a lot of speculations. They should go for it.

Its most unlikely that the baby is premature. Assuming it is a test can still confirm the paternity.
Health › Doctors In The House: Are Single Boned Individual Stronger Than Normal? by vislabraye(op): 11:49pm On Dec 03, 2012
I've been hearing this for long about people with single femur (I'm not sure whether its femur or hemur) that is single bone in the arm rather than double.
I don't know what the condition is called. But what I've heard many people say is that people with "one bone" are very strong. What's your take on it?
If you're a one boned person, let's hear from you.
Health › Re: Why Am I Always NERVOUS? by vislabraye(m): 11:41pm On Dec 03, 2012
I think nervousness has to do with high expectation. An interview is a very good example. But you can't be nervous while eating or watching comedy.
I used to be nervous talking with very cute ladies.

But what I've realized is that, the more I approached them, the less I felt nervous.
Face whatever makes you nervous. If its ladies for example, talk to them more often. You can give urself a target of speaking to 100 girls a week.

I met one Edo called from Auchi called Miriam. Men, this babe is very fine. She's tall slim and fair. I thought she was igbo at first.

Its a pity. Imagine how mediocrity almost caused an innocent boy,s life. How could the nurse be so stiupidd? Most nurses shouldn't even wear white at all. Black is more suitable for them. As for the doctors, I don't know what to call them.

Before you people start criticizing prayers and pastors, think again. When you find yourself in a situation where you don't know what to do, the best option is to pray.

I see people praising the poster for having common sense. There's nothing his common sense would have done to help him.
