Wow. But this is just like a security deposit right? I'm guessing the balance should be refundable after your stay.

I want to use this medium to inform furture mothers that hospitals here has changed, probably because of the experience they are having .

For example,Brampton Civic how reguire you to deposit 8000 CAD upon coming to the hospital so please let us be aware especially for those who borrow money to.do medical visa or those who cuz they do not havr enough fund apply for visiting visa.

As much as we all.hope for VA birth, anything can happen, thus why it is important to have more than enough in case of emegerncy .

There is no such thing as not treating someone with a bullet wound without a police report any longer. A law was recently passed to abolish that. Anyone still doing that is going against the law

Rubbish.. Just as doctors don't treat anybody with bullet wound until much evidence is brought to clear him/her.

From personal experience, TB are not really valued by VOs. They prefer the easily accessible cash in your statement. And 2m seems to be quite small for this sort of trip..how much is your budget sheet value in total?

If you're pregnant, all the doctor needs to do is to state your EDD. And you can explain further about not being able to fly after a certain number of weeks due to airline regulations in the body of the application. I wouldn't know for any other scenario.

You can make changes I think up to 72hrs before your appointment. Go to your profile on cgifederal.secure.force.com, and uodate your profile with your new ds-160 number. Reprint the appointment confirmation and take this new one along to your interview. You can also send an email to support-nigeria@ustraveldocs.com, and inform them you'd like to replace your old ds-160 with a new one(quote the numbers of both ds-160 forms).

I completed my DS 160 form and scheduled an appointment early this month. On the query that reads 'Person/Entity paying for your trip', I interpreted the trip to me airfare and filled in 'self'. i later got to know they are actually asking for who is sponsoring my study.

I have a PhD admission with GTA and feel I should have filled in my school name instead.

While surfing the net, I saw two sets ofinformation
(i) that I can complete another DS160 and bring it the new confirmation page along to the interview.
(ii) that I can complete a new DS 160 form and update my code on the Visa Application profile and then print a new appointment page.

My inquiries

(1) Pls, is any of the above possible without affecting my appointment schedule.
(2) Do they apply to Nigeria applicants as what the info i got was provided on an Indian page.

I need an urgent response pls.

Hello house. I've been reading from the beginning of this thread up to about page 50, but I'm still confused about something. Is it possible to submit a family application for a TRV online, or must it be thru the paper route only? My hubby has a valid US visa, while I'd be applying with a virgin passport, and I believe applying as a family would be better.

I totally agree with this, was denied today also.
All the VO asked were questions about my workplace, and how much I earn. She went further to ask if I was a durect or contract staff with the organization(an American company). I even presented a letter of introduction from my company, and that was it. Nothing about bank statements, as my husband is listed as sponsor. When I asked why she didn't bother looking at the statement, she said she doesnt need to, and her decision has been made based on the conversation we just had. However, I know someone who got d visa (B2) 2 days ago for childbirth purpose.

I don't think these VO are still giving pregnant women ooo, atleast not like before. Maybe giving birth in US is no longer enough reason to go to US.
I think the era where people hide their pregnancy and go for interview will soon return

House please I need some advice:
Is it advisable to modify my budget sheet, now that Oakbend prices have changed to reflect the new prices, as I still have the price list sent by the doctor a month ago showing the previous prices?

I was scheduled for my visa interview for March 29th in Lagos but i guess because of Buhari visit, I got a message telling me that my interview has been shifted with no new date and I was asked to check my mail for further info. I haven't gotten any mail from them.

They just shifted all appointments scheduled for tomorrow in Lagos to a month later! This doesn't make sense at all. And to believe all they did was send an sms notification at past 3pm.

It doesn't end there. You still need to call or write dem.
The new application code doesn't match what you have in your appointment confirmation letter. You'll be turned back on the day of interview if this is not corrected.

The change reflected in my appointment confirmation form, once I changed fthe DS-160 code on my profile. So I was able to print out a new appointment confirmation with the new code. However I have also written them as well to be on the safe side.

Hello house, since I'm reapplying after being denied, do I need to open a new profile and is it possible to deactivate the old profile that someone used in helping me apply? Also, how feasible is it to get a date in March at this point?

are you sure the agent didn't spice up your DS-160 form.
2. Avoid last minute lump sums into account even if it's hubby or wifey. Use their account instead they r your spouse it makes logical sense that way. Remember VO does not have time to ask who sent this "huge amount to you.

You can re apply and sure pray for favour and a patient VO.

Also make sure you go through this last form filled for you and straighten it out.

Finally spill out the main reason dual citizenship for your baby. they know and you know so spill it

Thanks for your response. Actually I think the answers the agency asked me to provide contributed to the whole situation. I was asked not to mention dual citizenship at all, but from what I've been reading on this thread, it seems its quite important to mention that.

Also about the bank statement, how soon is too soon for lump sums to appear on the account? 1 week, 2 weeks? House please educate me.
