The article was already tribalistic. They didn't have to state his hometown and where he was raised.
That's his identity, they needed to. We just need to purge our mindset of tribalism.

That means you will be overly blessed then, Pride and ego brings people down more than anything.

For all it's worth, I live in Canada. I don't argue that some women don't cause problems for their husbands. I am saying a lot of women still live well with their husbands after coming abroad so saying 'I hate Nigerian women' is sexist and over reaching. We men have our faults too. Some of us live in the Western world where women have equal rights with men and yet we try to subdue our women with the fear that they will be difficult to manage if allowed to explore. At the end, this makes them turn against us. A lot of homes are broken here cause some Nigerian men can't bear the slightest hint of equality. My point is, if the OP's wife is terrible (neglecting the dangers of one sided stories), then she should be criticized and not 'Nigerian women'. You don't bash all women cause of the action of some. If we treat men-related issues like this, nobody will like Nigerian men as well.
Are you sure you are a man? Cos this, coming from a Nigerian man is strange, oh wow!

Reading your story, I'm only impressed about two things.

1. She came on time to the venue.
2. She offered to pay part of the bill even though you were the one who invited her on the date.

Why that is impressive is that it means she's got values and morals about what is right and wrong. And she expresses such values through her actions.

Hopefully, she keeps upholding such values even when people don't reciprocate such gestures to her. Because you Op have no personal values you live by. You only remember to respect yourself when you're forced to.
He has no morals at all and this is very saddening.

Administration1:
A heart attack happens when there is a sudden complete blockage of an artery that supplies blood to an area of your heart.

A heart is a muscle, and it needs a good blood supply to keep it healthy.

As we get older, the smooth inner walls of the arteries that supply the blood to the heart can become damaged and narrow due to the build up of fatty materials, called plaque.

When an area of plaque breaks, blood cells and other parts of the blood stick to the damaged area and form blood clots. A heart attack occurs when a blood clot completely blocks the flow of blood and seriously reduces blood flow to the heart muscle. This also results in patients experiencing chest pain.

As a result, some of the heart muscle starts to die.

The longer the blockage is left untreated, the more the heart muscle is damaged. If the blood flow is not restored quickly, the damage to the heart muscle is permanent.

A heart attack is sometimes called a myocardial infarction (MI), acute myocardial infarction, coronary occlusion or coronary thrombosis.

In response to some quotes seeking preventive measures, I'll create a thread on it. kindly watch this space, as the link i will post here

Moving to the UK didn’t really know what to expect, I just had dreams and desire to change my life fortune. So when I landed at Heathrow I got my first scare when immigration told me to step aside after asking me why am I in the UK and who am I coming to see. Told them I’m not coming to see anyone but moving permanently to live with my wife (now ex) and they requested for her number and I gave. Then asked me where she is I told them she’s waiting for me at the arrival lounge. They delayed me for about 30mins but throughout the entire time I acted unworried coz I knew cameras were on me to observe my countenance.

Was just playing music with my Beats headsets and nodding my head to the rhythms, but I was worried inside me. I travelled with a residence permit and had all the confidence in-between the worries. So they later let me go and on getting at the arrival lounge saw madam and my brothers waiting for me, immediately I stepped out at Heathrow cold almost blew me off coz it was December period.

I was excited but the airport experience almost destabilised me. Sha thank God, my fortune has indeed changed forever. Now a naturalised citizen with a decent job and with an even promising future. No regrets whatsoever. The environment was a sight to behold. Nigeria would have killed my dreams.
I think Nigeria would have motivated you more rather than kill your dreams, that's what pushed you in the first place, to travel out, right?

I couldn't see any two-headed people and I wonder why our case was different. When I came back especially at MMA, I was depressed! Since then I have been to all the continents except Australia and South America. Currently in North America!
We all can help better our nation, you know.

please stop asking silly question
You don't need to make that point to anyone, let them think what they will, I lost an uncle I loved so much too, kept seeing him in my dreams for years, and each time I'd wake up sad, glaring and clear dreams o, but I got fed up and prayed about the dead and living not having any connection and even shouted out aloud for him to leave me alone and ever since then he's been scarce and I hadly see him, pray when you are uncomfortable.

Spoke with her 2 days ago.

What we provided her could not have sustained her for long though. About N250k or so.

I heard someone won N2m for her on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire also a couple of years back. I asked her whether she got that. She said she never did. Maybe she didnt understand what I was describing.

Although she has lost most of her children, there was still one that also spoke to me when I phoned her 2 days ago. Possibly the family also share these gifts with her.
or probably she gives them all of the monies, what mothers would do for their kids u wouldnt imagine, I'm almost sure they take a bigger chunk of the monies as she's old, my 2 cents!

See this one
Lemme break down d stats for u

Ss and se are the one generating money d most because they have d highest population in d country
Christians generally drink beer compared to their Muslim counterparts
Now ss is 77 billion, now this is attributed to oil money and d region having d highest percentage of Christians
Now se igbos
Se region is homogeneous
Now some Dundee can be saying ehn sw is lower than se then blah blah blah
Lemme break it down for u
Igbos largely Christian population of 38 million
Population of igbos in range of drinking is 18- 20 million at most
Now Yorubas 40 million population
Religion 50-50(more or less)
Yorubas Christian=20 million
Population of yoruba Christian drinking beer is lower than9 million
Yoruba Muslim just like u see in nw don't drink that much beer,so it 1.5million at most
So Yorubas drinking beer = 10.5 mullion
Igbos drinking beer = almost 20 million
Now compare both numbers
Igbos have no Muslims, so every body can drink beer same with south south
Now I know some dumb heads will start saying ehn, this shows we are 'lich'
Nope, this stats doesn't show anything, it just shows concentration of religion
Same reason why nw with highest population in d country is low to NE Nigeria
When u see a stats ,use your head and break it down
like you said, "use your head and break it down" was what I did and concurred, but in proving something u thought I had a different opinion to, you slightly insulted me by your first and last statement. Thanks for that.
Ps: when someone says something try to be sure before concluding & throwing shades!

Not to mention fuel icing, landing gear, skidding, aqua planning. too many problems for an aircraft to land in that kind of environment. except they designed a special plane to land there.....
