Politics / Re: Sanusi In Tears; Says Reforms Are Not A Northern Agenda! by vizion: 10:14am On May 16, 2010
oyb:

going by the arguments of the likes of paddl lo and davidif, i sincerely hope they are not posting from computers running windows - i mean - what business does a college dropout have with building the largest software maker in the world?

education can only take you so far.

soludo's phd and 'qualifications' did not imbue him with the character to do the right thing - he sat back and watched as ceos looted depositors funds.

Tell me brother -would Bill Gates hire another college drop out to be the head of microsoft??

Jokes Etc / Three-legged Chickens by vizion: 12:16am On Nov 07, 2008
A man was driving along a freeway when he noticed a chicken running alongside his car. He was amazed to see the chicken keeping up with him, as he was doing 50 mph. He accelerated to 60, and the chicken stayed right next to him. He sped up to 75 mph, and the chicken passed him. The man noticed that the chicken had three legs. So he followed the chicken down a road and ended up at a farm. He got out of his car and saw that all the chickens had three legs. He asked the farmer, "What's up with these chickens?" The farmer said "Well, everybody likes chicken legs, so I bred a three-legged bird. I'm going to be a millionaire." The man asked him how they tasted. The farmer said, "Don't know, haven't caught one yet."
Religion / Re: Pay Your Tithe Or Save A Relative's Life? by vizion: 7:10pm On Jun 25, 2008
i am a firm believer that "what ever u do to the least of my brothers u don unto me"

if the life being saved is a creation of God (whether born again, against, or not even born at all)

then it would be equivalent to paying your tithe in the church

i'm not saying we should use the money for our tithes to solve our personal probelms oh

Career / Re: Why Should NNPC And LNG Discriminate Between 2-1 And 2-2? by vizion: 4:46pm On Jan 31, 2007
this is a very ridiculous statement
what if they take 2:2 then those with 3rd class would say that they where left out
if the guy with a 2:1 does'nt have an advantage then tell me what is the essence of struggling to make a 2;1??
Politics / Re: Who Is Atiku Abubakar & Why Is Obj After Him? by vizion: 6:52pm On Jan 18, 2007
TerraCotta:

This is the kind of irrational OBJ hatred that I don't understand. What public office had Atiku held before he became OBJ's VP? OBJ had led the country once before, served as a founding member of Transparency International, and was even discussed as a possible Secretary General of the UN. Do you think Atiku--who's former claim to fame was his role in allowing some Northern noblemen to smuggle 53 suitcases unchecked into the country as a head of the customs service--has a resume that matches up to that? He was on the verge of being imprisoned by the Buhari/Idiagbon regime (another productive, albeit dictatorial duo) when they were overthrown by Babangida. Please show Atiku's political experience so I can understand which qualities Obasanjo found in him. Beyond Atiku's supposed stint in student government before working as a customs officer, his political life was shaped by Shehu Yar'Adua, who built the PDM movement that made Atiku relevant. Again, Yar'Adua was Obasanjo's deputy--how does this equate to Atiku being a better politician?

read the end of the above link and get ure facts right
atiku was a hero and not a villian
how and u claim that obj is a good politician and then turn around to say he was doing yar adua a favour by picking atiku. Good politicians don't do favours
Politics / Re: Can Someone Explain The 53 Suitcases Scandal To Me? by vizion: 6:44pm On Jan 18, 2007

from reading prof. soyinka paper i could tell that in the 53 suitcase saga, Atiku was a hero and not a villian as some people are trying to betray thim
this administration in a bid to prolong it self there was some clashes between obj and atiku
as atiku has refused to back the presidency in its evil plot they have decide to use black mail and character assasination against him
let us not be fooled at this if not we would be helping them achieve their evil deeds

Jokes Etc / Some Men Won't Learn by vizion: 11:13am On Jan 15, 2007
A husband and wife are getting ready for bed. The wife is standing in front of a full-length mirror taking a hard look at herself.

"You know, dear," she says, "I look in the mirror, and I see an old woman. My face is all wrinkled, my bosom is barely above my waist, and my bottom is hanging out a mile. I've got fat legs, and my arms are all flabby." She turns to her husband and says, "Tell me something positive to make me feel better about myself."

He studies hard for a moment thinking about it and then says in a soft, thoughtful voice, "Well, there's nothing wrong with your eyesight."

Services for the husband will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 at St. Anselm's Memorial Chapel.
