What was she expecting? Him to be faithful when he can get as many girls as he wants... |
Even though we lost, we did not lay down and let them roll over us.... Our defense could have been better and we were lacking cutting edge up front. I was proud of those boys! Oh if only we had a fully fit squad, we would have had a very competitive game. I see a bright future for our team. |
John Mikel Obi is set to move to Galatasaray and says he is confident that the Turkish side will agree a deal with Chelsea over a transfer fee. The Nigerian midfielder asked former Blues striker Didier Drogba for advice about moving to the club. Mikel says he has spent a long time at Chelsea and is looking forward to life in Istanbul. I'm very pleased with Galatasaray's offer,' Mikel told Sabah, a daily Turkish newspaper. 'I asked Drogba for advice and he told me that Istanbul is a fantastic city, that Galatasaray is a huge club and that I have to make the move. 'I have played at Chelsea for a long time and it's now time for me to leave. 'I'm still only 26 and it's great to receive an offer from a club (Galatasaray) playing Champions League football and doing well in the competition.' Mikel was a player who split opinions among fans - some hailed him for his defensive aptitude and performances in big games while others chastised him for his lack of attacking nous. Jose Mourinho signed him in 2006 after a protracted transfer saga which saw him on the brink of a move to Manchester United - it even progressed to the point he was pictured in their shirt at a press conference. FIFA ordered he move back to his side Lyn Oslo while the matter was resolved - but instead of letting the world football governing body settle the dispute, Chelsea decided to deal directly with United and the Norwegian side. They eventually settled on a £16million fee - £12m to United and £4m to Lyn. Personally I think this might be a good move for him and hopefully he gets a free role at Galatasaray. |
Wale Leemson: FIFA are full of cheat. Pedro's goal was an own goal too.No because the ball was heading towards goal. According to the rules if the shot is going on target and takes a deflection, the person who made the shot will be credited with the goal irrespective of the deflection... |

damosky12: arrant nonsence. Beating you in your Father's palour despite 1)THE MOTIVATIONS FROM UR GOVT 2)THE MONIES PROMISED UR HARAMBEES 3)THE LONG PREPARATIONS 4)THE NOISE AND SUPPORTS FROM UR FANS IN YOUR STADIUM 5) THE DESPIRATE STATE OF UR PLAYERS to mention a few. There is nothing equal about the match. We dominated you in class, pocession, skils, chances etc. Boy, We disgraced you in the precense of your president and the people of the world despite the determination, the boasting, the ranting, the braging etc. The Super Eagles disgraced you despite the fatigues from long travels they had. These obviously shows superiority. It means (1) We are no mates at all; We are very big brothers to you (2)We stand where you cant even aspire in 20 years (3) You (poster) are thinking as a fool if you think you still matched us.You sure hit the nail on the head and please remind him that we were missing KEY PLAYERS!! |

Honestly I believe each and everyone has a part to play. Teachers, Students, Parents and most importantly the Government!. When you go to our public schools, the conditions of the class-rooms, the facilities are all nothing to write home about. How can students learn when they do not have the tools to succeed. And hey what do our leaders do? They send their kids to foreign institutions because they KNOW the quality of education in the country is a big joke and apparently they are not ready to do anything about it. The teachers; honestly I believe Nigeria is blessed with awesome teachers who know their stuff in and out but are they motivated to give their all? How do you motivate them? Better Pay and benefits will motivate these teachers to give their all and make sure these students are equipped with the tools they need to succeed. The parents need to monitor the progress of their kids and help them with assignments; they need to keep them on the right path to success. The student himself needs to think about his or her future. Do you want to hawk pepper all your life? Do you want to be a mechanic who is outside everyday in the heat begging madam to give you more money so you can enjoy your weekend or you want to be a director in your office with the AC blasting signing documents everyday. Look I will not blame social media for anything, I believe common sense should prevail here; if you do not study, you do not pass. Its very simple so why act like its a complicated theory? Another role the government is not playing is creating jobs.... after graduating, these students should gain employment in the field of study. It hurts to know that favoritism is the only way to get a good job in Nigeria.. Abeg am tired of typing! |
Ogbeche77: Alaroye, na who ask you question? Or did anyone make it mandatory for you to open the page?Abi o lol.... u hit the nail on the head |

SMH, LTE is not even available around the world! Heck its not even available in some areas around America. Now we talking of 5G speeds... geez samsung |
I honestly think we need to rethink the education criteria. I would say anyone who is aspiring to be the president SHOULD/MUST at least have a University Degree, not polytech or whatever its called. If you ask me, knowledge acquired in school will definitely be useful when in power. A well educated president will be able to stand tall among his fellow world leaders, a well educated president would pick well qualified people to be part of his cabinet based on merit and not favoritism. A well qualified president will not marry a woman who cannot speak well in public without the citizens fearing for their lives because her grammatical errors are like bullets! Also I believe background checks should be conducted for anyone running for office of the president. Its about time we have someone who is QUALIFIED to do the job! |
