So he is just fielding player without any instructions and pls tell me which player keshi played out of position against congo bcs i dont understand your analogy'putting messi on CDM,will he be effective.

My reference is not even based on the match against Congo... but for starters Efe Ambrose is a liability at Right back, you do not need a UEFA license to know that. And yea I am sure our Nigerian league can get us a competent RB. Giving Mikel the CAM position too is hurting us, he is also a liability there, matter of fact he is a liability anywhere in the opponents half. Correct me if I am wrong, he played Emenike wide recently, strong bulky striker should be up front, not drifting wide. Why is he drifting wide? Maybe because he is not getting good supply of the ball, and there comes the need for a natural number 10.

when asked 'who is arguably the S.E all time best coach?' most of us will quickly say westerhof.
'what did he accomplish?'... afcon trophy and a 2nd round berth at the '94 world cup.
but we fail to see that keshi has achieved same within a shorter stay.

team keshi all the way

How old were you when Westerhof was coach?! He achieved that by playing good football, not huff and puff, hoping Musa does something spectacular. He had a solid TEAM! We do not have that anymore.

pls if you dont know football, you keep quiet.

He is speaking the truth! Football is not about fielding 11 players and tell them to do whatever they want. Stop watching football from that perspective. If you put Messi in CDM, will he be effective? No! Thats what you call tactics. Properly using the players at your disposal
Sports / Re: Should We Pardon Keshi For The Result Against Congo? by vokalguy(m): 1:43am On Nov 16, 2014
Nigerians are so funny, as soon as you beat a mediocre team you think all is well?! Keshi DOES NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT tactics. Nothing changed today. Honestly NOTHING changed at all... how many shots on goal did we have? How often did we break them down? Lets keep it real with ourselves, we were poor! We have been poor literally all year so why are we getting excited because we finally won a game by a 2 goal margin? Don't you think it is a shame the African Champions have to always leave it late? Some teams have already qualified with GAMES to spare... common guys wake up and smell the coffee, your big boss is not good enough. Its not rocket science!

FIFA should arrest the two of them and luck them up[/size]

First of all I am a chelsea fan so I could care less what you say about Wenger. Now lets talk about your post, how dumb of you to put Wenger & Keshi in the same sentence?! And please learn the difference between 'lock' and 'luck' Oh btw one thing I could definitely agree with you on is the fact that Keshi does not know what the word 'tactics' is

Curious to know the company that will be paying for this new foreign coach.... anyway there are some things this new NFF boss needs to do.

1. Please Hire a coach with credibility, not a mediocre coach who is barely known outside the shores of his country.

2. The contract with Adidas expires at the end of the year, they are not keen on renewing it (not as if they made good kits for us anyway). I think they should start negotiating with a kit manufacturer that will take us to the next level.... I will prefer Puma, one thing they will guarantee is quality kit and availability of these kits.

3. Give the new manager all the freedom he needs, let him pick his coaching staff. Do not force him to work with someone he does not want to work with, it will only lead to failure.

4. Have a freaking recognized National team Stadium. England plays in Wembley, not Old Trafford, not Emirates! Today you play in Calabar, tomorrow Abuja, that nonsense needs to stop!

MLS is a league where players go to retire. No one take the US league serious. I don't think any Nigeria coach would want to bench Mikel because we don't have a good replacement for him. However Mikel has to step up his game

You might have a point about MLS being a league where players go to retire, but still its not a walk in the park you know. I have been following MLS a lot this past year and I have to say it has improved drastically. More top class players (even though most of them are past it), more difficult games, crazy fans (especially seattle sounders). If Emenike can be called up, if all these unknown strikers can be called up, I think Martins also deserves a call up, afterall he is still the most in-form striker we have. And as for Mikel, since when have we been talking about him stepping up his game? I hate to say this but he will never be the #10 for the SE, he is a defensive midfielder who should stick to protecting his back four. He offers NOTHING in attack.

Foreign Technical Adviser, preferably Dutch. I love their 'total football' style. We have good attackers and I will say our defence is pretty solid. Midfield could be better though.

what club is Mba playing for now. I guess the reason Keshi left him out from the squad is because he is not playing for a top club. National coaches choose players based on their club performance

Mind explaining the Mikel & Martins situation then? Martins is on fire for Seattle Sounders, probably the most in-form striker we have at the moment. Mikel barely gets 90 mins under his belt at Chelsea.... he comes in to close out games. I completely disagree with your comment

I understand Ihenacho as he is very young but Martins deserves to be playing for the super eagles.... we are suppose to pick players based on current form not sentiments, clear example is the constant inclusion of Mikel... I have said it numerous times.... Keshi is not capable of taking the Eagles to the next level...
