safarigirl:I will believe you on Simi's quality when I see her performing on the continental and world stage with the best of the best like tiwa does. Of what use is your so called quality when it's only good enough to make you a local champion? Are you saying that Jay Z and Beyonce that signed Tiwa to roc nation don't know anything about music? Let me see Simi's name among those performing at a really big event outside Nigeria like the one in the pic below then we can start talking. Till then, Simi remains a local champion while Tiwa is an international superstar
|
safarigirl:Which of Simi's songs is evergreen? Simi is just another good artiste but you can't compare her to tiwa. Tiwa is ruling the African continent while simi is basically a local champion. And who is Juliana kanya whatever you called her? It only speaks volumes if we need to google her to know who she is, people in Uganda don't need to Google Tiwa Savage to know who she is, just mention her name and they know her because she's that good. |
enemmo:You are wrong on this one, Tiwa Savage's stage craft is actually top notch |

Members of the Congress of Northern Nigeria Christians (CNNC) have cautioned against Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s decision to designate parts of Christian dominated areas in Southern Kaduna as emirates, saying the move may engender more crisis. The group urged El-Rufai to immediately withdraw the state government’s plans, as the country prepares for the 2019 general elections. A statement by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Larry Joseph Yammai, noted that: “CNNC underscores the continued inability of Governor El-Rufai to manage the crisis and killings in the state. “The governor’s recent decision to re-designate four chiefdoms to emirates is not only a deliberate act of violating the common identity and heritage of the chiefdoms but a blatant attempt at Islamisation in Lere, Kagarko, Kajuru and Kauru. “CNNC condemns the decision in the strongest terms and demands that the status quo of the chiefdoms be maintained, as it will appear that he has just succeeded in sowing seeds of discord that could bear catastrophic fruits in the future.” It lamented the rapidly deteriorating security situation across the country, especially in Benue, Plateau, Nasarawa where herdsmen killings are rampant and the Northeast being ravaged by Boko Haram terrorists. “Despite acclaimed government’s responses at various tiers, CCNC is worried that certain stakeholders are still firing the embers of discord. CNNC, therefore, condemns the recent call by Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) that the Adamawa five must die.” An Adamawa State High Court in Yola had recently condemned some Christians namely: Alex Amos, Alheri Phanuel, Holy Boniface, Jerry Gideon and Jari Sabagi to death by hanging. The CCNC further stressed that the group was also concerned about the recent Federal Government’s proposal on the implementation of the National Livestock Transformation Plan without consulting the various stakeholders, particularly the farming communities where CNNC has a robust membership. It, therefore, urged President Muhammadu Buhari to embark on a complete overhaul of Nigeria’s security architecture for better results since loss of lives had become a daily occurrence and obviously unstoppable. “CNNC would want to remind the President of the outstanding issue of Leah Sharibu, who was among the 112 Dapchi girls taken by Boko Haram, but who is still being held by her captors because of her Christian faith,” the statement added. https://t.guardian.ng/news/el-rufais-decision-to-establish-emirates-in-southern-kaduna-will-engender-crisis/
