My dear friend, i can finally observe symptoms of trepidation in your composure which is translating into geometrical proportions of an uncontrollable state of confusion. If you may recall, you chose without being coerced to disregard my first post which thereafter led to an amiable exchange of posts between you and I on this hilarious thread. Thus you started the pestering. I am glad to see smileys in your post which evidently show that you are learning. You see one of the characteristics I am noted for is my brutal honesty and unwillingness to curry favor or care about people's disposition to the truth about me. So I will say it again, some of my threads on NL are outright lies. If you think it makes me less moral, too bad for you (I really don't care). If people will not take me serious, too bad for them. Besides, I am sure that over 50% of threads on NL are falsehoods. So who is deceiving who? And the only other reason I replied to this post is that like a sick dog, you have gone back to your vomit. Your latest post is a far departure from your penultimate one, which was clear and relatively straight to the point. That is the problem: you are, I believe, trying too hard to put in "big" words that do not necessarily communicate something new or add to your position; instead, they impede clarity. Check it yourself and you will see. |
Why the Bleep is this on the front page? ![]() |
I stumbled on a thread of yours while surfing through the sections of this beloved forum and I immediately identified the reason why your capacity to understand is limited. Incessant abuse of your body organs will result in continuous fatigue of the brain. I concur with your conclusions that I definitely cannot recognize what I am doing wrong and the reason is you have failed to honour my request. Barring vituperations from co-nairalanders, kindly HIGHLIGHT words for clarifications or synonyms. Until then you will only but see mistakes. A perfect example is a man with a blurred vision.Okay since you will not stop pestering me, I will oblige you of the little proofreading skills I have. By the way, the fact you do not agree with me should not necessitate your use of ad hominem attacks on my person. I have posted several outright falsehoods on NL so my previous posts are not a good gauge of my personality or intellectual abilities. On a second thought, you latest post is so improved from your previous ones that I will give you the challenge to discover for yourself what you have done wrong before I offer any suggestions. Trust me, this will be more intellectually fulfilling for you.Best Regards ![]() |
^^^^ Exactly ooooh. So if anyone in the 70% of potential Albert Einsteins and Phillip Emegwalis does not have school face, they should settle for being Oga Fatai the mechanic? Right? |
@paddy_lo Still awaiting your reply. |
@ mukina and iice I use all that you love in this world to beg and warn you. If you do not want trouble, go and reopen my thread. Or else , |
@chiogo I don't know what it is, but it is probably better than the smallest HBCU in New England. What is your major and classification? I hope I am not being intrusive. |

I swear they dont pay me nada. . lol wish they did though(cause it could be hard out here for a p.i.m.p. . . )Your position is good in theory. It assumes that GEJ is unlike other politicians and has the best interest of Nigerians at heart. The problem is that GEJ has not done anything to give us a reason to give him the benefit of the doubt. It seems you are acting on faith. In terms of raw facts, GEJ is not a significant departure from OBJ or Yaradua in terms of is approach to politics and what can be inferred as his disposition to the citizenry i.e. many politicians do not see citizens as the repositories of political power. Except you know something we all do not know, I will say your optimism about GEJ is rather unfounded. Is there some insight you have that informs your disposition? Or have been consulting in the traditional way? ![]() |
Universities: I would mostly privatize this, and grant autonomy to the existing public schools, of course with firm guidelines in place. Nonsense ideas like post-UME would not be allowed, but I will encourage partnerships with corporate bodies, and allow them to charge whatever fees they like. I'll also audit them regularly , and grant only provisional accreditation for certain courses. Anybody who wants to go to university in my Nigeria, should pay for it. Of course, this should be adequately supported by government scholarships, bursaries, and student loans.Very elitist remark. You people that have not seen poverty should stop trying to makes rules for the rest of us. If your idea is implemented, at least 70% of potential university students will not go to school. |
Do you understand the word REPRIMAND? That is exactly the motive of my earlier post. I sincerely believe this would not be too big a grammar for you and your cohorts to understand. Kindly define clarity? The fonts used were not maligned nor misconstrued for effective understanding as a simple piece of written english. Should you have queries or require further clarifications, please do not hesitate to highlight the affected words for due explanations where necessary. You just made the same mistakes again. Without trying to be insulting, your case is almost hopeless because you cannot even see what you are doing wrong. Please read "On Writing Well" by William Zinsser. |
It not an avenue to embezzle because if these GOVT owned institutions are not well capitalized they cannot perform their functions wellI find your blanket support for every GEJ policy very fishy. HOw much dem dey pay you? |
@ Becomrich0,Seriously, this makes little or no sense. I do not know Jakumo, but I know he has a reputation on NL. However, the sample of Jakumo's writing that Becomerich used is a pathetic example of writing. And you are about just as bad in your defense of Jakumo. Some of the secrets to good writing are clarity and proper usage of words, something both you and Jakumo seem incapable of accomplishing. |
@iice abeg why u lock my thread now? |
