Something tells me you are unaware that US owes China more money than it can afford to repay. I think you need to do your homework. And manufacturing and innovation are two different things. Innovation in itself doesn't generate money unless it is combined with manufacturing and very few countries on earth can mass manufacture as cheap as China can. US isn't one of them AgricSalt: Lol. Do you really believe that China is superior to America in manufacturing and invention? China will need many more decades to meet up!
China is just a mass production house for the world, because of their cheap labour and the fact that their government allows them to actually spoil the earth ecology by their unregulated production procedures. |

So what is your take on Buhari and the present finance minister making illegal deductions in hundreds of millions of dollars? Or is that ok by you? koboko69: I have said it times without number. Reno has a target audience and we all know who those people are. In his deliberate mischief he forgot to tell us the exact reason Amechi spare headed the fight that money had to be shared. Everytime there is a FEC meeting, governors discovered Jonathan and Okonjo had tampered with the money giving different excuses of the other. The one that broke the camels back was when Okonjo claimed to had withdrawn 1 trillion for subsidy debts, and claimed FAAC knew about it which they came up to deny. Okonjo then corrected her lies and said Jonathan gave her permission to withdraw the money. Now tell me who will keep saving when the treasurer keeps stealing from the money? Even if governors shared their money....what of the larger percentage belonging to the FG. Whatever happened to saving their own share? Why didnt FG continue saving her own share even after? Or did the governors also stopped the FG from saving her own share? Reno and your likes are only fooling themselves |

If not that you are daft you would have understood that he recounted how Amaechi and co got the courts to declare SWF as being illegal and forced Goodluck to share the money. I am well aware of this drama when it happened so unless you are a teen then I expect you should have been aware when the court case was on. It's always important to read before commenting. This letter was directed at bad eggs within the SARS not the entire SARS as a whole. There is a difference. One of the things that has destroyed the ability of the black man to engage in any form of critical thinking is the notion that a colleague or superior cannot be questioned. Such an attitude is unknown in the West. As a matter of fact the Israeli army is built on a foundation that junior officers are encouraged to challenge the thought processes of their superiors. That way there is no room for fools in their army. NwaAmaikpe:

Quite unprofessional of a police PRO to publicly disagree with the judgement of a police department.

The Poster raised quite a number of points of which you only addressed two and took quite some time to do so. You did not do a thorough job of rebutting the first as you didn't explain why the US is so tough. It is because The US market requires you sign up with a carrier to sell and obviously if the carrier's demands are heavy small firms may not be able to get in. By the way, Xiaomi plans to enter US in 2019 You made a good rebuttal on your second though about alternative phones by mentioning the price differential between the average Techno or Infinix and the Majors. But what you left out was the fact that the flagships of these two brands costs as much as some phones from Xiaomi, Huawei etc. The most important point which the OP mentioned which you completely ignored was the possibility that Transsion is lying about the specs on its phones. I would love to hear your take on this. Thanks greenhulk: Hmm, You can't live without me u had to mention my name. Anyway let me make this brief.
Yes Tecno, Infinix and Itel don't market their phones in the US, I don't even think they intend to, at least not in the nearest future. The US smartphone market is saturated and the US are critical of Chinese phones. Tecno is just a small company. Before u attack Tecno, first answer this question. Why is it that Xioami, Oppo, Huawei, ZTE don't sell their phones in the US. These are bigger names than Tecno. Aha.. so there is ur answer. So if those big guns can't enter the US, who come be small Tecno?
And to answer ur questions about alternative phones to buy.. first I need to make it clear. I don't use any Transsion phone. Though my wife uses Infinix hot 4 Pro which has been serving her since 2016. I also bought an infinix hot s same time she bought hers which was my second phone while Galaxy s6 was my main phone. I've long sold mine. It was a decent phone, though I had to change the charging port once, and my wife has also changed her charging port, but phone is still serving her. Now that we have gotten that out of the way, as a lot of people already know, my daily driver right now is LG V20 which has been phenomenal and I don't have any reason to change it right now. But there are lots of things people look for in a phone. Because I'm a heavy user doesn't mean everyone has to be a heavy user. Because I can buy a used flagship doesn't mean everyone has to buy a used phone, some people want their phones brand new.
Let's see some of the phones u mentioned LG G5: u said its 50k, show me the shop where it is sold for 50k brand new. Good specs, poor design, crap battery. LG G6: Again show me where it is sold, LG didn't even sell this phone in Nigeria. The used one is sold for around 100k and above
Samsung galaxy s6: I can't even recommend this for my enemy. Very poor battery life, still over 50k for used one Samsung galaxy s7/edge: Brand new one is still over 170k, used one between 80-120k HTC 10: This one no even dey market, show me where it is sold HTC U11: bro are u just mentioning phones for the sake of it? HTC didn't sell this phone in Nigeria, the used one is still over 100k Sony Xperia XZ and XZ premium: I give up. Do u have any of these for sale at 60k? I will buy 3
I know u can order for these phones from overseas but how many people do u think have the time to order phones. So someone cannot enter a shop and buy a phone to start using immediately again abi? Me I don't have a problem ordering phone any product, but everyone cannot be like me, majority still prefer to enter shop buy what they want. And not everyone will like used phones. |

As this is a faceless forum you are at liberty to be plain in your speech. There will be no fallout as nobody knows your house. Try and say what you want to say without being ambiguous is my point. Who do you feel is behind all these killings? State your opinion Greenville990: It is quite remarkable that the protests recognizes that both CHRISTIANS ands MUSLIMS are on the receiving end of the blood letting.
It is also commendable that we are questioning the authority whose primary objective is to ensure SECURITY OF LIVES.
We are in a country where bloodletting is used to score political points by the opposition instead of charging forces together to stop the killings.
None of "them" is innocent.
Remember, GEJ is a Christian.....to topple his govt. Boko haram had to kill a lot of muslims. PMB got sympathy votes
To topple PMB, Fulani herdsmen will have to kill a lot of Christians.

Someone mentioned days of old and your response is to mention celebrity women who reigned in the mid to late 20th century. So that is your understanding of the term "days of old". Lol That's why online conversations are so chaotic because one in his 50s may be arguing with a teenager who thinks they have seen it all. SoapQueen: While "literature " on how industrious African women of the 20th century were, is scarce, I would like to let you know that their white counterparts were nothing close to what you mentioned above.
Think of women like Elizabeth Taylor and the rest, these women married more than 5 times and were known to value their diamonds more than men. Cher and Diana Ross are not on talking terms till date because of a man.
So, who exactly are these women of old that you are heaping praises on? |
