I see you avoiding all the facts in his message about corruption under Buhari Keep going! seunmsg: Sadly, this crap will also make front-page because it is coming from Reno. I don't understand why Nairaland moderators always give Reno's usual rubbish so much attention. Every of his twitter or Facebook post must make Nairaland front page.
If Jolly Nyame and Dariye had been set free, reno's reaction would have been that Buhari let them off the hook because they joined APC. Now that they were convicted, the new song is that Jonathan and Yar'adua should take the credit. At this rate, Jonathan and PDP will start claiming credit for Buhari life if care is not taken.
PDP completed nothing under Jonathan. Even the PDP Secretariat they raised billions of Naira for was abandoned. They stole the funds meant for every project and programs and now want to take credit for the hard work of another person. If not for the fact that shame is a very scarce commodity in Nigeria, every member of the PDP, most especially those that served in the failed Jonathan administration should all cover their faces in shame and never ever be seen or heard in public again. |

What works elsewhere doesn't work in Nigeria so stop with the analysis. What will surely happen is that the majors will agree on a very high price range and each will sell within that range. Most people think oil business is like gsm so they erroneously believe that prices will fall like gsm. Both industries have different DNA theoldpretender: So you want buisness people to sell kerosene at a loss?
The reason why our downstream sector is in a mess is because government controls prices.
And as a result, people cannot make profits as they should..leading to scams, lack of money to fix refienreis, etc..
Better we deregulate the whole thing...and allow marketers sell kerosene at the price they want to sell it. Prices will shoot up, but....investment will flow in,and prices will eventually fall because competition.
And all those subsidy scams will stop...because who wants to be doing scam when you can earn much more under deregulation? |

You are a lion. Carry Go! MartinCorridon: Dear Wandeay, check this link, but this is the full content. I experienced same and showed FedEx pepper!
https://www.nairaland.com/4543884/scammed-60k-import-duty-courier#68201288
This is to increase awareness on my experience with courier companies (FEDEX in this case)
The FedEx affair....
1. I bought items worth 180,044 Naira, I was told Nigerian Customs wanted N60,634.84 as custom charges (Email of January 29th) within 5 days. I paid on 31st January, 2018, i got the item on February 6th and demanded for a Customs Receipt (Email of February 7th),
· The fictitious duty was paid only AFTER I had received my package and AFTER I raised alarm.
· Receipt showed disparity in the amount paid into the Customs (N55,392 vs 60,634.84)
· “Airport taxes” were claimed and covered by a FedEx receipt when the only body responsible for issuing such receipts is the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN)
I raised up the issue with a Team Lead who felt ignoring me would make me forget the issue.
2. I wrote to FedEx Nigeria Senior Management, providing ample evidence of the fraud and extortion by their staff, hoping for a simple solution – refunding the fraudulent charge in full and ending it there.
3. I started receiving an avalanche of harassing phone calls at odd hours (is this a FedEx policy?) culminating with a coercive threat call by a Director at 19.08 hrs on 6th March, 2018 (NOTE – The telecommunications provider can be subpoenaed for more details when we go to court) He was sorely mistaken, it just made me angrier.
4. I made covert investigations with legal counsel and I wanted to present evidence in America. I was strongly advised that the international offices would just cover up the case that I should reply to Homeland Security and FBI instead. I couldn’t unfortunately because I have some important issues to attend to in Nigeria.
I then escalated to 17 FedEx International Staff; mostly country managers about the fraud and extortion ring being perpetrated by FedEx Nigeria. I sent the mails at 5.30am and by 9.00am i got 17 "MAILER DAEMON" messages like all the messages weren't delivered (cover-up even at international level).
I had promised that i would escalate the case to the Presidency and the Head of Nigerian Customs. I received more threats and a letter from their lawyers.
They felt i was cowed, but they don't know i fully intend my money to be refunded.
HOW CAN ONE SEND A PETITION THAT IS SURE TO LAND AT THE DESK OF IBRAHIM MAGU (EFCC) AND HAMMED ALI (CUSTOMS)?
This is just the beginning..... |

Do you have this book on softcopy? qanda: Consider buying a plot of land in a choice area in Lagos... oh.. You said quick return! Again find below article culled from Josh Kaufman, "The Personal MBA" to help you evaluate the market you choose to invest your money. You can source valuable Business/Career Books from Q and A App. Q and A App is available for downloads on Google Playstore.
The Ten Ways to Evaluate a Market provide a back-of-the-napkin method you can use to identify the attractiveness of any potential market. Rate each of the ten factors below on a scale of 0 to 10, where 0 is extremely unattractive and 10 is extremely attractive. When in doubt, be conservative in your estimate:
1.Urgency—How badly do people want or need this right now? (Renting an old movie is typically low urgency; seeing the fi rst showing of a new movie on opening night is high urgency, since it only happens once.)
2.Market Size—How many people are actively purchasing things like this? (The market for underwater basket weaving courses is verysmall; the market for cancer cures is massive.)
3.Pricing Potential—What is the highest price a typical purchaser would be willing to spend for a solution? (Lollipops sell for $0.05;aircraft carriers sell for billions.)
4.Cost of Customer Acquisition—How easy is it to acquire a new customer? On average, how much will it cost to generate a sale, in both money and effort? (Restaurants built on high-traffi c interstate highways spend little to bring in new customers. Government contractors can spend millions landing major procurement deals.)
5.Cost of Value Delivery—How much would it cost to create and deliver the value offered, both in money and effort? (Delivering fi les via the Internet is almost free; inventing a product and building a factory costs millions.)
6.Uniqueness of Off er—How unique is your offer versus competing offerings in the market, and how easy is it for potential competitors to copy you? (There are many hair salons, but very few companies that offer private space travel.)
7.Speed to Market—How quickly can you create something to sell? (You can offer to mow a neighbor’s lawn in minutes; opening a bank can take years.)
8.Up-Front Investment—How much will you have to invest before you’re ready to sell? (To be a housekeeper, all you need is a set of inexpensive cleaning products. To mine for gold, you need millions to purchase land and excavating equipment.)
9.Upsell Potential—Are there related secondary offers that you couldalso present to purchasing customers? (Customers who purchase razors need shaving cream and extra blades as well; buy a Frisbee, and you won’t need another unless you lose it.)
10.Evergreen Potential—Once the initial offer has been created, how much additional work will you have to put into it in order to continue selling? (Business consulting requires ongoing work to get paid;a book can be produced once, then sold over and over as is.)
When you’re done with your assessment, add up the score. If the score is 50 or below, move on to another idea—there are better places to invest your energy and resources. If the score is 75 or above, you have a very promising idea—full speed ahead. Anything between 50 and 75 has the potential to pay the bills, but won’t be a home run without a huge investment of energy and resources, so plan accordingly. |

A rather weak argument considering that all Nigerian politicians(including the sinless APC members) have thugs in their employ. From Tinubu who is a father of dangerous thugs, to Oshio who once harboured a notorious killer in govt house when the police were after him till he could bury the case. So my point is let's see some Buhari supporters arrested. Not just his opposition abiodunalasa: Yes, there's political issue between Saraki and Buhari.
And yes, Saraki has "good boys" he's providing money and fire arms for political purposes.
