PoliticsRe: Fola Adeola Is Nuhu Ribadu’s Running Mate by Wadeoye(m): 11:12pm On Feb 21, 2011
Benue state where people were carrying Buhari placard when GEJ visited. This was why IG banned opposition poster at political campaigns locations.
PoliticsRe: NL Official Presidential Opinion Poll by Wadeoye(m): 10:57pm On Feb 21, 2011
All those votes for Ribadu are from Nigerians abroad - US and UK. That is where Ribadu is popular. Of course we all know he can't even win in Adamawa state.

I am sure between today and tomorrow, you will see different figures.

They will be shocked in the SW when ACN sees our votes going to CPC - talk to educated indipendent minded people in South West who want a working system, they will tell you CPC is the way.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Strikes Deal With Atiku, Ibb, Gusau by Wadeoye(m): 6:22pm On Feb 21, 2011
Visionless man - stricking deal with all manners of people and at the same time promising the dump heads among us he will move Nigeria forward. How?
PoliticsRe: I Am Voting Buhari Bakare by Wadeoye(m): 11:17pm On Feb 20, 2011
My vote goes to BB for presidential and Fashola for Gov - we need change in Nigeria!

For those that dont cherish change, vote for any other candidate. However, we will not allow you to rig our vote.
PoliticsRe: Goodluck Vs Buhari by Wadeoye(m): 10:56pm On Feb 20, 2011
Of course BB will win. I will vote for the combination.

How I wish election day is tomorrow.
PoliticsRe: Flee When I Take Over - Buhari Tells The Looters by Wadeoye(m): 10:26pm On Feb 20, 2011
BB has won my vote and that of my family, friends, etc
PoliticsRe: April Polls: Igbo Threaten Pdp, Jonathan by Wadeoye(m): 9:58pm On Feb 20, 2011
I dont understand what these Igbo people think they are. Igbo more than Yoruba in Lagos? How?

Where are they in Lagos? - Ayobo, Ipaja, Dopemu, Agege, Ikorodu, Ogba, Mushin, Ojuelegba, Epe, Badagary, Isheri, Ikotun, Egbeda,

The population of Igbo here is not more than 20% of the population of Lagos.

If there population is anything above 20%, why have we not seen so many Igbo cancellors, chairmen, honorables, etc in Lagos?

Let all of them vote for GEJ, that will not give GEJ more than 15% of the vote in SW.
PoliticsRe: Presidential Debate - Battle Of The Campaigners by Wadeoye(m): 9:33pm On Feb 20, 2011

PoliticsRe: Abacha: We Have Lost Faith In Buhari by Wadeoye(m): 9:52am On Feb 20, 2011
Beaf, etc have shown again their lack of morality. Any upright and right thinking person should be happy that Abacha name does not resurface again in our political life.

Abacha can go into PDP - sure they will jump at him.

PoliticsRe: With Buhari In Power- There Will Be No Nairaland, Saharareporters Etc. by Wadeoye(m): 1:22am On Feb 20, 2011
@oyb, I complete agree with you that age may not be that important but what level of reasoning do you expect from a kid of 5 years.
PoliticsRe: With Buhari In Power- There Will Be No Nairaland, Saharareporters Etc. by Wadeoye(m): 12:50am On Feb 20, 2011
@againstGEJ, if you want people to listen to your argument, you don't use the words/statement from a corrupt person (IBB) to bring down a disciplinarian. You mentioned in your previous post that "why did IBB overthrew him if he was, ". Even those that will end up not voting for Buhari will not see IBB overthrowing Buhari as a proof that Buhari was a bad guy. So, your argument here is childish.

The above is the reason I said we need to know the age bracket of the people we are discussing with on Nairaland - these are serious national issues for God sake.
PoliticsRe: Support Ribadu: Donate To The Campaign : Http://ribadu2011.com/donate/ by Wadeoye(m): 12:30am On Feb 20, 2011
It is a shame that some people can come here and start comparing Ribadu with Obama. I keep asking, who is Ribadu? This is the most controversial person I have ever seen but majority of Nigerians are lazy at thinking, they get carried away easily.

Ribadu was EFCC chairman when OBJ was executing his 3rd term plan with billions of naira been given out to legislators as bribe. I can still remember Montu and the drama in the two houses. It took Nnamani and other good people to stop OBJ evil ambition. While we were on the battle field, Ribadu was looking the other way chasing those that were against OBJ's ambition in the name of fighting corruption. Unfortunately many poor Nigerians believed him because of course we have been battered too much by the monster called corruption. Ribadu did not see the millions of naira given to legislators even when people volunteered to provide evidence. Ribadu did no see any of the fraud that Iwu perpetrated while he was INEC chairman - contract scams, etc.

Even after Ribadu left office, I expected him to say something about OBJ third term ambition and at least condem it - he didn't. To Ribadu, OBJ is a good guy.

Whoever gives this guy money is just wasting his money.
PoliticsRe: With Buhari In Power- There Will Be No Nairaland, Saharareporters Etc. by Wadeoye(m): 12:08am On Feb 20, 2011
@againstGEJ, I initially thought we were exchanging views with people that have got something sensible to say, I am sorry but you disappointed me when you started using IBB's opinion/address to judge Buhari. Who is IBB in the history of this country? It seems we are wasting time here discussing serious national issues with kids.

I will advice Nairaland to create room for contributors' picture so we dont dissipate energy on responses from Tunfulus.
PoliticsRe: Reasons Why You Shouldnt Vote For Goodluck Jonathan. by Wadeoye(m): 11:41pm On Feb 19, 2011
Your headline looks strange because I have not seen something like this for a while.

There no reason why anybody should vote for GEJ, GEJ and his godfather know this - sure you also know. So, don't waste our time along with your own.

Delete this tread because it will only attrack backlash from Nigerians.

Of course, BB is the team if we need change in Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Eyes Northwest, Southwest 33 Million Votes by Wadeoye(m): 11:31pm On Feb 19, 2011
Most of the people on this Nairaland are like foreigners who know nothing about the country and the happenings therein. How will Ikengawo say North Central and North East are in firm control of PDP? Who told you that? and where did you read it?

The same GEJ/PDP were stoned by the people in Nasarawa (North Central) when he was there to flag off his campaign.

18 political parties protested his visit to Benue (North Central) and it took the police to supress the protests.

His campign rally in North East was nothing to write home about. What are we talking about?

Now GEJ is saying he doesnt want press coverage.
PoliticsRe: What If Gej Wins? by Wadeoye(m): 11:13pm On Feb 19, 2011
GEJ can only intimidate members of his party. Any attempt to intimidate anybody during the general election will back fire. People will vote freely and their votes must count.

I am waiting to see how GEJ will defeat BB combination in a free and fair poll! It is getting clearer by the day that their so called block vote may only come from South South - 7m out of 67m votes that we are expecting.
BusinessRe: IMF Proposes Devaluation Of Naira by Wadeoye(m): 3:05pm On Feb 19, 2011
Why will naira not be devaluated? What is this visionless government doing about our GDP? We have crude oil in abundant but we still import refined petroluem products and everybody is happy. We import virtaully everything we use - how will naira not be devalued? Go to Dubai, China, etc and see the level importation has got to. You will pity this country. Even our president no longer spend naira - it is USD for transport fare, primary election "kola" to delegates, etc - have you not seen Atiku's allegation against the president?
PoliticsRe: N300m Bridge Collapses In Enugu by Wadeoye(m): 2:56pm On Feb 19, 2011
Another manifestation of corruption - we are in a world where bridges built in 1950s are still rock solid. In Nigeria, bridges are giving in a few months after construction.
PoliticsRe: Nobody Should Rig For Me – Jonathan ! by Wadeoye(m): 2:51pm On Feb 19, 2011
@honeric01, Good very short insight from you. GEJ behaves more or less like "Tunfulu" - a new born baby in Yoruba language.
PoliticsRe: Nobody Should Rig For Me – Jonathan ! by Wadeoye(m): 1:03pm On Feb 19, 2011
@1025,

I am telling you that we vote for personality here and not party - if a party presents people of strong personality, definitely they have a chance. PDP will never be popular here because of the people in the party - OBJ, Anenih, Aloa Akala, etc. In a free and fair election that you will witness come April, PDP will lose Ogun and Oyo otherwise, there will be war in those two states. We all know OBJ can't even deliver the polling boot in front of his house in a free contest. In 2007, Buhari won in Ogun state according to Supreme court ruling and the samething in Oyo state. We will repeat that this time around and it will be a little different in that people are more determined this time around.

Ask the journalists who have been writing nonsense about Buhari in SW and even South East - they will share with you the attack/repremand they are getting from people here through email, sms and phone calls - they couldnt believe the backlash. Ask them to share their mailbox with you or SMS received - you will see how crazy people are about the BB ticket even though campaign has not started. When people say Tinubu Tinubu, I say to them, we are not area boys or illitrates that anybody can push around.
PoliticsRe: Nobody Should Rig For Me – Jonathan ! by Wadeoye(m): 12:25pm On Feb 19, 2011
@Becomrichn, forget about Dele Momondu - people don't even know the guy is contesting talkless of considering voting for him. I have said it again, CPC will get more votes from South West than any other parties including the misguided Tinubu's party (ACN). When the time comes, you will see. We are the Yorubas and we know what Yorubas normally stand for - thousands of Tinubu can't tell us who to vote for. Why didn't he (Tinubu) go ahead and present another candidate instead of Fashola as he initially attempted? He saw the hand writting that Lagosians are very enlightened people who can't be pushed around.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Pledges N500bn To Boost Economy Of S-east by Wadeoye(m): 8:58am On Feb 15, 2011
This man is despirate for S/E votes - this is indirect bribery and corruption.

The same went ahead and created 9 universities and released billions of naira for their take-off even when the existing universities are ill equiped.

This is to say the least poor leadership and shortsightedness on the part of GEJ - and his advisers.
PoliticsRe: ACN-Ribadu/Ngige, How Feasible? by Wadeoye(m): 9:00pm On Feb 14, 2011
Tinubu is the one pushing for Ribadu to contest to spoil Buhari's chance of wining because the later refused to accept Tinubu as VP. They know they can't win even if Ribadu picks Ojukwu as his running mate.
PoliticsRe: Many Killed In Goodluck Campaign In Port Harcourt by Wadeoye(m): 7:21pm On Feb 13, 2011
INEC Voters Registration figures.

- South South = 7million
- South East = 7million
- South West = 18 million
- North West = 18 million
- North Central = 8million
- North East = 8million

I don't know why a group with only 7million votes (if they return all) are making noise and killing themselves before the election just because one of their own is contesting.

With one man one vote, there is no way Jonathan will win and those people, I am sorry, have only died in vain.
PoliticsRe: Many Killed In Goodluck Campaign In Port Harcourt by Wadeoye(m): 10:40am On Feb 13, 2011
It is unfortunate. The question is, assuming these people were alive, what would they have benefitted from GEJ presidency/PDP rule? I am sorry to say that these people died for nothing.

May their souls rest in peace.
PoliticsRe: Nasarawa Protesters Hurl Stones At Jonathan’s Convoy by Wadeoye(m): 9:21pm On Feb 10, 2011
@KBrown

I wasnt a kid at the time Buhari was head of state. It was only corrupt politicians like Imaru Dikko, drug traffickers, unscrupulous businessmen, and other people who were not law abiding that had it rough.

If ones father wasn't one of those hopelessly corrupt policians or a drug trafficker, I don't undertstand why somebody will oppose Buhari's ambition in a country that is being held down by corruption.
Christianity EtcRe: Adeboye Warns Corrupt Politicians by Wadeoye(m): 3:26pm On Feb 10, 2011
How about corrupt pastors in the christian community? How do you plan to handle them? The situation is getting worse daily.

Sorry, your church is not an exception sir.
PoliticsRe: Apologise To The South West People Now- Ribadu Tells Jonathan. by Wadeoye(m): 3:08pm On Feb 10, 2011
GEJ should forget about apologizing to us as it will not change anything. He has already told us where to put our votes.

Our votes go to Buhari/Bakare,
