On their way to government house. People lined the road from the airport and following the convoy as they make their way to the gov house.

PoliticsRe: Your Veiw On Gej's Door To Door Campaign by Wadeoye(m): 12:41pm On Mar 06, 2011
What will they be telling people in a door-to-door campaign? Do they think people don't know what they are doing?

As a VP and then President, why do you still need to emback on a doot-to-door campaign if you have actually done well?

Don't come near my door, otherwise, you will annoy my dog.

They seem to be confused.
PoliticsRe: Crowd Denies Ribadu Attention At Acn Rally In Lagos. by Wadeoye(m): 10:56am On Mar 06, 2011
How will Ribadu win Lagos? Because of ACN? That is wrong - people in Lagos will not vote for party.

Only ACN party members will vote for Ribadu and probably kids (that they call youth) who don't really know what governance is all about.

If opinion poll is conducted in Lagos today, Buhari will win - we have more serious independent minded people in Lagos than policians.

Policians that rely on Tinubu for survival are not more that 0.5% of the electorates in Lagos.

I am a youth (34 years of age) but my vote and that of my family will go to Buhari/Bakare.

Defintely this will not stand - the guy must be released immediately no matter what allegation they might have against him.

They should go to court if he has committed any offence.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Has Shocked Me, Destroyed CPC by Wadeoye(m): 10:03am On Mar 06, 2011
All those guys blaming Buhari for the guber primary crisis are either mischievious or kids.

To startwith, there were rules in CPC governing elections that nobody must use money to buy delegates. It was proved that money was used in Kano and Katsina to buy delegates and the party rose up to say no - Buhari is not the party. If Buhari were the likes of Tinubu or the PDP monsters, of course, he would have probably supported Abacha son. Don't forget Abacha made Buhari the Chairman of PTF which eventually became a parallel government to Abacha government. This further proved to you that Buhari is a principled person who will not allow emotion to compromise his judgement. I am sure Abacha son himself will be surprised that Buhari is not coming to his rescue despite being the leader of the party.

We should be happy that this is happening in a party whereas in other parties, bribery goes unchallenged like in the case of  PDP where GEJ bribed each delegate with $7000.00 - it is a fact.

At least, elections were conducted in CPC unlike in other parties where candidates were selected by Godftahers - ACN, DPD, etc.

Also note that things are so bad in Nigeria that people want to get a wining ticket at all cost - they will do anything to achieve this because to them it is business not service to the people. So, I don't expect any right thinking person to blame Buhari for the crisis.
PoliticsRe: 5 REASONS YOU SHOULD VOTE NUHU RIBADU by Wadeoye(m): 9:40am On Mar 06, 2011
Stop wasting other people's time along with your own. If PDP is the problem of this country, the only thing that makes sense at this time is for us to work together and chase them out and jail all those that have been stealing from the till. There is no time for all these not-well-thought-through ambition.

Join BB train today to chase the monster called PDP out of power. Sure Ribadu can still be given a role in the new government that will be formed by BB.

See the below picture, who will not want these upright, matured and exprienced men to lead his country?

PoliticsRe: Abacha's Son Is Cpc's Kano Governorship Candidate. by Wadeoye(m): 8:57pm On Mar 05, 2011
@marvix, you are deceiving yourself.

Why do you think people are fighting with everything they have to get CPC ticket in the North? If you have still not seen from the on-going campaign, the whole of the north is Buhari's stronghold. Of course, Buhari will come either first or second in South West. People will vote differently in presidential and guber elections.

In Kano, even among the PDP, the song is KANO SAI Kwakwanso, NIGERIA SAI Buhari.

In Lagos where I am based, if a poll is conducted today, Buhari will win. We have seen this in phone in programs on Radio and television. Millions of people belief in Buhari here.
PoliticsRe: Bb Rally In Port Harcourt. Any Update? by Wadeoye(m): 8:04pm On Mar 05, 2011
Can you see this, people were kept far away from Buhari to prevent any foul play by misguided elements.

PoliticsRe: Bb Rally In Port Harcourt. Any Update? by Wadeoye(m): 7:53pm On Mar 05, 2011
Check out the attached photograph. The turnout was far better than expected. Nobody expected any south southerner to be bold enough to come out and associate with Bahari.

If GEJ got this level of crowd in Kaduna, I am sure he would be very happy - his VP is from Kaduna, The ruling party in Kaduna is PDP and despite all these, GEJ could still not pull 5000 people - the few people there worked out of the venue on him.

P/H is the strong hold of GEJ being a South Southerner, The ruling party is PDP. Despite that, Buhari pulled people out more than GEJ could do in the north.

The way the rally was organised, people were not allowed to stay close to Buhari to prevent any foul play. So anybody taking picture will need to position himself well to be able to capture the crowd.

You will be surprised what the outing will look like in Ibadan, here in Lagos, etc.

Generally, the rally in P/H scored more than pass mark.

PoliticsRe: 9 Months Of Buhari, Or 9 Months Of Ribadu As President - What To Expect? by Wadeoye(m): 3:02pm On Mar 05, 2011
Whoever think Ribadu can win the coming election is day dreaming. Lets for once be serious and do what is realistic.

If I am to make any contribution here, it is basically going to be on Buhari. Ribadu has no chance of wining and I will therefore not waste my time imagining what his first 9 month as president will look like.

PoliticsRe: Tinubu’s God Complex by Wadeoye(m): 2:27pm On Mar 05, 2011
Very simple - Tinubu looks at politics from a business perspective. So, since Tinubu is the party, then he controls the cabinet if allowed to appoint commissioners.

The good thing is, Lagosians are not fools, we will reject him very soon and his party. People will vote for ACN only because of Fashola
PoliticsRe: When Will Ribadu Start Campaigning? by Wadeoye(m): 2:19pm On Mar 05, 2011
Since invited by SSS, Tinubu has been conspicuously absent from ACN rallies.

It seems, the man has a battle of life to fight with the law - corruption related. I just heard Ribadu say Tinubu is a man of integrity.

These are baby rallies - check the below out and see what they call political rally. Cheering crowd, not like the one above where people were just watching the drama on the podium.

PoliticsRe: 2011 Presidential Election Result by Wadeoye(m): 1:46pm On Mar 04, 2011
@Poster, tell me how Jonathan will win Nasarawa (where he was toned) and Adamawa. Dont deceive yourself, CPC will win in these states.

Also note that Kwara, Kogi, entire SW, Edo and Taraba will be split between the 3 contenders. 30/30/30 - presidential election will be slightly different.
PoliticsRe: To Get Rid Of Pdp, Acn Should Stand Down For Buhari/bakare. by Wadeoye(m): 9:55pm On Mar 03, 2011
@EKO Ile, ACN is going to lose the presidency and VP either way. But I think it is better for them to just step down for CPC and get a few key positions in the new government.

PoliticsRe: 5 Die As Buhari Flags Off North-west Campaign by Wadeoye(m): 7:46am On Mar 03, 2011
The Beaf or what do you call yourself, you are, to say the least, unpatriotic - the more of you we have in the country the more problem Nigeria will have as a nation.

If anybody is vandalizing and injuring people, it is the Nigeria police that should be blamed, not the CPC.Over 25,000 police officers were deployed in Kaduna yesterday. If despite that they cant still ensure security of life and property, then the proposed Buhari police reform is much needed immediately - wee can't even wait for April to come.
PoliticsRe: Update On Buhari Bakare Flag Off Kaduna by Wadeoye(m): 10:46pm On Mar 02, 2011
You will not appreciate the turnout well enough if you have not seen it on TV. I have never seen this kind of crowd in the history of electioneering in Nigeria. This too much - Nigerians actually desire change.
PoliticsRe: NL Official Presidential Opinion Poll by Wadeoye(m): 10:37pm On Mar 02, 2011
BB supporters and others, you need to see the kaduna rally on TV. I have never seen a crowd as large as this in the history of electioneering in Nigeria. If we replicate this in at least 3 regions, I can go to bed that we have won this election because these are induced supporters as the other parties do - all we need to do is man our votes on the day of election.
PoliticsRe: The Cpc Campaign Rally In Kaduna - Live Images by Wadeoye(m): 6:14pm On Mar 02, 2011
This picture is from Kaduna venue of CPC campaign.

Note that no camera can even capture everything from one direction excep you do it from a helicopter.

This is unbelievable.
