twosquare: one thing can be responsible for this:there is no 3g network of dat ISP u are using in ur area .And I knw d settings of ur mobile network is in automatic mode which will select d available generation 4 u.

thank so much bro...but is it possible not to show 3g for at aleast one of the networks cos i av searched diff locations all na 2g... am so worried... now i cannot download pes cos d maximum i get is 5kb/s

Seen the three lit buttons at the bottom of your phone ?

The left one is the menu key. Click it, and you'd see 4 sub-menus.
Select [SETTINGS], then you are in.
Here you'd find top-most, [SIM management]. Click it, then seek [Data connection].
Found it ? Good. Click it to reveal the options. Select OFF.

There you are. A smart android phone that just got neutered off the net.

Oh, you want to browse without 3G ? SACRE BLEU....
OK then. After you've clicked on [SETTINGS],..... look past [Data Usage] and see [More...]
Click on [More...], then Click on [Mobile networks], then [Network Mode].

You're now at your data sim, click on it. And you will find the option to go [GSM Only]

no alawi for them oh... if u miss a mnt dia wont b alawi for u for dt month and u will serve two month extra... they will now devide dt money they kept for u into two for the twi extra month u are to serve

Before you stress yourself about going to carlcare, try these:

for the browsing:
Settings > More... > Mobile networks > Access Point Names > Your Sim name

Make sure the radio button is selected. I believe the APN settings are already configured.

for the absent apps:
they are installed on your memory card. make sure the card is properly seated in its slot. It probably got shifted while you were inserting your SIM cards.

Maybe before checking that you can check FileManager in your App drawer or Storage under Settings to make sure the SD Card is mounted

Thankz bros av been trying to browse with it since but all my effort proves abortive. At d point of sale i saw those pre installed apps but wen i got home i couldnt find them in menu again all i saw was all those normal phone settings pls help

teeo: Depends on how you want to browse, normally when you insert your sim it authomatically brings up the network settings, then go to system settings and click data usuage then switch on mobile data, with this you should be able to browse. The already installed apps are in your menu, they are arranged alphabetically..

Hi guys pls i got my N7 phone but dont know aw do configure it to browse with mtn and airtel 2. I cant find the already installed apps dia. Pls oh i need help

but when Q1 goes for 16500 and N7 goes for 28K that is arround 11k diff and u z its just screen diff. Does d diff in price really worth the diff in dia spec?

adexsimply: i av used N3 and currently using Q1..N3 was nice but apart from screen size, Q1 is just way better..in terms of connection speed, camera quality, memory(my n3 was always complaining about memory), there is no limit to the apps you can download, there are some in-built functions which make rooting quite unnecessary...et cetera..

thanks so ooo much i also went true N7 spec now and i also fell in love with it but comparing the diff in d price does it really worth it? Cos some phones will just av little or no diff in dia speciefications but wide diff according to d price
