I am from Kwara state in Ekiti Local government. Kwara south are predominantly yorubas. Kwara state generally speaks Yoruba after English.

Yoruba language are major language then nupe or takpa n fulfude.
Nobody is Hausa in Kwara state. The only thing we have is Fulani
We call Them Fulani yoruba

And they are descendant of Zulu gambari.


The emirate is in rotation.

Last emir was Ahlaji agba a direct descendant of Afonja then this emir is a Zulu a Fulani

Bukola saraki is not even from Ilorin he is from Osun .

The present governor is not Hausa but Takpa or Nupe people.

Yoruba dominate Ilorin
I spent my primary school
Secondary school n institution in Ilorin
I was even born in Ilorin which is the state capital.

Kwara south are Yoruba which are Ofa ,oro which is Igbomina , Ekiti n oke ero

This Kwara south especially ofa has been supporting Other Yoruba state in term of politics.

Its only in Ilorin which is the capital that Fulani are popular.


During Governor Lawal who died. He attempted to depose the Emir of Ilorin n crown his dad as Oba n not as Emirate but they were not allowed.

The Fulani in Ilorin can't even speak their own language without yoruba . Yoruba language dominate all the language . The only thing is that Muslim owns Ilorin . I am a Christian n christian too are many in Ilorin. The deputy governor is a yoruba from south . they are always from south. Kwara only problem is the sarakis

So u think a PhD program that lasted 8years is strictness (one of my lecturers ordeal) or stupidity and mediocrity.
I hate people saying this poo. Upon the whole wahala we put ourselves now....Nigerian universities for Africa is nothing but rubbish.. You better stop this rubbish comparisons because every student has their own story to tell. A university is only better than the other by qualitative education and pragmatic approach to human problems not outright wickedness that u call strictness.

reason is that the number of invalid vote is on Tue high side. and the margin is too closed. if the winning margin is not enough to win the invalid votes. then the election will be inconclusive.

WE DIDN'T PAY SARAKI’S SALARY AFTER OFFICE-KWSG

Kwara State Government has denied paying former governor of the State, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki salary after he left office in May 2011.



Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Isiaka Gold in a reaction to claims that the former governor was drawing salary from the State after he left office, explained that Dr Saraki’s last salary was N291,474.00 for the month of May 2011.



According to the SSG, “from June 2011, former Governor Saraki started receiving his pension which was N578,188.00 as other past governors in the country”.



The statement added that after the review of pensions of former political office holders by the State Pension Board, the former governor’s pension increased to N1,239,493.94 monthly from October 2014 to date.



Kwara State Government, therefore, dismissed as false and misleading the allegation that former Governor Saraki was receiving salaries after the expiration of his two-term tenure as governor of the state.

Alhaji Gold advised interested stakeholders to seek clarification from appropriate authority to avoid misleading the public.

so many illitrates here, so many guys don't know that an ex governor is entitled to salary for life (allowances exlcuded) including security. shm. Among others entitled to such are ex presidents, military generals, high court judges etc infact, sarakis own is the least I've known so far, some ex governors receive about a million monthly.
