imperiouxx: Lolzzzz. New York is in west and California in the north while Texas is in the mid west. Lot of laugh when it comes to panic. Well, the first thing I usually learn about where I'm going is the position on cardinal point and the nearest cities to it. Still laughing about this new location of states in US I just learned. Congrat sha. ....i laugh in swahili ...nice one imperiouxx |
@house Here is my story and I need to know what Ɣøû think and advice I had my interview this М̣̣̥̇̊Ό̲̣̣̣̥Я̩̥̊И̣̣̣̥Ȋ̝̊̅̄И̣̣̣̥G̲̣̣̣̥ at the lagos embassy was interviewed by window 1 a white guy. Interview lasted like 6-7mins asked questions which I answered then he collected my passport, tore the pickup slip and gave M̶̲̥̅ε̲̣̣̣̥ a white form. Told M̶̲̥̅ε̲̣̣̣̥ to pick up my visa on friday and was advicing M̶̲̥̅ε̲̣̣̣̥ to travel early. When I was J̲̣̣̣U̶̲̥̅̊§τ̲̅ abt to leave I think something came up on his screen and he said he might need to collect the form, return my passport held on to my DS-160 and gave M̶̲̥̅ε̲̣̣̣̥ the GREEN PICKUP ticket. Told M̶̲̥̅ε̲̣̣̣̥ dia is a check they still need to run that its most probably nothing bt they have to D̶̲̥̅̊o it.that I should mail my school and inform them I might report late.he said D̶̲̥̅̊ε̲̣̣̣̥γ̲̣̣̥ will contact M̶̲̥̅ε̲̣̣̣̥ via email or phone that they have to carry out additional administrative check/processing My questions are: Has anyone held of this before? What D̶̲̥̅̊o u think might be the Ish? How long will I have to wait for this process? What are my chances? Please advice
My personal person...lemme be the first to congratulate you....don't worry you don get the visa...so far the green ticket is with you and you got a form 221g...it make take a lil while but you'll get it...congrats bro...i don tell you before nah... |
lanrypaddy: Greatest unilorite!!! I'm glad 2 meet M̶̲̥̅Ɣ fellow alumnus...I appreciate Ʊя̲̅ words of encouragement and I will also work on that accordingly...did You did Ʊя̲̅ interview @ lagos embassy? Pls let M̶̲̥̅ƺ knw which counter Ȋ̝̊̅§ best in giving visa and wu 2 avoid...wr are Ʊ nw?yes oo my guy...greatest unilorites ooo...i had my interview in lagos and was interviewed by the VO in counter 1....well u cannot really avoid any counter..i'm in naija will be leaving for yankee soon...wish you all d best...come share ya testimony |
lanrypaddy: Thanks a lot bro Fø̲̣̣я̅ Ʊя̲̅ pieces of advice and information. I have already mailed the school Fø̲̣̣я̅ that GRE request and the Graduate addmission officer has sent M̶̲̥̅ƺ a mail which states that †̥ whom it may concern, GRE Ȋ̝̊̅§ not required by the school, hence, •̸№ need Fø̲̣̣я̅ GRE waiver and that TOEFL Ȋ̝̊̅§ also not needed Fø̲̣̣я̅ student from Nigeria. So I have printed that email conversation Fø̲̣̣я̅ proof. You're from unilorin...right....wish you all the best |
Tanx bro.. Am grateful for all d help u rendered me. D story isn't complete without u. God bless u.[/quote Thanks bro...we thank God! |

successgrace: @ gurus in the house please i want to ask how do one go about his medical examinations before coming to usaMy guy you too worry...if you're talking about the health insurance and tests i'll advice you do it when you get to your school...you'll be more secure with that...and of course..you can take your naija foen to usa...it's already unlocked for all you need is just get an operator's package and off you go or simply go on prepaid as you dey do for naija...gurus abeg i yarn correct? success abeg you still dey hear from toyin abi she don comot? |
Zone 2 Zone: This is how the interview went.using the word "small scale" ended your case...otherwise you would have been approvesd...a VO can easily calculate with his brains how far a small scale business can go in Nigeria...you should have said your dad has a personal/family business alongside his profession and he's left to ask what and what and how big his business is....propagate the enormous business and wealth of your parents even if dem no get shishi.... |
successgrace: Bro i like dis ooooGuy where u dey...you just lock up sha! |
lanrypaddy: Hello to you all,Guy...i'm also a graduate of unilorin and i went for my interview some weeks ago...we'll there's nothing wrong with your profile here and i can say you're good to go...just have your confidence...i also got admission into a UK school and another institution in Nigeria and i must tell you it was a strong point 'cos it shows you're a serious student and not desperate...if asked why you chose CCSU just tell the VO that was the school that offered you admission in the area of your interest...know your area of interest and about the school and you're good to go...your mum being your sponsor is also a great point on your side...don't bother about the sevis receipt, they understand that nigerians cannot pay from here...the address on mine was cotonou cos that was where i paid...if asked how many universities you appled to...tell the VO that CCSU, the two schools in UK and OAU in ife...that'll do...there's no need to panic or lie ok...the VO may not even to see a single document...if you can write to the school to get you a waiver letter on your GRE, please do and if you cannot...just go with your confidence...wish you all the best and come share your testimony also...cheers |
leadzeal: U re right man.. I confirmed dat as well.. Wud b goin with qatar sha..Abeg guy when will u be leaving with qatar...i made a reservation for turkish airline on the 11th to NY then from there i'll connect to CA |

imperiouxx: You new guys shouldn't pack dry akpanla and garri while coming to US ooo. If caught at entry, your stuffs would be seized, trashed and you pay fine. If you need garri (nice one ooo), ground egusi, palm oil, ogbonor, tinko, okra (americans dey fry their own eat like fried fish) etc dem dey sell them fine fine in US. You fit no see ponmo but good shaki dey for Walmart and other stores. Moreover, US is home of different kinda food, you go eat and eat till you can't no more.....That's if your intention is real and you are on good standing ooo.
