Atiku is a very greasy and self serving person. Nonsense. |
Seyi is too ambitious; I am not impressed with his attitude to power and drive. |
Familymatterss:It is your risk not mine. Few words are enough to influence or deepen the thoughts of the wise. |
Familymatterss:Dating Relationships amongst neighbors in same house or compound often times fail to work out. I will advice that you take your dating games or business outside your residential compound till one of you exits that compound, then you can come for her, if it isn't late. |
Inosky:There will be no resignation or sack of Professor Oloyode in JAMB for now |
Okoroawusa:Have you ever heard this before: "Examination isn't the true test of knowledge"? On examination days, a lot of factors affect students and these factors influence their performance in the examination positively or negatively. That is the reason we parents and schools are also encouraged to prepare the students psychologically for the exams, calm them down and ensure that they are not overwhelmed, scared or destabilized in course of the preparation and exercise. |

I don't agree with you that it is intentional and you are also making it sound like it was done to supress some people. Why do some Nigerians always think negatively? Why are you so pessimistic? This will keep you stuck in the past and unable to progress. You should not stay fixated on trivial matters and incite people against other organizations. What are your proofs to corroborate your assertion? Besides, I can tell you that there may be disciplinary actions against some staff in JAMB but definitely not necessarily to make heads roll. There must be review of JAMB"s policies and strategic plan towards CBT examination system but definitely not in a way to sacrifice productive, dedicated and hardworking personnel. There is no organization above mistakes; even you are not above mistakes. |
Pacesetter123:With improved technology, highly trained information technology staff and computer engineers and improved supervision, there will be less malfunctions and gradually, we will have better CBT examination systems in all CBT centres. |
I feel offended by this Adelabu. Everytime he talks, I feel so offended and irritated. He is so annoying! |
Sirmwill:No, that man is an epitome of performance. The system is not perfect and now, we have seen the weakness of the CBT Examination system. We must not jettison the CBT examination system but we must prepare for better administration of the CBT examination system going forward to mitigate against the possible challenges. Opportunity must continually be given to students whom the CBT examination system malfunction impede to automatically qualify for a resit within the examination window. There should be no refund but an opportunity to retake the examination for those students who were affected by the glitch or malfunction. I respect Prof. Oloyede for taking, on behalf of JAMB, responsibility for the failure of JAMB to ensure seamless CBT examination system. |
kyrejanes:No! |
bixton:Whichever way you wanna spin this discussion, you must recognize that there is no substitute for legal and corporate resolution. Every other solution, including withholding 10% allocation to the Area Councils, that are illegal and unconventional are unacceptable. The current local government chairmen in Abuja - FCT will be out of office soon, this year. They will lose the case in court and with the sustained strike in place, they, or the new chairmen, will bow to the pressure eventually. If I am in the shoes of the teachers, we will sustain the strike since it is out last resort. In the shoes of the FCT Minister, I will continue to consult the Teachers Association and the group of Chairmen on the need to promptly and regularly pay the salaries of LG staff, minimum wage. The FCT minister can also consult with the new Chairmen once they get elected into office to ensure the outstanding bills on the Area Councils are paid promptly. |
bixton:If you want to take it as an advice, fine. However, it is one of the possible legal options open to the FCT Minister in the effort to compel the area council chairmen to pay the teachers salary. I am just not favorably disposed to addressing the impasse with lawless and illegal efforts. |
bixton:Even if you are so fanatical about Wike or any politician or you are on the payroll of any politician, common sense should guide your contributions on social media or in any platform where you have to communicate your position because people would assess you on the basis of your contributions and determine if you are sensible or otherwise. Again, I emphasize that Wike's decision to Withhold 10% of funds due to the Area Councils is illegal and it must be communicated to him clearly. You should not cut off the head because you want to cure headache for someone. Whatever is illegal is simply illegal and every attempt to justify illegality must be rebuffed. Now, that FCT Minister wants to withhold the 10%, how does Wike intend to pay the Teachers? Does FCT Ministry have their payroll? Can FCT ministry debit accounts of teachers in Abuja and credit whatever account they put the 10%? Withholding it is to put pressure on the Chairmen to pay the salaries (minimum wage), FCT ministry can't directly effect the payment legally. If the FCT minister so much cares, it is only the court that can order an aggregate of the salary of Teachers and or Staff of the area councils and freeze it in the account of the area councils monthly and subsequently decide to pay the sum to the teachers upon a court order. Please feel free to share with us, the loop hole in the law, that you said Wike is exploring to withhold the 10% allocation. We are waiting on you! |
bixton:I don't think it is within the rights of the FCT minister to pay bills of the Area Councils for the payroll of teachers. That bill is statutory payment under Area Councils (Local Government). However, I can't completely fault Wike for toing this line of withholding 10% of fund due to Area Councils in Abuja. Funds due to Area Councils should be remitted to Area councils not spent on their behalf. |
mytime24:Obviously, that is not in practice for now. That is the reason he can threaten to withdraw 10℅ of their allocation. However, we must reprimand the Area Councils management, particularly the chairmen. Their attitude towards meeting financial obligations towards the teachers and education in Abuja is so sick and unacceptable |
Seefinish:Are you GT Bank's agent? |
lumens:Yes, you can get Camry 2010 model, Nigerian used, for 9 million |
Psoul:We shall see her level of intelligence soon in court. |
thesolutions:You dey respond to that illiterate and uninformed person. |
ValarDoharis:For you, Natasha didn't have mental problem but it is this During that has mental problems abi |
Sundaymessi:Did the Joy (Ogoni woman) file a case of sexual harassment against Apabio in court? At the level of Acting Managing Director of the NDDC, do we want to assume she doesn't know that she could have approached the court to prove her case. When you accuse someone of sexual harassment, you have to prove your case. Both Joy and Natasha must prove their case beyond reasonable doibt, before a competent court of jurisdiction, for the law and everyone to agree and accept that there was actually sexial harassment. |
marv1:What is not easy? The Senate President's wife has already filed the case of sexual harassment against Natasha. Has a track record of sexual harassment been proven against Apabio? Can you show the evidence, if you know any. If Natasha can be going on social media to bandy accusations of sexual harassment against the Senate President, instead of the court, and we expect that she should or could also have substanciated her accusations on social media with some proof. Ask Natasha if she filed a case of asexual harassment against the Senate President (Apabio) in court? |
Psoul:She went to social media to blackmail and malign Apabio so since people like you have castigated and crucified Apabio, based on social media accusations, before he is convincted. She should provide you guys proof on social media to corroborate her accusations. Why should Apabio step asside? Is the Senate investigating Apabio? The sexual harassment case that Natasha later presented to the Senate ethics and privileges committee could not be investigated for now because a related matter is already before the court (case filed in court by Apabio's wife). So the committee can't continue to investigate for now to prevent sub judiciary influence on the case in court or preemption of the court. There is no basis for Apabio to step down, even if the Senate Committee is investigating the case. Apabio should only recuse himself from presiding over the Senate meeting where there report of the ethics and privileges committee will present their report to the Senate for decision making. |
9jatriot:The case Natasha filed in court was against the Senate; she got an interlocutory injunction from the court to stop the Senate (ethics and privileges committee) from proceedings on her conduct review and disciplinary actions. She didn't want the Senate to punish her for her disruptive, disrespectful and unruly behavior in the Senate. That was the case she took to court. Go and check or investigate my claim: she never Instituted a case in court against Apabio for sexually harassing her. |
bigpicture001:Your post is so funny! Apabio will be a witness in the case, Natasha's lawyers will cross examine Apabio in view of the accusations and evidences presented against Apabio and in favor of Apabio. Natasha will also be cross examined by Mrs Apabio's lawyers. Natasha has to prove beyond reasonable doubt that Apabio has been sexually harassing her. I guess you don't understand how the court proceedings will be executed. |
JuanDeDios:I think you are wrong: every one has some level of credibility to protect, even the devil. Mr Apabio is the Senate President of Nigeria, that is a level of credibility to protect. |
bigpicture001:Apabio's wife in court against Natasha is the same as Apabio suing Natasha to court. Do you want Apabio also to duplicate the case in court and create multiple cases with same or similar filings? Don't you think Apabio's wife got his permission to sue Natasha in court? |
Enskynelson:In her interest, she should have reliable and substantial evidences to prove her case beyond reasonable doubt. Otherwise,..... If I am Apabio and the court vindicates me after all, Natasha must be convicted, jailed and fined by the court. |
JuanDeDios:No sir/ma, This case must be in court because it has assumed a criminal dimension of assassinating the character and destroying the credibility of the Senate President. There was a criminal motive from the outset. |
JASONjnr:Let me correct or inform you, she never filed the suit of sexual harassment against Apabio till date. She has only been using the social media to attack and blackmail and malign the person of the Senate President with criminal accusations of sexual harassment. Does that not worry or baffle you? That till date, she has not been able to Institute a formal case against Apabio in court on the sexial harassment accusations. It was Apabio's wife that sued her to court on the sexual harassment accusations against her husband and against her marriage and family. That is the only case in court about the Sexual Harassment accusations, to the best of my knowledge. |
