Someone told me this morning that a number contacted her that he is Walspring.
Please to those contacting people that they are Walspring, you should stop it.
Anyone who is doing that is just there to impersonate me because they wanted to cause wahala and whoever didn’t get or exchange nairaland email message from me first before we talk on phone or chat should take note that’s not real Walspring.
Please let us be guide and it’s also applicable to other as well to learn and take caution on whoever contacted you claiming someone’s name.
Lastly we shouldn’t be posting phone number here at all. |

fcnaxo: Hey stranger, they are reliable I can tell u that first hand. The 4 days plan is thier cheaper option costs 84-85k there about. But if it is about reliability I can assure u they are very OK. If u have a friend or family member in the Abroad it is way cheaper 72-75 all parameters considered. However you have to send the filled form via Post or DHL which wud cost another amount, invariably amounting to the same 84k u wud spend with Sevis Express Lol. Am lost here oo. Who told you at bold is needed? Is it someone or sevis staff or sevis express staff? Let us not post message that will confuse people.. Lastly a day payment plan I can help is not even up to sevis express 4 days payment plan. Anyway it’s all about people’s choice. |

AgreatMan: It is not always like that. I once renewed my passport 12 months before it expires even though they said it's 6 months.
Scenario 1: current passport still needs 12 months before expiration but a school u are about to apply to ask u to submit a passport which is valid for at least 2 years.
Scenario 2: current passport still has 11 months to expire. But an employer wish to renew your contract n Visa by 12 months.
They will give it but will ask you to write down why u want it earlier. Do you get this done inside Nigeria or outside Nigeria ? |

kidUrbane: Hello, I’m in the process of registering for TOEFL. I want to know if the international passport is the only acceptable means of identification at the test venue. For some reasons my international passport isn’t available at the moment but I have my national ID card with the NIN number. Has anybody written the TOEFL test using any means of identification other than the international passport? And if you were able to write the exams hope you didn’t have issues with getting your test score or encountered any problem at all. Thank you. Yes that is the only means and without it you won't be allowed to write the exam.. |

Abacino007: Good day Fam,
Compliment of the season Everyone. My visa was denied yesterday at Abuja Embassy. Just two questions and straight denial.
How did you get this school?
Firstly from Prof Taylor who is a professor of Economics at CMU and I did my personal research about the school
How many schools did you apply to? CMU, WSU, MSU and WIU
Why did you apply to those schools?
they all have low faculty to student ratio, which means faculty members can spend more time working individually with student
Green paper
Note the resumption date on my i20 is also the same day my school resumes. (interview 7th of Jan and school resumes same 7th of Jan ) Sorry about your delay, as for me you should have defer rather than going that day because that alone can make the VO conclude without you speaking more |

Bunmip: Please gurus,
How can someone put a call through to the U. S Embassy in Lagos? i just want to do a follow up concerning my visa application that has been on administrative processing since December 18, 2018. My school resumption date is January 16,2019 and classes begin on January 22, 2019. I have mailed them but the reply i got was the normal generic reply.
Please anybody? Just exercise patience and they will get back to you or send them email using feedback option on your appointment visa application portal. You can defer after getting the visa and no cause for alarm |

domex007: hi guys
i have been a nairaland follower since 2013.
i am sorry my testimony is coming late. i hope it helps raise the hope of nigerian youths seeking greener pastures here.
i have been denied USA student visa in 2013, 2014 and 2015 i then turned my dreams to canada (paid my school fees in full and was still denied student visa in 2016 after waiting over 3months) at this point my money was almost finished and my family started advising me to start studies here in nigeria
i enrolled for yaba tech part time program while i also chased my travel dreams in Germany. i was also denied visa to germany because i couldn't raise the 8,800 euro blocked account.
at this point, i was frustrated and desperate, but the work load from yabatech and my business kept me from depression.
immediately, after my graduation in Yaba i decided to give USA one last trial knowing fully well that i will be denied but i kept on pushing forward
my interview went thus: first, my interview was for 6;30 13th august 2018 but for the first time i got to the embassy very late and i was not scared or nervous. it rained heavily that day and the rain no pity me at all. i just protected my documents and went it. i was very cold and feeling sick. i just wanted to do my interview and leave. i was bending down to make my self warm and was almost sleeping before the person behind me told me that it was my turn.
My interview was very long.........
my interview: (a Beautiful black american woman): VO: Hi there. are you okay? Me; Hi. yes i am fine. i am just cold. with fake smile on my face. VO: oh okay why are you going to the USA? Me; for my undergrad studies in Business Administration and management VO: when did you finish high school? Me; 2012 VO; what have you been doing since: Me; I went for a computer diploma program for a year. then i started applying to Universities in US, Canada, Germany and Nigeria. Things didnt go as planned with the Abroad studies so i went for my National diploma in yaba that took me 4years. VO: Why did you choose to continue studies in US? why not nigeria? me: the educational system in nigeria is really poor even though it is affordable to study in nigeria. my program for example is suppose to be a program of 2 years but due to the strike and poor educational amenities it will take me longer time to graduate here in Nigerian university. And i believe in the proverb; "what is what doing is what doing well" VO: Why do you Change your course? Me; briefly after my studies i open a Human Hair Business with the financial assistance from my uncle but i need more board knowledge in the field of business. thats why i decided to change my program to help me business grow when i return to Nigeria. VO:how many Universities did you apply to? Me; A lot VO; sorry i meant how many gave you admission? Me: 6 VO: wow, name them Me: saint peters University, University of central oklahoma,Troy University, University of manitoba, Canada. Conestoga College, Canada, and the last one Westfallen, Germany VO: can i see some other admission and I-20 me: *i smiled because i know she didn't trust me. I passed them to her and apologized because they were a bit wet. Vo: passed them back and asked how i found out about Saints Peters University Me; My cousin who is a US citizen studied there and he has nothing but praise for the university. VO: what classes will you be taking? Me: I smiled because this question was the reason why i was denied the 2nd time. I answered them sweetly VO: what will happen to your business when you leave Nigeria. Me; Presently, i have filled my sister in on the basic things she needs to know to keep the business alive until i return VO: can i see some of the business documents ME; i passed her CAC document and business bank statement with just 400k in it Vo: who is paying for your studies? Me: my uncle? VO: Why? Me; He has been the one funding my education due to the death of my father in 2007 VO: what does he do? Me; He is a medical doctor VO: Can i see his bank statement? Me: Passed his bank statement VO: he is in the US? Me; Yes ( at this point i thought i will be denied) VO: what is his legal status Me; He is a citizen Vo: do you have his tax clearance? Me: Passed them VO: flips through and returns them
*starts Typing endlessly as i was waiting for my denial letter* God surprised me as she raised her head and gave me the White paper and said the magical words
VO: Congratulations and goodluck in your business Me; *straight face* Thank you so much ma
Me: stepped out in the rain. the jubilation in me chased the cold away My family cant still believe it until the day they excorted me to the airport with tears of Joy in the eyes of my Lovely mom
I got to US on December 4th, Cold has been dealing with me since....
My dear brothers and sisters, I give thanks to God for the delay i faced before because He was using it to help me build a business for my self here in Nigeria. i wore simple native attire, went last with so many red flags and still got the visa. It can only be God.
i hope my testimony boost your hope. Give it your best!
I also thank all Nairaland members especially Amefrica, Gravinton, Stewee, Kunlebal, Walspring, even Justwise as i Welcome myself to AMERICA Congrats, if i am not wrong we met in person at palmgrove. Am glad to hear this good news.. Go and Triumph in Trump land |

alizma: have you ever hear the likes of Obasanjo, IBB, and others old big wigs of the military men talk about the certificate? they know the truth but allow the ignorant ones to wallow in their ignorance while they tried to use them for their own personal benefits. unfortunately some of the people shouting Buhari bring your certificate cannot trace the location of either their birth, primary schoolnly stupid people that believe Buhari has no or secondary school certificate as we speak now. Shaking my head for you because you talking as if you know the truth but you don't know the truth at all. Am sure you went to school and highly educated and yet you are talking like this. My simple question is your mate or those that forged waec result while you are in school, do you remember the outcome and penalty that befall them? Did you and your mate gain admission into university without passing Mathematics and English subjects? Tell me where in this country anyone can secure university admission without passing mathematics? Abeg wise up and stop been bias and call a spade a spade. To get a good job in my country you need university degree with second class lower because third class takes the help and grace of God but to contest for president in my country you need waec result. Late Chinua Achebe already summarized everything about Nigeria in his book titled THERE WAS A COUNTRY and truly there was a country that was built and laid on scam since 1960 and that's what is affecting this my countryLastly if waec headquarters in Ghana says they don't have PMB certificate or result, How did waec Nigeria get this one they handed over to him? Is this not scam again? |
