Friends...I have my I20. Resumption date is August. Can I still go ahead and pay the SEVIS now and then apply for visa later? (considering the 120days rule)

Imperiuoxx tell me please I obtained the bank statement for my i-20 today and will upload it to the school by thursday at the latest.. If my i-20 arrives next month and I schedule an interview for may can I still use the same bank statement considering it will be about 2 months old?

Please as an under graduate can I apply for USA student visa and I really all the requirements that are needed. And secondly is there any particular amount one must have before applying for visa.

Great question.
Where did this 120-day rule come from? I learnt some students are even given visa 8 months prior to their program start date.
Can anyone shed more light on this, because what the VOs clearly say is that one cannot enter the US 30 days or more earlier than the expected date of resumption.

The Department of State Services, DSS, has foiled an
assassination attempt on the life of the Director
General of NIMASA, Dakuku Peterside.
Heavily armed men suspected to be thugs loyal to a
political party engaged the DSS in a gun-battle at UTC
Junction, Old GRA, Port Harcourt.


One of the DSS officers, who is assigned to Dakuku
Peterside (name withheld) was hit in the leg.
One of the security details told DAILY POST that, “We
got information that PDP thugs want to swap results at
the collation centre at Isiokpo in Ikwerre Local
government area. We mobilised to go and stop the
thugs. On our way back to Port Harcourt, we noticed
that a car was trailing us. At UTC junction, we decided
to be sure of the people trailing us; the youths started
shooting sporadically. My boss was hit.”


In the meantime, the Chief of Staff to Nyesom Wike, the
Rivers state Governor, Emeka Woke has been arrested
by the DSS in connection with the attack on Dakuku
Peterside.
The military has reinforced to Dakuku’s home.

People should stop saying pmb wants rivers by all means. What for?? Oil money that is first passed through the federal govt to the state. If he wanted rivers, he has the power to do that and nothing pdp will do about it. He can control inec, army and even the police.. everyone of them. Some people use party rivalry to mask their evil thought about this man. He is busy with more important things like fixing what he didn't damage.

Hello every1,i need an advise on my usa student visa application.i have applied 3 times witot anny success.i am 33yrs,single and my father was the Sponsor.i was refused.follow month I reapplied with same info and details I was refused again but the interviewer called the first person dat interview me previously,had a chat with him and refused me again.the. 3rd time,i applied married,went to Ghana to disvirgin my passport and father sponsoring me,i was refused again.i don't know wat else to do.can some1 share with me wat to do to get it right?
