ositadima1: I realised that it is not what you do that gets response from the other person or persons but how you do it. You can practically do anything as long as you find the way to do it.
Why am I saying this? Let's assume CBN and the people in power had magical powers, in the sense that they can take your money away, a fraction of it at least, so far it is Naira denominated.
If the CBN were to take 40% of your money, the one in d bank, d one in your wallet even the salary u will be paid going forward, people would go crazy, riots will take over the streets, in short wahala go dey.
But, that is just what happened in 2021, Naira was devalued and there was no reaction from the people. If you are in doubt deducting 40% from everyone present and future is exactly the same as devaluing by 40%. At least to the average man on the streets.
So, u can do about anything, so far you have a stylish way to do it. What then is the solution for the common man and the average investor like me and the people on this thread? |

RodgersAkpafu: Unfavourable in what sense ? You care to explain ? Lots of hidden charges including the following: No commission-fees except on stocks worth less than US$5 (limited to US$1M in orders per month*). *All stock trades that exceed the US$1M limit will cost the largest of: 0.1% or US$0.02/share. Stocks worth less than US$5 you will pay a commission of $0.02/share Check passfolio. com/fees to see their fees. Unlike say RobinHood and other USA only stockbrokers which is truly commission-free and no fee on deposit and withdrawals. |

The problem with NYSE for me is that there is no commission-free stock platform for Nigerians(e.g like Robinhood). Note:Passfolio is not commission-free due to their unfavourable terms and conditions in regards to trading commissions, deposit, withdrawal and currency conversion charges among all charges. |

naijainstinct: Please call them out. I know KUDA bank and OPay are guilty of this. Most of these frauds are perpetrated by these new digital financial institutions.
I have complained severally to OPay and Kuda but they won't even acknowledge your emails. Kuda has no physical address to lodge complaints. CBN is not helping matters either. They have refused to respond to petitions sent to them. How can you tell me you cannot trace a fraud because the account does not have BVN? Then why is the account functioning without proper biometrics? . Kuda has one physical office. It's just they are a super corporate scammer bank. Check my post on how they scammed me even though i visited their one physical office. |
