Why are most mushroom companies in Nigeria owned by Nigerians, whereas most of the big companies in Nigeria are owned by foreigners? Wake up Lazy Nigerian youths. Buhari is not your problem. thesilentone: Thank you for your response.
I wanted to get the historical daily prices for a few companies - preferably price and volume charts if available and annual reports
CR services Plc
Since my initial post, I have realised that the pink and red categories of companies provide little to zero useful information for investors. Avoid companies that are not in the Blue categories. They are simply not investable and you will most likely lose your investment/money 99% of the time. The two investments I made,One in a pink category company and another one in a red category company are not looking good at all. Check NASD 2021 Annual report for information on the colour categories of the companies. The pink and red category of companies provides little to zero useful information for investors, that is why they in the pink and red categories and not the blue category. To get the historical daily prices for a few companies - preferably price and volume charts if available and annual reports of a company in the blue category click on the security name and you will be directed to the specific page of that security, where you will find what you are looking for. Another way to get the annual report of a company, go to the company's website and look for the investors relations page or financials page. On CR services Plc, there is simply no liquidity at all for shares of this company on the NASD OTC exchange. |

Please does anyone know how to access this information? I might be looking in the wrong places.
Thanks You can't anymore due to the website upgrade and change. The current NASD website is different from the previous website. What kind of historical data and for what company are you looking for? Maybe i can help you. |

RabbiDoracle: The person you replied is correct nauw.
The investor is meant to do his Due Diligence before buying into IPOs.
Ben Graham of the Intelligent Investor said IPO means "It's Probably Overpriced".
We all saw hell when we all went for IPOs, POs and PPs in 2007 listing craze. Many learnt their lessons. You can't teach these retraining behaviours in business school. People just need to experience these and then they understand. We got our baptism in those days and now we avoid anything IPOs.
"You can't blame the scammer" goes all the way back to Tulip mania in the year 1634 when people were buying tulips and being issued certificates to own them and trade them. What's PP? |

Ades1: It is like saying I don't blame scammers for scamming, it is those falling for it. Stealing is stealing no matter how you package it Geregu plc shares is massively overpriced and massively overbloated(total issued shares). We also don't know if they will pay dividends as a public company. If they eventually do, there dividend yield will be small. Best way to make money from the stock is price appreciation - Buy and Sell at a profit if you can. As for me I'm avoiding the stock. Either way Otedola has made billions by just listing the shares on NGX and will continue to make money off the shares independently of the company's financial performance by selling the billion units of overpriced shares he recently issued just before listing the company. The NGX has become a dumping ground for overpriced securities for retail investors, and deliver mostly low yields to investors. Is there any investment that can give me 23% per annual ROI in the regulated financial sector of Nigeria? I'm tired of all these low yields(9-18%) despite me taking substantial risk with my money. |

ositadima1: Given dat USA is d world largest producer of crude oil. Do you still think that USA will be d loser at the end of dis inflation period?
Some people here think USA will print itself to oblivion, I laugh in your face.
You think that putting together a few charts and stats makes you an Authority on the subject, or that speculating on secondary sources of information makes you far more knowledgeable than the people who have almost unlimited resouces and access primary info by d minute. I laugh again.
My prediction? USA and d West will come out far better than the rest of d world! With no intention to insult you, What does this have to do with the Nigerian Stock Exchange or nigerian stocks? Your post is offtopic this thread. |
