Pets › Re: Reality Online Show For My Boerboel Jessy by Warleyy(m): 6:24am On Nov 12, 2019 |
Thanks boss IamAnderson: pastern is the area below the carpus(wrist), and above the foot of the dog. if you notice your dog's pasterns are bent, or too close to the ground then you have to visit a vet immediately so rehabilitation can start before it becomes permanent. weak, bent or flat pasterns are more common in large breed puppies and they can cause a lot of problems for a dog. dogs with bad pasterns can't stand for long, run for long or jump and it gets worse with age, when they get mature sometimes the pasterns get completely destroyed and result in bone issues and pain along with weak muscles which can cause paralysis. |

Education › Re: Non Issuance Of Transcript By Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) by Warleyy(m): 10:44am On Nov 06, 2019 |
What a pity... See my ex school oo.. I hope you're above to resolve your case oo Elejire2014: Fellow Nigerian students and fellow Nigerians. My name is Adigun Mojibade Nusirat an Ex student of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) Ago Iwoye.
I enrolled for diploma programme in 2005/2006 session which I was admitted for 2 years programme which I finished in 2008 all dues fully paid and receipts intact.
I got my notification of result the same year I finished and it was converted to certificate few years after.
The same result was used to pursue my degree in Tai solairin university (TASUED) in year 2011 which I finished in 2014.
Presently I am trying to pursuit my master's to better my career opportunity.
On 7/12/2017 I requested for my transcript in both schools which I got the one for TASUED same day within few hours but reverse is the case with OOU, up till now I have not gotten it. I have travelled more than 20 different occasions after which I involved 2 different counsel with different letters written to the school (all acknowledgement intact).
I was asked to pay #51,000 for the transcript which I did same day as I speak today 05/11/2019 I have spent over #600,000 on it and nothing positive has come out.
The school authorities said the WHOLE SESSION RECORDS CAN NOT BE FOUND I make an official report to VC and DVC with different letters (acknowledgement copies intact)
I did a programme of 2years just 4 semesters and it's taken another 2years to get my transcript, I have forfeited 4 admissions due to non Challant and negligence of the school because I couldn't convert my certificate.
I implore those in authorities at different levels to come to my aid to make my dream come true, as we all know that education is the key to success. |

This is our own dog.. It's very adapted to the harsh conditions here.. It rarely gets sick and they live long... They are smart too... I'm a witness to that.. One just needs to train them and cherish them like we do the foreign dogs we buy.. Like someone mentioned...these foreign dogs are also local to those countries..lets be appreciative of what we have instead of shaming it. Like yoruba would say.. Nani nani nani. Oun a ni la'an nani. If we devote time to them like we do to the foreign ones it'd be nice
Love and Feed your dog well and nice one |

Bros.. Youur sense too plenty.. I also think we shouuld have a breeding programme for our own very NSD. RomzyO: It looks like the so called Ekuke, which is not bad at all. On the forum I see people degrading our Naija ekuke breed, meanwhile studies have show our african local dogs are very hardy, live long and are not disposed to parasitic or genetic diseases. All the so called foreign breeds are local dogs in their countries of origin too and with intentional breeding they have been able to create specific looks and characteristics, infact the white tipped tail is a characteristic of the estonian beagle and they will tell you if your dog doesn't have that white tip it is not a real estonian beagle. If a breeding program is done with the Ekuke I am sure we can create beautiful dog breeds suitable for our environment. Abeg na Ekuke and nothing is wrong with that. |

Couldn't have been said better.... IamAnderson: personally I feel a good guard dog will bark at strangers no matter how frequently he hears noises. he can differentiate between random outside noise and noise coming from people at the gate. people can discuss and even play and pass the road in front of my gate but he won't bark except they make an unusual noise, once someone actually comes to the gate and stops there, even before they knock, he'll bark at them and run there. even if he's inside the house, he can tell when a stranger is in the compound. I've heard about the whole backyard cage thing but I don't believe it makes a guard dog, in fact dogs that were brought up like that usually bark at any small noise and movement when they are free which I feel isn't a pleasant thing at least since he's used to random background noises I'm sure if he's barking then it's something I have to come and check out. although when he was younger he used to bark anyhow, with time he started differentiating noises. now he knows the sound of our car horn and engine , before you reach the gate with the car he's already there waiting unlike if it's a random car, that one he'll just ignore it. he knows the sounds to ignore and the ones that should concern him, the whole backyard thing just makes your dog nervous and anxious to sounds, if you want your dog not to be scared of strange sounds then desensitization is the best way to tackle it not locking them away from it. if your dog is a guard dog, whether you lock it up at the backyard, front or inside your house he'll bark at an intruder when he spots one. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Why The Earth Surface Looks Flat by Warleyy(m): 2:41am On Oct 22, 2019 |
Reasonable Ola17: While embarking on interstate travels as a kid, I could swear that tall trees in the distance were following our vehicle as it moved. Not until it was explained to me that the illusion of movement by the trees was because they were usually at a distance and the road a little circular.
