PastorOluT: Even if their Hell perception is different (though not entirely true), it never meant they don'tbelieve in it. Also what u said was that they don't believe in after life, are u for real?Is it not apparent from the way they live their lives and the choices they make? Jewish kids aren't told the same frightening stories of eternal torture that African kids endure. So the Jews run the planet, and the African Christian is his cheap android. Correct me again, what does Judaism say about the afterlife? Or hell(fire ) |
PastorOluT: Don't u see this is pure lies that have no backing fact? Shaking my head***Please correct me. Do Jews believe in hell or not? If so please describe their hell here, is there fire in it like the version they exported to Africa? I can't wait. |
Toks2008: Nevertheless,i believe there is GOD who brings out good out of bad situations. So denying the existence of your God has brought him fame and fortune? Smh. You are referring to your particular God right? Is it Allah or Jesus? |
Jesus was not a handsome man. He was built like a middle eastern villager, or a marauding bum. Judas had to pick him out with a kiss, which indicates that he looked like the rest of the villagers and fishermen he was hanging out with. The handsome guy in the photos is just a recreation based on artistic bias. Nobody wants to serve the ugly God. |
staggerman: The carnal man is an enemy of God.We're all enemies of your God. Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Chinese people, all of us. Even the Jews, who are the chosen people of your God, deny his existence. What a mind puzzle. A few anonymous Jewish authors have done more damage to the African continent than even our worst imagination. They've got you caught in the matrix brother. |
This thread should be called, 'why do Christians think that Muslims are a little nicer than atheists?' Why are atheists denigrated by Christians when Muslims are also denying God's existence? The Christian God, that is, you know... Jesus. It is the belief in a personal deity which demands companionship. Christians don't care if someone prays to a rock or a tree, because it would validate their own delusion. They can blame the action on the usual culprit, Satan, and further their own delusion by trying to convert the rock worshipper over to their imaginary friend. If I was to suggest a cause, I'd say that the biggest obstacle facing the African Christian is pride. They're much too proud to admit that they could have been deceived on this level, that the universe is really mysterious. The implications for many of them, in their present socioeconomic environment, could be profound. And then there are those who just do not tolerate suspense too well. They must have an answer and Jesus is better than the available options. |
Idrismusty97: Even within Christianity some groups with a slightly different believes won't get to heaven. I see non Catholic Christians openly telling Catholics that they will go to hell. Jehovah's witness(Watch tower) have their own version of heaven. In Islam the Sunnis are fighting the Shi'as. That is just the basis of religion. It is design to favour a specify community or groups and demean all others(I don't even know how to put this). Show me one religion that wouldn't say their god is the true god, Show me one religion that wouldn't tell you to drop every other thing and join them. The first criteria is accepting that Jesus is your lord and savior. It is then out of that pool that the fortunate candidates will emerge. I find it amusing though that Judaism doesn't have too much to say about the afterlife. God's chosen people don't believe in the hellfire which terrifies the current enslaved African. In Judaism, punishment occurs here on earth and so do the rewards. This hellfire story is for the African man and his handful of anonymous Jewish authors. |
bizmahn: Because most atheists are satanists undercover & with specific instruction from their master to run down Christianity with "God does not exist" crusade. Why is atheism such a big deal? Jesus from the bible was very clear about who gets to enter heaven. Only those who accept him as lord and personal savior will get the chance. That means that Muslims might as well be atheists as far as Jesus is concerned. Are Muslims under instructions from Satan? Are Buddhists, Hindus, and Mormons carrying the Satan flag too? My friend, don't waste your mind. The answer is right before your eyes. |
doubleDx: One who is unwilling to learn and research new things but wait for scientific theories to cling to and use them as evidences that GOD doesn't exist is more ignorant than a herd of sheepleDude, we all use science for EVERYTHING in life. Science fails only when imaginary creatures are proposed for consideration. It works for everything else including toothpaste, gas, tv, internet, childbirth, condoms, firearms, heart transplants, egusi soup, everything. You expect me to dismiss the logic behind the successful operations of all these things and simply accept the word of an anonymous author from the middle east? |
Martian: The similarity in the stories is probably because the scope of knowledge possessed by these cultures were the same at that stage of human development. That or they practiced religious rituals using the same plants. Entheogens usually grow in the same geographical area. |
BraveGuy: Ok, atheists, I have a few questions for you.Atheists were never given a chance. The contents of the bible are silly enough that they represent an insult to the average human intelligence. Insulting someone is not the same as giving them a chance. Secondly, all non Christians, would have missed this 'obvious chance' to pick Jesus and would thereby find themselves in the exact position as the atheist. So enjoy heaven, you and the few Christians who end up making it, everyone else will be in hell, including your ancestors. |
krayzieklay: Well,I will but not now... The thing is; my parents know dat I'm not a religious person right from when they forced me to go for Arabic/islamic lessons during my teenage days. But like u rightly stated, they may attribute it to being young, blind and stuffs.. O.k,now I'm in my twenties, and its still d same stubborn, blind boy(according to them) . I really don't av probs with pops tho coz we don't get along... How to tell my mum iz d hurdle I need to scale through.. |
cococandy: Why are you angry?I'm not actually. You seem to be a reasonable person. The fact that you question Jesus teachings on hell is proof that you're not completely in the fog. It doesn't matter if you call yourself a Christian or not. We're both Christians if your position is permissible in the faith. I just believe in the Jesus who stays out of human affairs, which is not the biblical one, just like yours. |
cococandy: I'm christain because I was born one and I like Jesus' teachings. So you're not a Christian. The Jesus in your head is not the same one described in the bible. The biblical version clearly says that salvation can only come through him. That's the whole point of Christian ministry, winning souls for Jesus. There wouldn't be any need for preachers or evangelists if non Christians were not headed for hellfire. If you don't accept that doctrine, then pick another religion, Jesus is not your guy. I'm dying to know who you've been praying to this whole time you didn't believe in Jesus. SMH. |
biafranqueen: General Butt Naked joined him! Even if he falls down he can confess and get back up.Mr. Blahyee is afraid of facing justice. So he turned his life over to Christ in order to ward off any likelihood of prosecution. Apparently there is a statute of limitation on murder in Africa, and its called Jesus Christ. |
Vicjustice: I expect you guys know the difference between herbalist and witch-doctor.Witch doctors are herbalists who had a bad 'trip.' But they're still herbalists nonetheless. |
Okiki_Oluwa: There's something special about Jesus.Yea? Have you ever heard of Milton Blahyee? He's the Liberian cannibal who is rumored to have murdered thousands of children and dined on their corpses. He too is preaching the gospel now, having been miraculously converted by Jesus in one these frequently recurring Christian visions. Would you support his ministry? LOL. |
Trading one illusion for another. But he is still geeking on entheogens. |
alexleo: He made his contributions as an atheist. Both of you are not on the same platform of belief.Clearly the prophecies are not from God, and even your fellow Christian sees through them. The question is, why don't you? How long are you going to keep the image of a white man in your head? |
Joshthefirst: there is one set of people who mock- foolish men who are not convinced of their position. If you are referring to my position on this Paul fella and whether or not somebody called God spoke to him, then you're wrong. I'm absolutely convinced that he's making the s)hit up. All of those Jewish authors are telling tales. I've never met a Jew who tells the truth, whether in real life or print. Why should your authors be any different? How come Jews are the chosen tribe in a book written by Jewish authors? What's this whole silly thing where God is openly racist and black people aren't offended? Jews are white people, they were owners of slave ships. |
Goshen360: @ OP,What you are requesting is an actual divine prophecy, or an authentic revelation from God. Those only happen in the holy books, ink on paper. Real life is the one you see before your eyes everyday. We have big lottos now, with billions of dollars up for grabs. The lotto business could not exist if there was any truth to divine prophecies. Oyinbo no be madman. |
davidylan: When you run out of rational arguments, you resort to ad hominems and complete bizarre claims. Enjoy.Governments don't subsidize the ideology of people who believe in fairies. As long as churches continue to run their businesses without paying taxes, I will continue to ridicule the delusion. If the fairy people were to become entitled to tax free operations too, then they willl also share a piece of my mind. |
OLAADEGBU: That's where you problem lies. You will not accept 4 to be the answer of 2 + 2 because your mind is already made up and you will not be confused with the facts.Even you don't think that this is true. I don't believe that your authors had a chat with someone named God, Sir. I believe that the whole encounter thing is an elaborate lie. That line of reasoning does explain the nature of current events, unlike your lala land stories that only leave people with more and more silly questions. |
davidylan: this is getting silly. I wasnt channeling anything besides making an analogy. If by healing the sick you claim that Christ was advocating no use of a hospital then does that mean that by multiplying food He must have been advocating no buying of food or cooking ever again? I mean dont you see how completely obtuse that argument is?No. It's not an obtuse argument. You should buy one loaf of bread and multiply it until the original loaf spoils, and then buy another one. There is nothing impossible for your God, right? We have it on record. |
OLAADEGBU: You are left with ignorance because you have closed your eyes to the truth hence you depend of blind faith. The answer to 2 + 2 is 4 but because you don't like the shape of 4 you will accept any other answer except 4.You expect me to believe that you have the answers in a 2000 yr old manuscript written by men who claimed to have spoken to God somehow. Meanwhile, my eyes and ears see that others have made the exact same claim. People like the prophet Mohammed. The only difference between Paul from the bible and Mohammed from Islam is the message. But they both claimed to have encountered and spoken to somebody named God who created the earth. If Paul, Mohammed, and Matthew etc expect me to just trust them and take their word for it, as you and the Muslims have, then I say f()ck them. I don't believe the authors of your book, or the prophet Mohammed. So even if science had ZERO answers to anything, I still won't trust Paul or Mohammed enough to just take their word for it. I'd much rather trust someone African, even if he too is telling lies. |
You, along with these pastors and your prophecies, are exbiting the clearest signs of demonic possession, if in fact there is such a thing. You expect me to believe that an opinion piece represents information that fell from the sky to your head? Or was it revealed in your bosom? How did God tell you these things, Sir? That's the one million dollar question. If there was remotely any truth to these God encounters and sightings, believe me, you would be a threat to US national security, more than even that Caliph character in Iraq. |
OLAADEGBU: Everything. The whole atheistic evolutionary theory depends on the big bang as to the cause of the universe.Atheists don't depend on evolution or the big bang to know that the authors of your holy book are making the s)hit up. You are making an appeal to ignorance. Even if evolution and the big bang theories are false, we're still left with ignorance. If you then claim to have the answers, then submit them for peer reviewed scrutiny. Let's find out how you arrived at those answers. If you're going to tell me that they fell from the sky directly to the authors of your book, then prepare to demostrate. Otherwise, keep clutching unto your faith in your foreign authors, and let serious people investigate nature. |
Bvsteph: So God doesn't exist? No evidence of the biblical one. As far as God existing, it depends on your definition of God. |
ENIMONEY: u just spoke my mind! So all christians from diff countries and continents are lyingI own a rifle. LOL. |
Liveair: Anointing should prevent people falling and stampeding others at crusade grounds. Are you suggesting that they're all faking it? If they are, then we have a much larger problem on our hands. Zombie apocalypse stuff. Keep a rifle handy. |
Spotless180: So we shud nt use d internet or what?Who are you asking? I'm not that superstitious. LOL. Go and ask your pastor, it's his area of expertise. |
Another question, is there a penalty under Sharia for those who fail to observe the 5 daily Solat? I'm already aware of the quranic verses which explain Allah's attitude toward such person. |
