Number 52 is particularly impressive. A vice president's wife running a "small ice cream shop". If that happens today, it would be like she's under a curse. Yet, there's nothing wrong with that, just that vices have become virtues and vice versa in the present day Nigerian society. |
If Fashola's "sins" can be this many, I wonder how much sins would be listed for those overtly corrupt governors and ministers of the previous administration. |
I see more of prayers. |
I'm looking to hire a seasoned landing page designer to help me design a landing page for a premium e-book. I've already crafted the content for the page, so all I need is a compelling design that looks cool and professional. The landing page would be embedded on a WordPress blog, and all side attractions (sidebars, header banner, top navigation menu, etc) must be eliminated. In addition, the design must be responsive, so that it will look aesthetically alluring on mobile devices as well. If this is something you can do, send me an email (basicfreelance<AT>g.m.a.i.l.<DOT>com). Tell me your price, and send me links to landing pages you have designed in the past. This project is urgent, so act fast. I'll only be able to get back to people who tick my boxes in terms of expertise and pricing. Thank you. |
vislabraye:LOL! |
September never end now. We still have some hours. ![]() |
Mobebi:Click the link in my signature, and you'll land on my blog. |
fxbot:Well I'm not 100ksale. But I know him very well because we are business partners. We actually both met on Nairaland last year. What makes you think I'm 100ksale? |
Promise323:Oh, I didn't see this earlier. Since they sent it on 23rd, it should be received by GTB by 24th, which was a public holiday. I guess that's why you didn't see any action from GTB. So far, you've not been emailed that the transaction has been cancelled, that means GTB is still holding your money. So, wait until tomorrow for them to act. They should contact you by phone first before crediting your account. If they do, just tell them to go ahead to convert to Naira and credit it. As I'm typing this, I'm also expecting my $900+ earnings for last month. Even though the guys at Access bank called me on Wednesday to inform me of the money, they didn't credit my account that day. So, I'm waiting until Monday. PS. You don't need any domiciliary account. I don't have one, and I've been pocketing Adsense earnings since November 2014 -- directly to my account. |
Promise323:You don't have to cry. Stay cool. When did Adsense notify you that they've sent the money? |
Yes, it is possible. Provided you entered the correct SWIFT code, you should get your money within 48 hours. Otherwise, the transaction would be declined. Wait until Monday. The guys at GTB should call you to inform you of the transaction. |
peleson:Stop smoking fried weed. It won't help you! |
fxbot:Ask Linda Ikeji what her blog URL is and she'll tell you it's Lindaikeji..com. The. com.ng version of her domain was created automatically. If you enter lindaikeji..co.in, lindaikeji..co.uk, or lindaikeji..co.ke, you will still get redirected to her blog. That's one peculiarity of Blogger blogs. So, many people with a strictly Nigerian IP get automatically redirected to lindaikeji..com.ng, not that she created that domain name herself. As for branding, yes you may be right to some extent. But do you the number of people who enter jumia.com instead of jumia..com.ng? Or have you ever wondered why Jumia and Co would do anything to encourage you to download their app? It's to prevent you from visiting the wrong site while trying to remember the correct URL. Whether you spend on branding or not, the fact remains that most people will always start their guesses with .com before considering. com.ng. |
Firstly, this thread shows the unpardonable reason I would always steer clear of. com.ng or. ng domains: www.nairaland.com/62490/all-nigerian-sites-ng-domains Secondly, they are not easily as "guessable" as. com domains. the average Nigerian who cannot remember a domain name's extension would punch in. com first. As for those saying it gives an SEO advantage, that's not an exclusive benefit. While it's true a. com.ng or. ng domain will boost local SEO rankings, you can always get the same -- or even better -- results by geotargeting your blog or website to Nigeria using Google Search Console (formerly Google Webmaster Tools). |
Being a freelance writer myself, I'm a stickler for high quality content. I mean content that is free of grammatical, style, spelling, and punctuation errors. For some time now, I've been on the lookout for an outstanding Nigerian writer to help me handle excess client assignments that I can't handle myself. But each time I try out a writer with the aim of working with him or her over the long term, I get disappointed. However, all that stopped when I found DMLords. DMLords crafts high quality content that will attract the reader's attention from the beginning to the end, and more importantly prompt the reader to take any action required. DMLords is an outstanding writer. DMLords rocks! --Abass Toriola (Freelance Writer. Blogger. Internet marketer.) |
coolsix:So far Nigeria is among the list of countries to which direct deposit is offered, it will be possible, regardless of the bank used by Fiverr. I'm sure Adsense and Elance use different banks. Yet, I receive withdrawals from both into my Access account. |
coolsix:Don't be so pessimistic. The same bank transfer works in Nigeria for Google Adsense and Elance withdrawals. I'm sure of those because I withdraw from both directly into my Access Bank account. So, I'm sure this will work, too. |

mjames:Should someone who said "nothing" be given a response? |
Direct your complaints to their customer support. |
onatisi:So, if he hadn't changed his religion, he could have found his way up again and even become the world best? Bros, this has nothing to do with religion. At over 30, every striker starts to experience a career decline. |
This is what happens when parents are of the silly "I don't want my children to suffer like I did" mindset. You'll see such moronic parents applying for jobs and even going as far as as writing exams (as in this case) on behalf of their children who are probably clubbing or pinging away their lives somewhere. Nonsense! |
Doubleoo, nice posts you have here. I would like to feature you in an interview on my blog (WebIncomePlus.com). Kindly give me your email address. |
Yes, I have -- from the Amazon Affiliate program, and other online moneymaking schemes and programs. |
The fact that you saw traces of blood indicates that you actually penetrated, albeit incompletely. And in that case, chances are high that you got her pregnant (ruling out the fact that she didn't try to play a fast one). Even if you didn't penetrate, the fact that you erupted close to the usual place still makes pregnancy a possibility -- your fluid could have dripped into the "rightful" place. So, your best bet is to take child for a paternity test. If it comes out positive, accept your responsibility. |
Let's face it, Nigerians don't search for buses on Google. You'd better be realistic with your choice of keywords, and be wary of anyone promising you bridges where there are no rivers. |
adedayourt:LOL! |
And where is the love? |
Agbim would be a nice replacement. ![]() |
By the way, there are many other niches that are less competitive but are also very lucrative for Nigerian bloggers. Check out the detailed list and analysis here: http://webincomeplus.com/online-business-in-nigeria/ |
