It think is very much possible. You just need to initiate the process of filling the ds 160 and get your app id which will be d same as d confirmation code required to book. u can even change this after booking. by entering the confirmation code of a new ds 160 you wish to present on d interview day.

As u have noticed, I've been trying to get somethings clear abt means of financial support.

Does it really matter if my I-20 states someone as a means of support and someone else on my ds 160??

Hurray! I just picked Dec 21, 10am now. My sleepless night is over but I like more earlier dates in Dec if I see and I guess more Dec gonna open this midnight.

Your friend can buy a 200USD money order in your name and mail it to Sevis adddress, after a few days, you can check your payment status on the fmjfee website and print your receipt.

@webstrada your uncle can swear an affidavit of support, can be done @ any high court 4 a token, his bank can also give u a reference letter to show d account is real and your uncle gave you d statement, just my own thinking

I have just booked my appointment for Nov 9 (Abuja), the only available 2011 date I found. Can someone please help me out with a sample of a convincing Affidavit/Letter of Sponsorship (sponsor will be my uncle with a different surname)? Besides his statement of account and sponsorship letter, what other documents will I need from him?

What if I request for a new I-20 indicating family sponsorship? Am beginning to think its best to keep it simple, it's either I am self-sponsoring (which most people advised against) or being sponsored. Peeps, please what do you all think?

@webstradimus-don't bother about ds-160,u don't need sponsor's info on it. [b]Man,having inticated u alone as self-sponsor n den u later use another person(relative) alone as sponsor is a big discrepency n could raise irrelevant questions/red-flags during interview. [/b]My advice is:u can go 4 d interview with two bank statiis(urs n relative's),pin-pointing that u r sponsoring urself with full support of your relative. Pls,u have to present documentations dat clearifies the fact that your relative will as well sponsor u.

Kay-dee, it turns out the link my supposed 'guru' friend sent me was wrong,  I took time to do it on my own and I just need some basic info. If the rates goes down a bit, I'll make the payment on monday,  Nobody's saying anything about cameroun o, lol. Yes, geology. Minnesota state uni,

I've been going frm bank 2 bank all to no avail. Finally when i thought have got the bank( fin bank) said is #4000.00 including to process everything. I dnt knw this bank people r just wicked.

By tommorow i will keep searching where to buy the e-traansact form.
