With my limited knowledge and my physical senses I have the evidence that God created the world. When I look at a building, how do I know that there was a builder? I couldn't want a better evidence that there was a builder than to have the building in front of me. I don't even need faith to know that there was a builder. All I need are eyes that can see and a brain that can think.

The same principle applies to God's creation (world). When I look at creation, how can I know that there was a Creator? Creation reveals to me that there is a Creator (God). I couldn't want a better evidence that there is a Creator than to have the creation in front of me. I don't need faith to believe in a Creator, all I need are eyes that can see and a brain that can think.

"For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse" (Romans 1:20).

But if I want the builder to do something for me, then I need to have faith in the builder. Likewise God, for

"Without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6).

If you need to know more about God you need faith based on His Word and World and a conscience that works.

Good day everybody. So I have lived with poliomelythis for more than two decades now. I have strived so much to achieve alot for myself because I never allowed my situation deter me from achieving my goals in life.

Everything has been going on smoothly: Education up to MSc level, a job, a car and things a man can acquire and say he has reached a level of comfort.

The one thing I'm yet to get is to be in a stable relationship. 99% of the girls I've dated never took me serious and we never lasted long. Some will even take advantage to chop my money and bail after a while. It got to a point I had a bitter negative stereotype thinking all women are mainly out there to exploit a man.

It wasnt until earlier this year when I met someone who changed the horoscope. Like she is so down to earth and actually loved me for me, without even looking at my paralysis. Things were going smoothly until she started becoming aggressive and emotional over little issues.

It took a while but she was able to open up to let me know how her family vehemently told her they dont want to see her with someone like me. They also threatened to disown her if she insisted on being with me.

Currently, we decided to stop seeing each other for the sake of peace to reign in her family. We do keep communication on a 100. We both love each other genuinely and we do not want us to split just like that.

What do we do?

See, I was once in your shoe and the more I remained firm in my conviction about non existence of God, the more confused I was.

Christ suffered, likewise his disciples. He enjoyed too just like disciples. In the end, He was so pragmatic by telling them that all believers would face tribulations, but also promised them that none will overcome them if they believe.

Just an experience in a Church where tithes are being effectively utilized to cater for education of orphans, widow and widowers, poor and needy would change your mind unlike all these sole proprietors calling themselves Daddies.

However, please be reminded that you ate still alive while many have died through the same malaria you had. Yet, you claimed that God refused to answer your prayer. Remember, Stella, Yaradua etc were attended to at best hospitals and Drs in the world, but it doesn't guarantee their sound health. This is what is called grace and it is only given by God.

Having Chief Security Officer didn't guarantee your safety.

Being attended to by the best Drs in the best hospitals does not guarantee good health.

Best mansion does not guarantee happy home.

If so, why claiming non existence of God even when our traditional believe did not claim otherwise?

You had a terrible stomach ulcer, you prayed and made several promises to God that if He took away the ulcer, you will refrain from such. You stopped drinking and took to taking my drugs more seriously. Weeks later, you became well and immediately returned to drinking and after a few months, the ulcer resurfaced. Who are you deceiving? You broke a promise you have made. Now, you are enjoying the consequence.

Whatever a man sows, so shall he reap. If taking drugs is all what is required to get healed, I think our society is supposed to be free of patients by now.

Now, compare your sentence above with the fruit of the spirits listed in the Bible and tell us which one fits in. Christianity is not about instant miracles and problem free life you were envisaging. Guard your loins cos there is no perfect life in religion but in Christ alone.
