chieveboy: I did not hear myself mentioning any religion. Talking about "religion", where did you get this? Science? I do not think so. All things are Thought expressed. The bolden should have been what you said. But if you are balanced, you actually love life and indulge with it with new (informed) vigor as mentioned. You understand that it is an illusion, but you get the grand scope and purpose of it as intended by most enlightened of all--the Supreme Deity. That is actually not it I'm sorry. Balancing actually comes from a lot of knowledge of how why one needs to implement it, how and when. You may be assuming that knowledge leads to imbalance, but it is actually a 'knowledgeable ignorance ' or 'half knowledge' and actions from such that leads to spiritual imbalances. Think of someone who realizes plants are souls and they stop eating them out of guilt. That's half knowledge. Sorry again, nothing is good or bad in itself. Nothing is vanity in itself. Everything is both real and unreal. You spoke about a fine line earlier... Like I was explaining to a Christian Curser above, both the red and blue pill made of same thing. Without the other, the other is useless and would not exist. Both are usefull for the grand purpose of why the "unreal" worlds exist and why Souls are made to partake in it. Now I think you're a Jedi. Lol. There's a cost for everything in this life. You give something to get back another thing. Knowledge is not exempt. And if you look well, you'll see that the happiest people are the most ignorant people. They just catch their fun without thinking. But with knowledge, you begin to measure everything. |

Doctordan: Regardless of whether there is exchange of body fluids or not, (or for that matter, whether the man is using protection or not), as long as the couple have sex, the spiritual transaction will still take place. The two are joined and will become one. This is the raw truth, take it or leave it. Truth according to who? Tell us where that is written in the Bible. If you can't just keep quiet. If you're indeed a Christian, you will know better than to make claims when the bible did not say so. I acknowledge the message here - no sex outside of marriage - simple. But to start "adding" things to the scriptures - God did not send you to do that. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Failing To Marry A Woman You Deflowered Has Consequences, Pastor Olukoya Warns by WeirdAlien: 3:20pm On Mar 24, 2025 |
Doctordan: The bible tells us that when two people have sex, they are no longer two but one. Dr Olukoya is not trying to misquote the bible in any way. He was merely pointing out(in reference to that information from the bible) the problem that comes as a result of having careless sex. Moreover , it doesn't matter if the man used condom. Spiritual transactions from sex does not respect protection worn during the act. Even if a lady doesn't have a demon, fornication is still sinful and wrong. "The two shall become one flesh" - may be misinterpreted. This could just mean the zygote that is formed when the sperm meets the egg. Else if you're indeed one flesh with your wife, why don't you have malaria when she does? Why don't you feel the same pain at the same time as your partner? Using a condom means there's no exchange of body fluids or DNA. There needs to be a contact for any transaction (or covenant) to be made. What you said (bolded), the Bible didn't say that. This is not to say extramarital sex is not a sin. It is sin in every way. But we shouldn't quote bible out of context to buttress a point and create fear. We should start "dividing word of truth carefully" and not just quote Bible inaccurately, even if we're making a valid point. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Failing To Marry A Woman You Deflowered Has Consequences, Pastor Olukoya Warns by WeirdAlien: 11:50pm On Mar 23, 2025 |
One, the Bible didn't say that. That is the absolute standard for any Christian teaching today. Two, what if he used condom and the blood didn't touch him at all? Three, what consequences? What if she's child of God with no demonic presence around her?
Let's focus on teaching the gospel and leave these matters. The Holy Spirit will lead you to say and do good things. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Since Jesus Told His Disciples This... by WeirdAlien: 11:34pm On Mar 23, 2025 |
chieveboy: People pursuing mysticism especially online like to make this statement. I can assure you that most people who "disconnect" are people who are actually imbalanced spiritually and did not have the real spiritual enlightenment. The actual people who have the main thing embrace life with new vigor although with a new understanding about the place of things they once held and accepted differently.
Spiritual Imbalance is the portion enjoyed by most people who have gone "crazy". Enlightenment when pursued through hook and crook (drugs, certain herbs, magic, etc) is sure to lead to an imbalance which is not so different from insanity.
This is why anyone who pursues it must do so firstly with the purest of intentions, and then they must as a matter of necessity follow a teacher who had reached the basic submit of God-realization itself to show them the way and guide them. Else they hang out with imposters and crooks in the high places.
{quote} Most people think deep knowledge will make them more successful in this world, but the more they know, the less everything in this world will mean to them.
This is true, but the application of the 'balancing principle' in life ( 'Rightful Discrimination') would give you the possessor of knowledge edge and the insight to not be for or against anything. This means you could accumulate money simply because it is needed to accomplish a goal, and no longer as result of greed, lust or vanity.
Really, just enjoy your life and look forward to the last day, when all crooked things would be made straight. I'm not suggesting the "Christianity" you know through the churches. Christ's message is almost something else entirely. I don't know how wide you've seen. But if you have, you'd agree every major religion made mention of Jesus Christ (called different names).
My brother, there is no "Last day". Time exists NOW. FOREVER is what we are actually experiencing. This is why I made this post to ask Christians and present the idea of going beyond their physical sense to see time as it really is. Doing so will allow you see the future and know whaetever Christians are brought up to believe they can only know when they die or only in the "sweet bye and bye".
People are already doing it. Going to heaven daily and waking up to report what they see and know. Scientists too have found a way to do it. Everything you said here is based on your religious convictions, be it organised religion or a societal body. I don't know which, but you sound like Eck. Religion is just light (God) passing through a prism (man), manifesting in many colours. Either way, you've quoted me out of context. I'm not talking about running mad, or becoming spiritually imbalanced. I'm talking about the humility, self and environmental awareness that comes with deep knowledge. How you manage that is the fine line between "enlightened"and "insane". The "balancing principle" you mentioned is simply put - limiting your depth of knowledge. And if you wanna know, the things we enjoy in this life are all vanity, intangible, elusive, surreal.... None of it is real. When you come to this reality, you got two options - the blue pill or the red pill. I've never met anyone who chose red in person. Time itself is a dimension like length and width. There's always a starting point and an endpoint from the perspective of the observer. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Since Jesus Told His Disciples This... by WeirdAlien: 8:25pm On Mar 23, 2025 |
chieveboy: I believe you are recommending Christianity here when the actual people who posses hidden knowledge are mostly not Christians negating the idea that God reveals things only to those who follow him the Christian way. There is a price for knowledge. It's like suddenly waking up from the matrix. Everything you once loved and cherished, all the things you enjoyed will turn to nonsense and ashes in your eyes. You will never see this world the same again. It might look trivial, but the people around you will notice your disconnect from "their reality". Most people think deep knowledge will make them more successful in this world, but the more they know, the less everything in this world will mean to them.Really, just enjoy your life and look forward to the last day, when all crooked things would be made straight. chieveboy: But this may largely not be their fault. They are made to look no other place other than the Bible for information.
The Bible does not form a complete compendium for knowledge, else, we would be studying it to become doctors, physicists and so on. There's a lot of knowledge in the Bible. But even as a Christian, I will tell you it is not comprehensive enough, even for deep spiritual knowledge and mysteries. But what I'd say is that, live your life with a pure heart towards people, with deep reverence to the maker of the heaven and earth, his son and spirit. At the end of everything, all the hidden knowledge will become plain sight. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Who Is The Prince Of Persia? by WeirdAlien: 6:20pm On Mar 23, 2025 |
Simply put - senior demons who ruled the Persian kingdom. Today, every country has a prince ruling over it spiritually. Not just countries - states/provinces, regions, continents, etc These princes are responsible for immorality, poverty, terrorism, sexual perversion, corruption, street violence, epidemics, mass deaths, etc. - making people suffer and lose divine consciousness. This is why every country has a certain societal problem that rages on. When you sell your soul to the devil, the princes give you wealth in exchange for propagating their wishes through your music or movies. When Jesus said He has given us the authority to overcome all the powers of the enemy, He was telling us we would rise above the influence of these princes in our world. This is how it works. |

But if you read the scriptures very carefully, with an objective mind, you'll see that our churches have totally derailed, especially in Nigeria. And if you're indeed a Christian, you will not be contributing to that derailment because you don't want to "neglect the meetings". |

immortalcrown: 1. And nothing in the scripture says it is right to go against the advice.
2. And nothing in the post says that the poster joins with his family members to worship God.
3. And nothing in the post says the poster is talking about whether going to Church should be daily, weekly, monthly or yearly.
So, you have only succeeded in embarrassing yourself. 1. Use your judgement (as led by the Spirit). Approach it on case by case basis. 2. Nothing in the post says the poster does not join with his family members. 3. Nothing in the post says the poster will not now or later find other forms of fellowship. You speak like someone without independence of thought. Symptoms of people who never took time to understand the scriptures beyond what pastors told them. The truth of the gospel should set you free, not put you in the bondage of what we call "church" that strings you with fear and guilt. |
Christianity Etc › Re: “why I Stopped Going To Church – My Painful Experience With RCCG” by WeirdAlien: 1:54pm On Mar 02, 2025 |

Hebrew 10:25 says, "Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching." That scripture is not a commandment but an advice. And nothing in the scriptures says it must be a weekly meeting, or Sunday, or a place called "church". As a matter of fact, it could just be a gathering of extended family and friends, or neighbours, all who are believers. |

How will others like and trust a people who hate themselves??We should tell ourselves the truth and be responsible for our fate, and not keep blaming the white for our predicaments. |

The people who hate other people based on the color of their skin, their religion or culture.
If a white man was to work with any Nigerian hard labor job, I guarantee you, nobody will stab him to death based on his skin color.
But there is something about white people and this innate hatred towards black people. Black people hate themselves more than white people hate them! The level of tribalism in Nigeria is more than the level of racism in a white country. |
