Christianity EtcRe: “We Should Spend Less On Ourselves And More On Others” –T.B Joshua Tells Pastors by Welder(op): 6:32pm On Dec 07, 2012
Methinks other pastors and men of God should take a cue from this man. True service involves giving, sharing and sacrifice, something you feel is non-existent in the current bunch.
Christianity Etc“We Should Spend Less On Ourselves And More On Others” –T.B Joshua Tells Pastors by Welder(op):
Nigerian preacher TB Joshua reacted with horror to reports that people in Zimbabwe wishing to visit Nigeria for healing sessions have been paying $100 registration fees. He has ordered immediate refunds.

He said in a statement: “I have received many emails and newspaper reports on the internet complaining of registration fees of $100. What then makes us an evangelist? When people go to concerts, they also register with $100. If we are evangelists, co-ordinating for God’s sake, all our concerns, aspirations and heart desires must be subjected to the gospel through works of charity by helping the sick, distressed and unsaved instead of collecting registration fees of $100 from them before giving succour, I mean, attending to them.

“This cannot be justified; it amounts to taking a portion of their situation. Your promise, if I may remind you, was to give rest to the sick, distressed and unsaved. If we are focused on making money only, a large slice of life will pass us by.”

Prophet TB Joshua, castigated ‘men of God’ who are living large at the expense of their followers.

“We should spend less on ourselves and more on others,” he said.

Music/Radio2012 Grammy Nominations: Kanye West Tops The List! Wale Gets Nominated by Welder(op):
For the second year in a row, a hip-hop artist is leading the pack in Grammy nominations.

Although his name was only called for one category during Wednesday’s (November 30) “Grammy Nominations Concert Live!!,” Kanye West walked away with a leading seven nods, following the hip-hop trend set by last year’s leading nominee, Eminem. He’s nominated for his Watch the Throne joint album with Jay-Z and also picked up a few nominations including Song of the Year for his powerhouse collaborative track “All of the Lights,” which features Rihanna, Fergie and Kid Cudi. He’s even nominated against himself, with Watch the Throne and his own My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy nabbing Rap Album of the Year nods.

West was followed by this year’s critical darling, Adele, who is tied with the Foo Fighters and Bruno Mars for six nods each. Lil Wayne and dance-music breakout Skrillex each garnered five nods.

While the Grammys have a reputation for catering to an older demographic (Robert Plant and Alison Krauss for 2009 Album of the Year, anyone?), this year’s nominees are notably young, with 34-year-old West looking downright geriatric next to fellow nominees Adele (23), Rihanna (23), Lady Gaga (25) and Bruno Mars (26).

Hey Come on guys,

You did a transfer with your dom acount to a foreign bank. The recipient should have received the funds within 48hours although this process is longer as there are instant transfers where the beneficiary can receive the funds instanta. Just enquire from your local branch on the current status of your funds as this is an anomaly. I actually bank with FirstBank and i dare say their service is unrivalled in the banking industry.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)QPR Sack Mark Hughes & Appoint Harry Redknapp by Welder(op): 12:09pm On Nov 23, 2012
Mark Hughes has been sacked as manager of QPR - and Harry Redknapp has been appointed as his replacement.
Hughes's assistant manager Mark Bowen will take Rangers, winless and rock-bottom of the Barclays Premier League, to Old Trafford tomorrow with former Tottenham boss Redknapp in the stands.
Redknapp will take formal charge of the team on Sunday.

Hughes's position has been hanging in the balance all week after defeat to Southampton at Loftus Road, a match dubbed 'El Sackico'.
The former Manchester United striker had been preparing his team for the clash at Manchester United with the expectation that he would be on the touchline.
However, owner Tony Fernandes finally snapped this morning, showing Hughes, who had replaced, Neil Warnock the door after 10 months.
Fernandes gave an interview to US TV station Bloomberg yesterday and would not back Hughes.

Hughes has been walking a tightrope since QPR lost at Arsenal on October 27. Fernandes was set to sack him then but had a change of heart and has tried to support him.
They have not won all season but have an easier run of fixtures coming - and a new manager will be licking his lips at that prospect.
More to follow....

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Chelsea Sack Roberto Di Matteo by Welder(op): 10:29am On Nov 21, 2012
Chelsea have sacked Roberto Di Matteo following their 3-0 defeat to Juventus on Tuesday evening which has put the club's prospects of qualifying for the Champions league knockout stage in doubt.

A statement on Chelsea's official website read: "Chelsea Football Club has parted company this morning with Manager Roberto Di Matteo.

"The team's recent performances and results have not been good enough and the owner and the Board felt that a change was necessary now to keep the club moving in the right direction as we head into a vitally important part of the season.

"The club faces a difficult task ahead in qualifying for the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League as well as maintaining a strong challenge for the top of the Premier League while competing in three other cup competitions. Our aim is to remain as competitive as possible and challenge strongly on all fronts.

"The owner and the Board would like to thank Roberto for all he has done for the club since taking over in March. Roberto helped guide us to an historic Champions League victory and a seventh FA Cup. We will never forget the huge contribution he has made to this club's history and he will always be welcome at Stamford Bridge.

"The club will be making an announcement shortly regarding a new first team manager."
