bluefilm: It is no error at all. Some useless group of looters floated the idea so that they can make some money from the scheme. They now saw the backlash that followed, and they subsequently retrieved their steps. Dasal. Simple question, where they sent by the government. LASG will not hide under some fraudster to do what it wants to do. |

Teewhy2: All na wash, they wanted to implement it for everyone before so they tested the water by releasing the message on twitter but when they found every criticism they quickly retrieved the idea or do they want to say they information before passed to the government official handle nobody in FIRS saw the communique , same thing happened with LASG on 5% tax on online movies. there is power in unity, even they way they communicate to citizens is always like Master- slave communications forgetting that we voted them in and that power is not forever. Pele oo water tester, nothing satisfies you. There was an error which they have admitted, but agenda mist agend for you guys. |

myBraine: I[s]magine?
Prior to me watching the YouTube video above, I initially thought that the narval officer was guilty of the allegation issued against him but after perusing the video content, it came to my realization that the task officers were suffering from intellectual superiority.
Knowing fully well that the officer was a loner as at the time of the incident, they preyed on him by taking advantage of that and exploited him in groups.
He is a military man for crying out loud. Maneuvering his way through BRT lane shouldn't be the topic of discussion. Lagos roads are usually busy and this man has to reach his destination on time (mostly for the sake of bloody civilians).
For those of us that has been privileged to travel by air before, we violently and ridiculously trespassed international airspace just to reach our desired countries on time. Now, imagine if those countries we trespassed on began firing us missiles from their military airbase, how many of us will still be alive today?
I am standing with this Naval officer, not because I am a military or a paramilitary man but solely because I am a man with an eccentric mindset and a functioning brain[/s]. Rubbish |

Less than a week after resumption of international flights, they are already smuggling drugs The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Special Area Command, has intercepted 1.6 kilogramme of controlled drugs suspected to be Tramadol and Flunitrazepam.
The Head of Public Affairs, NDLEA, Mr Jonah Achema, disclosed this in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Abuja.
Achema said that the drugs, which were destined for Istanbul, Turkey, barely a few days after the resumption of international flights, was an unusual drug trafficking trend.
He said that the command made the seizure from Mr Michael Chukwuka, during the outward clearance of passengers boarding the Turkish Airlines flight to Istanbul, Turkey.
According to him, the usual trend is the illegal importation of Tramadol from Pakistan and India into the country and not the exportation of illicit Tramadol.
“The seizures are made up of 1.250 kilograms of Tramadol and 350 grams of flunitrazepam and were concealed in two Ghana-must-go bags.
“The Tramadol is in 200, 225, and 250 milligrams, respectively. These are above the 100-milligram threshold permissible for legitimate use and anything above is illegal.
“Chukwuka, aged 36 and an indigene of Imo State claimed to be ignorant of the content of the bag.
“And that he was given the bags at the Airport entrance in Abuja to deliver to a Nigerian woman who deals in foodstuff in Istanbul.
“He said he did not know the woman but one Mr Paul, her husband in Warri, gave the consignment to one man to bring to him at the airport,” Achema quoted him as saying.
Achema, however, said that the suspected drug trafficker who worked in a Cargo Office in Istanbul, had lived there together with Paul for many years.
He said that the suspect travelled to Nigeria in March and got trapped by the Coronavirus pandemic during which period, he equally became cash-strapped and had to reach out to friends to enable him to validate his return-ticket.
The Commander, NDLEA, Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Mr Kabir Taskuwa, said that the arrest and seizure coming less than a week after the resumption of international flights at Abuja International Airport was a clear indication that the drug traffickers were desperate.
According to him, we are equally determined. Most importantly, we need to be extra-vigilant because smuggling Tramadol to Turkey was strange.
“This is suggesting that there is an emerging tramadol market in some of these countries,” Tsakuwa noted https://www.today.ng/news/metro/ndlea-intercepts-1-6-kilograms-controlled-drugs-route-turkey-318167/amp?__twitter_impression=true
