Politics › Emergency: Condoms, Narcotic Drugs Flood Boko Haram Camps by wellmax(op):
Indications that Boko Haram insurgents who say they are against Western education and anything to do with the west, have been deceitful, emerged yesterday after troops found packs of condoms, used and unused, in their camps.

Also found were syringes and narcotic drugs believed to have been used by the insurgents to get high before embarking on their deadly attacks.

A statement by the Director, Defence Information, Brig-General Chris Olukolade entitled, ‘Life in Terrorists Camp: Condoms Everywhere’, reads, “More of the dirty sides of the insurgents’ life style are being revealed as troops continue to stumble on strange and bizarre objects such as several used and unused condoms as well as charms and amulets of various shapes seen in the captured terrorists’ camps.
“Other common items are syringes, test tubes and hand gloves usually found in the rubbles of most of the destroyed camps.

“Apart from chemicals and materials for producing Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) narcotics of all types are also found to be common features as troops combed through camps in Sambisa forest, New Marte, and others.

“Meanwhile, Defence Headquarters (DHQ) Assessment teams are in Yobe and Adamawa States to update the reports on the conduct of security operations in those states since deployment of troops in line with the State of Emergency.

Dewze: you r a funny person. U sound like one tht hs made up his mind to hate even if u r not objective abt it. It is the National Assembly's job to correct things like this and nt the president.
U shld first know how responsibilities are shared in Govt before commenting on issues like this.

Hate, but hate objectivly.
National Assembly or GEJ, this goes to show how corrupt this government is.

We must resolve today that our nation Nigeria despite all the flaws we painfully know is worth our every hope 4 her greatness, We must move beyond mere hope for Nigeria's greatness to offer unflinching sacrifice of self in every good work to realize it.
Politics › Re: How Would OBJ Have Handled Amaechi by wellmax(m): 5:32pm On May 28, 2013
bloggernaija: The governors obj went after were not performer .apart from ngige who started performing after his trouble started and tinubu who was too hard to rumble , the rest were actually corrupt non performers.
Note that OBJ was at the peak of his popularity then with the GSM thing , debt repayment and dealing a blow to militicians via mass retrenchment.
He easily outshone and out performed all the people he went after
The reverse is the case here.amaechi ,for all his sin, easily outshines GEJ in virtually every category.he is one of a few governors who have taken the definition of performance to another lvl in nigeria.
Nice one

Christianity Etc › Re: Should Churches Pay Appearance Fee To Guest Speakers? by wellmax(m): 11:33pm On May 26, 2013
I think its wrong, and it's equal to comercializing the Gospel. My church only give gifts to the invited speakers. That's why we've restrcited ourselves to 'home' grown speakers. The other day, a friend was telling me how his church budgets N1.5M to pay for invited MCs and musicians, I thinks its a waste.

If I may ask, of what use is this NGF? It ought to be disbanded. Govs should go back and govern their states.

Sports › Europa League Winners To Get Champions League Spot by wellmax(op): 10:19pm On May 24, 2013
qualify for the elite competition from 2015.

In an attempt to increase the prestige of its secondary competition, UEFA also said 16 teams rather than the current six would qualify directly for the group stages.

The Europa League winners will enter at the playoff stage but could even gain direct access to the group stage if the Champions League winners also qualify via their domestic league position, thus freeing up a place in the group stage.

UEFA has also ruled that a maximum of five teams from any one country would be able to compete in the Champions League from 2015-16.

This means in the unlikely event of the winners of the Champions League and the Europa League coming from the same country but finishing outside the top four, the team who finished fourth in their domestic league would not take part in the Champions League but go into the Europa League instead.

Also, if the Europa League winners had qualified for the following season’s Champions League through their domestic league position, the Europa League runners-up would not get a Champions League berth.
