Maybe that is your problem, you are attempting to explain the verse without paying attention to the contextual message intended by its author. Again, go back through the context and make sure you follow it to see what Jesus Christ is telling you of His person and Kingdom.

1. And the same Son told you how to honor the Son did He not in John 14 vs 15 -23? Explaining further in John 15 vs 1 - 15 that it is by honoring Him — doing as He commands of you — that you then Honor even His Father and are then loved by His Father. So, what exactly is your confusion in this?

2. Seems you need to start using your mind more and stop with those bible lectures.

■ Jesus Christ did not stop the woman from shouting praises at Mary, rather He informed the woman that God's blessings in His Kingdom belong instead to those who live their lives in submission and obedience to His teachings and commandments.
■ Jesus's coming as the King of Israel was prophesied by the prophets where it was not against God to have the King hailed, and as such He had no reason to stop the people there. Many of those people who hailed Him were probably among those who stoned Him as He walked to the cross days later
■ To His followers, Jesus Christ made clear that He did not desire praises from humans meaning that they did not need to hail Him but rather were best doing as He commanded of them instead.

I graduated a few months ago and am going for my nysc program, but during my school days I use two sittings in my olevel, which are waec and neco.
But now I was cross-checking it, and I saw in my WEEC that my name is

I hope it won't affect me as much as the three times I am about to go to NYSC camp. I just want to be sure.

You clearly rejected God's very own definition of the sin. So what did you expect me to do in this case?

Well, do you accept what is stated in the following passage as the Truth of God?
If no, then it means you reject God. If yes, then what are you intending to accomplish by way of this argument?

Again, you are not making any sense. Clearly, the Son told you that it is not by way of your praises that He is honored but rather by way of your obedience to His teachings and commandments that you show your love for Him - John 14 vs 15 - 23. Slow down and carefully process what is stated so you are able to gain an understanding of what even the passage you quoted is saying to you.

Think on this, if the only way to honor/love the Son is by doing only that which the Son in fact commanded, and as it turns out the Son never, in fact, asked you to sing His praises, then surely you can see that it is meaningless to sing him praises.

As for that written in Luke 19, those crying out are blessed is the King, read Jesus Christ's response to the similar blessing on his person in Luke 11 vs 27 - 28. Clearly, He does not desire your praises but rather intends for you to Obey His teachings and commandments - John 15 vs 14
