This book brings back a lot of memories.
folk tales stories that we believe to be real when we were kids only to grow and realize there weren’t.

These stories were so soothing to us as kids and widened our imagination.

But We were lied to in our childhood.

But you see this Gen Z kids, they ain’t experiencing that now with TikTok and other social media taking over.
Lolz they are even wiser cause they won’t even believe any animal story we tell them, They would rather google it.

I remember at night when my pops would sit me down after eating Eba and banga soup and tell me story about the cat that got a bell tied to his neck to alert the rats of his arrival so they could run away just in time before his arrival .

Or is it the tortoise that kept eating yams he didn’t work for ? Then he got caught and thrown into hot fire only for him to laugh saying the fire couldn’t hurt him. Then they threw him into the sea and off he went, escaped,what a cunning animal lol

Even though I condemn the killing by the police, I also condemn why some people like to be aggressive with armed policemen when stopped.
As in, it just makes no sense! Because if anything tragic happens, the odds is somehow still in their favor.

Safety Tips:
Police study your body language. Don't take that for granted. They study body language and your method of response. If they stop you, be as friendly and cooperative as you can. No arguments, don't delay when asked any question(s). Once they stop you, off the car, but stay in it, unless they ask you to step out.

If they ask what you do for a living, save yourself the explanation and present your working ID Card. If they ask what is in your boot, don't ever say 'Nothing!' Since you know you're clean, get down and open it for them to see.

If they ask to see what is in your bag, open it for them.

If they ask to check your phone, unlock it and give them. (Your safety comes first, because anything or point they notice you lag, forget it you're endangering your safety).

If they ask for your license, give them it.

If they ask for your papers, present it.

Don't always do the answering with words when action is required, and maintain a calm, smiling composure.

With these, they'd have no choice than to let you go, 'without the normal "Anything for the boys?" Because they might not know who you are!

So, save yourself from unnecessary harassment at times.

I know not all policemen are sane, yes. But believe me, these tips works even on the insane ones among them.

You are intelligent, init? If you couldn't learn ordinary English language, is it programming or medicine and surgery that you can learn?

For goodness sake, we were taught English language for over 12 years in Nigeria (nursery to university).

Some footballers learnt passable English in a couple of years after taking classes, so nothing justifies not learning English after taking the class for over a decade and you still consider yourself intelligent.

The common belief of Nigerians seeing someone with a bad English as an illiterate. Most Chinese and Russians can not speak good English, but they're very good in the fields you stated above.
