Abagworo:So says your paymaster. What else is new? |
Iamwrath:Poor choice of words from the op. I think he meant to say "money spinning" |
Other than the roof of this house, are you contracted for other aspects of the construction? |
![]() When will these bloody crooks recommend a cut in their pay as palliative measure to bring down the cost of running government? These breed of politicians seemed to have made a deal with the devil to dispatch helpless citizens to their early graves. |
![]() Homeless and a mother at age 12. I do hope and pray life has something positive in store for her. Its difficult enough to be a single mom, much less a homeless one....and at age 12! Lord have mercy. |
spyder880:Thanks. |
spyder880:Can you tell me please, what rod will you use for the starter columns and ground floor columns? Y20 or Y25? What about the slabs (decking) reinforcements? Is Y12 suitable? |
blackberlin:Typical. Just say something different for once, and surprise us. Igbos make it in whatever part of the country they migrate to. They are the real definition of hustling spirits that knows no boundary. So, if you're talking about people who couldn't make it in Nigeria, yet hoping to make it in a smaller Biafra, you are actually referring to your lilly livered people who are afraid of standing on their own. People who live in mortal fear of their Fulani superiors and are content to subsist on their master's leftovers. As for your kind hearted concern over properties belonging to Igbos, well, thank you. Your fears and compassion is duely noted. But I must ask you, why do you bellyache over another mans property, built from his toil and sweat? When Pa Awo implemented the seizure of their assets and handed them £20 instead, did it prick your conscience? Did you bellyache over such injustice? Yes, they lost a lot, but it didn't put them down. You can't hold a good man down! In the face of all that they lost, they rose from the ashes, just like the fabled phoenix. They rose and rebuilt. Bitterness ought to hold them down, but they didn't let such negative emotion rule their life and limit how they can soar. If they lose all they have invested in outside the SE a second time, it still will not put them down. Life will surely go on. Finally, your people hardly invest outside your geographical zone as you said. I don't see how that should be a thing of pride. It still affirms their being called lilly livered. For that alone, don't dare make comparisons between these two tribes based on its propensity to take risks, to dare, to call anyone's bluff, to go out of your comfort zone, to explore, to confront and conquer, and to vanquish every limitation. You can't put a good man down! History has shown that countless times. There is nothing wrong with a man who decides to take his destiny in his own hands. Your people can learn and grow a set of balls and decide to forge their own destiny too. Your abusing another tribe who rebel against the status quo everyone agrees is unfair, yet can't man up to demand for yours isn't just hypocrisy, it is downright treachery. Are you guys born with such cowardly DNA, that the word Biafra makes u pee your pants? Hasn't it occurred to you that this same people you oppose are hoping the Yorubas will rise up and take charge of their own nation? Are you so blinded by fear to realize that the Yoruba nation holds the biggest potential to excel if the major tribes were to go their separate ways? |
![]() Mark 9:47-48 And if your eyes causes you to stumble, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, where the worms that eat them do not die, and the fire is not quenched For more food, read Revelations 20:10 and 15. ![]() You know, just like you, I wish there's nothing like an eternal fire that would torment evil people after this earthly journey. I mean, being Nigerians, we have suffered enough already, haven't we? ![]() I'm not here to argue with the OP. Just pointing out what the bible said concerning hell and its content. |
Braden9:Your heartbreak and demise is imminent. I mean, why such hate to a group or tribe who don't even know you exist? Talking about the SE being landlocked, do you know that so many countries across planet earth are actually landlocked, yet they survive and thrive. Nigeria has got so much resources, so much coastline, yet it grovels among its peers. What outstanding economic strides has it made with its access to the Atlantic ocean? You'd think that the federal road leading to Apapa and Tin Can ports would have been made into a 10 lane mega highway by now, seeing how strategic it is, but we all know the disgusting state of that road since the past decades. Will Nigerians ever see beyond ethnic sentiments? I mean, that you have a little education and yet choose to post such hate filled garbage here shows how little you have developed yourself in your beloved country. Your vision of 5 African nations isn't just ridiculous, it is the product of hallucination. |
Is there a single branch of diamond bank in the entire Mbaise? Thought you would have mentioned what part of Mbaise this is. Cool though. |
eezeribe:Can you be kind enough to elaborate on this, pls? We are here to glean wisdom from each others experiences. |
TheLogicalMind:Exactly! You'd have to be making crazy money to ever consider taking a loan from a Nigerian bank. Imagine taking a loan to buy a property, and the compounding interests on same loan happened to climb far above the value of the property within a few short years! I don't advise anyone to go this route! |
![]() Been wondering for a long time: is there a reason why Lagos adopted plot sizes to be 60ftX120ft, while most other states has 50ftX100ft as standard for plot size? Considering that Lagos is even the smallest state by land mass. I have also noted that most southwest states accept 60ftX120ft as standard plot size. Meanwhile, there are places in parts of the southeast and south-south where plot sizes are measured at 100ftX100ft. For real. I got plots from such areas. |
Ogalanyachieze: ![]() I don't know about that part about him regretting his action, but I have also noted that he might have reluctantly admitted to himself that there could be a certain merit to the Biafra agitators. I may be wrong, though. I mean, if you give a man a level playing field and he couldn't succeed, he has no choice than admit to himself that he wasn't good enough. On the other hand, when you deny a man that level field, and you use whatever resources at your disposal to deny him from creating his own field, then there's bound to be disputes and uproar. That's exactly what the present situation is. If the government will be bold enough to take that step and restructure the country back to the six geopolitical zones, the clamor about succession will die naturally. Restructuring the country is not an overnight task. There are so many intricacies involved. If the process were to begin today, it would still take years to iron out the finer points. But beginning is the first and important step. The creation of new states were mere destabilizing factors, and not really aimed at speedy developments. If anything, it merely created more avenues for recurrent expenditures to more state governments, more commissioners and other state governments parastatals. |
![]() Not a surprise. Its actually becoming a norm in the country where every institution has turned upside down. This is not just morally wrong, it is also illegal. But of course, we don't expect any repercussion on the part of the police. Like I said, every institution (including the judiciary the helpless man could have run to) is upside down. |
Following.... |
Diplomaticbeing:When I saw your comment, first thing I did was to search online for this syndrome. I must say the way the man's ailment was described is very similar to it. Pay no heed to those who mock you. They are all of the opinion that it is "jazz" at work. You do yourself a disservice by responding to them. Never bring yourself to that level. NL is filled with airheads and idle mischief makers. |
Diplomaticbeing:At least one person here has something reasonable to contribute. |
Customs officials have become more of a nuisance since Hamid the retired soldier has directed them to operate within the country's roads, as if they don't have enough to occupy them along the borders. Every institution in the country has lost its value. |
what's with y'all nd bashing? Can't u advise someone without insulting them? Then get the fvck out of here dude!No problem. Go snap a picture of your nekkid cousin and upload it online, then I can give you a sound advice afterwards. Until then, go suck ur own balls. |
FriendNG:Do you know what's funny? God forbid, but in the event that Mr president couldn't make it back to resume duty, a section of his cabinet will argue that the VP cannot take his place due to the wordings in this same letter. You should understand that Nigeria is such a complex entity, and certain ambiguities should be avoided, if the intent wasn't to create mischief in the first place. Bring two constitutional lawyers into a room and have them interpret a part of the constitution.....you are bound to get different views. |
Seedworld:Gdday, bro. I asked earlier if you have oil been seedlings. This is called "ugba" in Igbo. |
Well, they are all politicians, aren't they? They are in it for what they can get, not what they can give. Like the saying goes, success has many fathers, many friends. Once there is a whiff of failure, watch the people jump ship as fast as they can. |
eyeview:Well, in Nigeria, the abnormal has become the norm. Don't be surprised when you get pulled over by a naval officer at a road block, asking to see your insurance papers ![]() Naija: land of the weird and ridiculous. |
Pavore9:Trees! Seem like we forbid getting things properly done. See the forlorn and deserted look of the surroundings. Trees ought to have been planted as soon a, or even before the building foundation starts. |
@Seedworld Do you have hybrid oil bean tree seedlings? |
You can do your part by shoving this so called prophecy deep into where it emanated from: your ass ![]() |
Abagworo:And that superior happens to be who? You? Well, Mr asslicker, granted you are superior to me in one aspect: you know how to lick ass like nobody else. For that, I doff my hat for you. I see Rochas' feces all over your mouth from licking his ass. Keep at it. Meanwhile, I don't have to mention my LGA before you can dream up a road in it your master constructed. You claimed he built roads in all the LGAs, not just some of them. So, start mentioning the roads. If you couldn't, just own up right now that you have been posting a lot of bullish!t on behalf of your paymaster. |
lightblazingnow:When I got to that part in bold, I just shake my head. Another sheep. What do you even know about his personal life? Are you with him at all times? |
Abagworo:Glorified ass licker. I'm still waiting for you to mention the roads you claimed your lord and savior Rochas built in all the LGAs in Imo state. Keep denying you are not in his payroll. You must think you're talking to kindergartners. A good product sells itself. You can't force people in parts of Imo where Rochas doesn't even know exists to like or endorse him. Don't argue with me. I'm not up for that. Just list the roads your paymaster constructed in all d LGAs in Imo state. I'm still waiting. |
