There was no need for the deputy Governor to leave his office and start giving them a dressing down over whether they should be in charge of a road block or not.

He was a Director in the Military...so? Why didn't he contact their commanding officer.

The Army have said over the years that they would rather not be involved in this type of work, but when the government orders them to do the work in order to improve security, some people and even senior government officials who lack patience still go out to abuse them

In my experience, army road blocks tend to move faster than those manned by police. A lot of the delay that happen is usually caused by motorists who refuse to queue in single file.

I generally feel safer on roads where the army man road blocks.

As we know, people are gathering all the facts to test Tinubu's qualification in court.

These guys are stopping at nothing and they are petitioning INEC in the case in court to disqualify him.

They are gathering their pile of evidences.

Just a question if Tinubu is disqualified by INEC based on court judgement will Rotimi Amaechi who came second naturally run as party flag bearer or does it mean APC won't have a candidate for the election

Records are always there and facts never lie. Lekki free trade zone is becoming a new city employing hundreds of thousands.

The same people who are some if the greatest beneficiaries of Tinubu's vision are now his greatest critics. It was the same thing they did to Awolowo. These people came from the South East to enjoy Awolowo's free education policy in the early 80s but hated him so much.

I think the best thing is for Nigeria to adopt true federalism with a certain percentage of jobs reserved for people in that region. Lets see how some people will survive if they had to go back to their region.

Peter Obi during a radio show called Berekete in Abuja, said that when he was the governor of Anambra State, he was very close to the students as he prefers to get first hand information from the students and not from the teachers nor principals. He stated that all the Senior prefects of every secondary school in Anambra had his phone number.

I actually doubted this since no one who was a senior prefect then has come out to support that claim. But when I logged on to Twitter now and saw that #GiveUsPeterObi was trending and I opened the hashtag, what I first saw was a tweet from a former senior prefect in an Anambra secondary school when Peter was the governor.

He narrated how Peter Obi called him to find out if there was any problem in his school and that was how Peter rushed there.

Truly, this is the man with genuine intention to turn things around in this country.

One of the reasons I like him is that has never said he would go after corrupt people instead, he wants to block loopholes for corruption.

He stated that the way to turn things around is to turn Nigeria from consumption to production and invest greatly on education as it's the engine of development.
