My bs story....
I welcomed my rainbow baby on 9th Nov......

My LMP was DEC 1,n in Jan 15th I miscarried it.it was painful but thank God in Feb I was pregnant again with LMP of Feb 19th,which God saw me try till did Nov.

Back to d main gist ehh...
After few weeks of pregnancy ,I started experiencing all d sicknesses, morning sickness(MS) afternoon sickness (AS)evening Sickness (ES)lolz.no be small thing.loss of appetite, lost of weight, I come resemble number 1...
After d 1st trimester, the second trimester was heaven on earth. I became stronger than my enemies. I ate,drank wat I liked,the journey was smooth until 27-28th (7 months or so)week,wen I started having contraction for 1min in 10 minutes.it was not a small something.
That was around August/September I was not with Dh,I traveled to Lagos for my dad birthday.I called Dh (med Dr) and told him, he asked me to do some labs n scan which I did, and told him d result of d investigations, he also spoke to d scan guy.he sent me d names of drugs to buy which I did n took for 5days,but from the first day I took d drugs d contractions stopped. The pregnancy continued till d 9th months.on 8th Nov I dey jejely oooo pineapple start to dey hungry me,so I told Dh to buy for me wen coming back from work,e did,den I come sit down sliced d middle of d pineapple, DAT strong place den gave Mil,Dh,n my first child d main pineapple to eat while I took d middle, DAT looks like stick,DAT was around 5pm den 8pm contraction started small small.I come repack my hospital bag ooo,manage stay to 4:30am den hubby drove me to d hospital, wen we got there,I was checked ,I was already 4cm I was happy for my mind say at least before 11am I go soon born... For where!!! 8am I was 6cm, 12 noon I was 8cm, den d tin pause. It refused until about 3pm,where I don't reach heaven come back,d pains no be here.by 3pm I had d huge to push, den I was moved to the delivery room,just a push my princess arrived. Without any tear. Weight :3.3kg...

My mom is currently weaving my hair. When she's done I'll carry my baby's bag and start trekking to the hospital. The hospital is quite far, but I'll trek the distance. Something must come out of the exercise.

I agree with your quote up there, though there's no rest or you-time again when lo is here but it's good you have baby in your arms and start the proper vigilante than pain, vigilante, anxiety etc as you await baby's delivery.
Vigilante isnt easy sha, I actually squeezed out lil time (breastfeeding and typing) to log in to read your BA and VannywealthDesi's BA.

I hope to get notification of your birth alert, baby ngwan come, your mummys are very ready for you.

All our babies that are due, please forgive your mummies if they have offended you abeg. I know sometimes you want them to eat somethings but becos they dont want to add too much weight they avoid it. Please come out,your mummies have promised to give you thoses things and more. Ehen sabi mamas abeg i dont know if i should be worried cos see eh before this miracle preggy happen i no dey too smell things. I dey smell well before oooo but i think is after i removed my Dracula teeth 13 years ago nai the problem start. Sometimes if food dey born i no dey know na hubby be my nose.

I dont experience any morning sickness, na just small headache now and then but na this kantar thing wey dey alway stuck for my throat i no understand. I dont have flu ooo. How do i deal with this cos its annoying to wake up at 2am to find my throat stuff with it.

Abeg help me!!!

Thanks my dearest. As if you I have plans of what to eat when baby finally arrives I pray they show us mercy and start coming out mbok.
On the dry throat stuff, keep taking water consistently and orange as well. But don't go overboard with the orange. I usually limit my intake to one or 2 oranges a day.

I delivered on 17th of November. Baby girl. My princess is saying hi. Mum is fyn. Daddy is over rejoicing. Thank God for us.

You can mention it straight up, or pretend you're having contractions but are not sure if it's labour contractions. The doctor would likely want you to describe the feelings, then you can start lamenting on how tired you are of still being pregnant and wish you'd deliver right there and then. I believe he/she would want to check how things are progressing there.

This makes a lot of sense mama . Will have to try it. Thanks

Rest kwa....my dear enjoy your preggy journey oh since Friday I no touch my phone oh, no sleep through out the night cos of suck suck, my legs are swollen and my eyes itchy I can confirm that nursing a baby is the hardest of them all oh, I actually came to check if you've put to birth, I wish you safe and easy delivery in advance

Thanks for checking on me mama, but I am not even resting at the moment. Vjay pains, bombom bone pains, heaviness from carrying baby, some nights I don't get enough rest. I might as well start the vigilante already. Please kiss baby for me and tell baby to take am easy with the sucking so that mummy can rest small.

I registered for antenatal on Saturday. When i did scan at Union Diagnostic the scan shows no cyst, no fibriods etc. I went to. See the doctor with the result. She did her own physical examination na so she say why is your navel hard,that theres a mass there... Na so I reject am within me. Mass ke nai scan no see am. I went to pee cos my bladder was full. Came back, she said the same thing. Na so we go do another scan,she did it her self... I saw my baby and jumping around as little as he or she is. But she didn't see the so called mass on the pelvic scan. I just tire!!!!

Sabi mamas has it happened to anyone before. I dont just get what shes saying. This is the first time am using the hospital cos the hospital where i did fibroid surgery is damn expensive.... 570k for antenatal and delivery na so hubby face changed immediately.

I plan to register in a government clinic abeg to get second opinion cos me i no understand again.

Mama please register with govt hospital as backup u hear. Whose report will you believe? Scan or doctor's uncertainty? As long as scan says everything is alright please hold on to that report.
If it were a govt hospital you would have gotten a second opinion from other doctors. But I know you and baby are doing great. All the best!

My doctor has tried to do this membrane sweep for me twice now but as at Saturday my cervix was still very high and posterior, he couldn't even reach it. Have you checked your cervix for any effacement or dilation? If your cervix is favourable then a sweep can be done for you. That will definitely speed things up.

They haven't even checked me for once. Wondering what they are waiting for sef. All these govt docs. Anyway, let's see what happens at my next antenatal this Thursday.

Clenching your muscles makes it painful for you and the person doing the sweep.

Mama I hope I can relax o. I could still remember how my legs were shaking continuously when the nurse was cleaning me and pushing pad up my vjay after I delivered last year. She was like, "madam open your legs nah" and to be honest, I thought I had opened the legs to the point that I couldn't open it again. She ended up leaving me after trying so hard. But not without shoving as much pad as she could up there

But to be honest, what you feeling is exactly how I feel too. All these weeks of uncertainty, weekly hospital visits up and down since 27weeks holding strongly on faith. Right now I just want to carry my baby. I am almost 41weeks. Everyday I pray, I cry, I tell myself hold on, baby will come when it comes but to be honest it has not been easy. To the point DH said I should stop visiting this page cos of my Awwwwws when I see a BA followed by "baby see your mates o"
Hospitals here have their policy that they only induce 10days and above after EDD. I begged and begged. Kai...
I really want to hold my baby.

I say a resounding amen to your lovely prayer teamie. I can't imagine how you are holding up having reached close to 41 weeks when I'm going crazy here at 39 weeks 4 days. The Lord must be carrying you specially in His palms.

Teamie if you see the way I climbed staircase the other day (10 times equaling 400 steps) and afterwards took a very hot bath while concentrating on my tommy, you would think that baby will come that day
God have mercy on me but I will try to be patient. Thanks a lot for the advise.

I tell you cappo. Come Friday and baby is still inside, I will carry my bag to vigil and my prayer point will be "Lord as I'm here tonight, let my labour start"
That was the same thing that happened to a woman in my church whose labour started during vigil and had to be rushed to the hospital where she gave birth within 2 hours.
And my church is closer to UPTH so it's all good

This would be my first surviving baby. Believe me, no matter what, I'd prefer to have baby in my arms than be resting with baby still inside the womb.
