If Jack has any sense, he should ask Mark Zuckerberg to accompany him to Ask Rock where he will beg our darling daddy for forgiveness.

Most Nigerians have deactivated their Twitter accounts in solidarity with our darling daddy.
Jack must understand that Nigeria is the most populous black country on Earth and if all our citizens boycott Twitter, it will fold in milliseconds.

Maybe Twitter is upset that we refused to allow them set up their African Headquarters in Nigeria so the best way to revenge is to humiliate our darling daddy.

These stories sprung up because of the composition of the 'foot soldier' cadre of the Nigerian army then who were mostly made up of minority tribes in the north or so to say middlebelt. The defeat of Uthman Dan Fodio by Tiv warriors which ended the jihadist match to the Eastern region and planned dipping of Koran in the Atlantic Ocean still dey pain Fulanis.

To conquer the buffer zone between the East and North hatred was created in the hearts of Tivs against their Igbo neighbours by the Fulanis pretending to love Tivs by giving them some positions in the then northern Govt of Sardauna and when Sardauna was killed by Coupists wrongly termed as 'Igbo coup', Tiv mobs killed thousands of Igbos escaping from the far North in 1966 to take revenge for the Fulanis and formed the bulk of the foot soldiers that fought the civil war.
Now it's clear that Tivs have never been forgiven for ending the jihad and preventing Islam from entering the Eastern region and having any roots along the Atlantic areas of Nigeria.

A lie when told so many times becomes the truth, can your Father be kind to share where in Benue Igbos were slaughtered on their way to the east during the civil war?

Biafra waged a war against Nigeria (Benue being part of Nigeria) and all sides suffered unimaginable atrocities, I have attached a journal from Egodi Uchendu (an Igbo by the way) wherein atrocities by Igbos against the Tiv, Idomas and Igalas (all of the then Benue) where mentioned.

Those from Benue did no more to the Igbos than the igbos did to them, so quit the victim mentality it was a time of war!!

When Sardauna was killed by Coupists in 1966, Tivs were so bitter with Igbos because they thought Sardauna was their brother having offered them some positions in his northern Nigeria Govt. Many Igbos who had escaped slaughter in the far north were waylaid and slaughtered in their thousands by Tiv mobs who blocked the roads to take revenge on behalf of the 'wronged' Fulanis. Meanwhile, Fulanis derogatorily call Tiv people 'Munchi'.

When the civil war broke out, the bulk of the foot soldiers on the Nigerian side came mostly from the old Benue/ Plateau axis while the Fulanis controlled the Officer cadre led by the genocidal Murtala Mohammed and also had officers like Buhari. They were protected by not being deployed to very risky fronts.

One thing the Tivs couldn't reckon with is that the Fulanis are still angry at Tivs for ending their jihadist match to the South and the Fulanis would later out manoeuvre them into seeing their Eastern neighbours as enemies (that's political sagacity by the Fulanis)

It's amazing that the Tivs have now become endangered species in the hands of the same Fulanis they died defending, they didn't see what those Biafrans saw in 1966.
Late Major Gideon Orkar (a Tiv) tried to punish the Fulanis for their deception by excising them from Nigeria in his coup broadcast but that was putting the cart before the horse which was a blunder, the coup failed after a counter resistance led by Late Col. U.K. Bello (a Fulani who also lost his life in the ensuing fire fight) he was ADC to Gen. IBB, Major Orkar with 88 other soldiers (mostly southern and middle belt) were summarily executed by General Ibrahim Babangida.

Gov Ortom has ordered every Tiv to arm themselves because he thinks the jihadist war they stopped Uthman Dan Fodio has resumed again.
Tivland in essence may have stopped the spread of Islam to Igboland through jihad by serving as a buffer zone via their defeat of the Fulani jihadist Army.

What I wrote here is part of the reasons History was expunged from our school curriculum.
