Its good to see UBA giving us heavy loot as interim

However I just thought to share my market focus and the rationale behind it

I'm looking and buying into the listed telecom companies (MTN and airtel though more of MTN) and Nestle....
I'm buying these companies hand over fist because I have taken a cursory look at their financials

The Cashflow and operational competences of these companies are still stellar enough and not sub par,

Save for the fx situation that led to those "heavy recorded" losses
I strongly believe that on a purely operational level, there is still value at play in these companies

Now this is not financial advise
just thought to share
and would welcome thoughts as well....

We watch how the market reacts. The result is not as good as last year. Lower PAT and lower eps compared to last year.
This is a "right issue" influenced i terim dividend.

I will still take GTCO and Zenith over UBA.

Fidelity Bank movement will encourage more persons to buy access bank shares.

Access Bank is a Tier 1 and grossly undervalued at the moment. The spinoff from Fidelity and Wema bank will push access bank upward a bit

Oga, if you won't let the poor set your prices as a business person, then don't force it on the power supply sector.

I'm not APC or PDP, in fact I'm sleeping in my house like this as people are going out to vote, the honest thing is that it will be very hard for PDP to win, the Block vote that is coming for APC in Edo North will be too much, and please note that it's not rigging at all, these people loves Oshiomole too much, like it's just too much.

Sentiment favors a NASCON rally this week due to the Dangote refinery success. NASCON is Dangote third most important company after Dangote Cement.

Dangote intend merging the Dangote Sugar and Dangote Rice with NASCON though the mergers failed.

NASCON will rally at least 25% this week due to positive market sentiments and expectations for the Dangote Group.

Judging by the recent statements from IPMAN and NNPC, its obvious that Dangote is playing an Hanky-Panky game of setting everybody up against each other, while using the emotional blackmailing tactics to win the masses to his side and still use their sympathy to fix PMS at a high price
Dangote has reached out to everyone one, yet he still hasnt make his price known during the process

Couldn't have been better said. You won't even be surprised to discover that despite SEPLAT's very low outstanding 583 million shares, its free-float might be about the minimum 20% allowed therefore making the tradeable shares in the neighborhood of just 117m. Then one can now understand better how bad the 100K units difficulty is for the stock.
My prayers are with those in SEPLAT and similar stocks.

There was no sarcasm intended in my post; I genuinely aimed to provide constructive feedback, but if that's the way you viewed it, let's leave it like that.
