RodgersAkpafu: Hello everyone Its good to see UBA giving us heavy loot as interim
However I just thought to share my market focus and the rationale behind it
I'm looking and buying into the listed telecom companies (MTN and airtel though more of MTN) and Nestle.... I'm buying these companies hand over fist because I have taken a cursory look at their financials
The Cashflow and operational competences of these companies are still stellar enough and not sub par,
Save for the fx situation that led to those "heavy recorded" losses I strongly believe that on a purely operational level, there is still value at play in these companies
Now this is not financial advise just thought to share and would welcome thoughts as well....
Selah I am loading only Airtel... May likely return back to profitability this FY... Not a fan of MTN & Nestle... Make dem try resolve their FX troubles... |

Our budget is 18 billion dollars.
If we follow your way, we may get good power supply, but at the expense of a hefty debt which would eat our country alive...and all in it.
Oga, if you won't let the poor set your prices as a business person, then don't force it on the power supply sector.
Either we pay full market price, or we stop grumbling and enjoy the rubbish we acutally pay for. How much is $10 billion dollars ? Buhari spent $7.5 billion dollars on transmission line only ... What of the $2.3 billion dollars failed Siemen deal...? Now combine what FG spent during Obasanjo..GEJ.. Buhari regime Thats a period of 2 decades...20 yrs... It shows the problem is not subsidy ! |

DevilsEqual:

Those with null Knowledge about everything would attack this Expert and tell us how the FG is tryna sabotage Dangote, but the truth is...
Judging by the recent statements from IPMAN and NNPC, its obvious that Dangote is playing an Hanky-Panky game of setting everybody up against each other, while using the emotional blackmailing tactics to win the masses to his side and still use their sympathy to fix PMS at a high price Dangote has reached out to everyone one, yet he still hasnt make his price known during the process Sincerely .. Dangote is too big to do hanky panky ! He has no option ... He has to let FG and NNPC cabals play their tune... So he will know how to dance... Cabals that made sure four refineries in Naija did not work.. after spending billion of dollars.... Them fit make sure Dangote Refinery get the same problem..... Dangote is not part of Tinubu boyz and his refinery is a bad omen for the NNPC cabals Its not easy ..I wish well... |
