I'm planning to apply for a visitors visa to Canada, but I need to get some clarifications. Please I would like to have answers to the following questions:

1. How many months bank statements is required for this and what is the advised closing balance for the account?

2. I own a registered business for over 10yrs what are the documents to include from my business.

3. I don't have any close relatives in Canada. Do I have a chance of getting approval? Please note that I do not have any travel history as well. What can be the best way to approach this?

4. How long might the process take?

Please did anyone get an error message when trying to submit his/her application in the IRCC new portal?
I have not been able to do since yesterday night. The error was "No Group Data Detected".

People that saw him yesterday confirmed this is how he looks like now and with no doubt it was him. I didn't see him though.

Did you see him at anytime? Do you have the account number you sent money to? I'm trying to see if his account can be blocked or something.

Did you get this guy? He came to my neighbourhood today to scam an old man running POS. I got to hear about this after he had gone.

I tried to run a background check on him and this is what I found

He uses a Google business with a name
LiFav Group of Companies Nigeria
Peninsula Resort Way, Aja 105102, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria
Phone number: +234 703 908 9349

This is how he looks like in the pictures below from those that saw him.

I think we can arrange this guy so that he can pay for all his deeds. I saw on Facebook that he has defrauded others in the past too.

Transfer the money into an account in a commercial bank and back up the lump sum with the microfinance bank account statement and provide valid explanations to back up everything. Then you are good.

This is my thought and may be incorrect.

I actually met an agent with a track record (before I submitted my application), who told me she'll get me a sponsor. I really don't know how she'll do all the documentations but I have proofs and evidences of her track record. I decided to handle the application myself when I saw someone I know who did his own himself.

Right now, I'm thinking of meeting her to handle the reapplication. Hopefully, God can use her to be successful.

Also you will have to be partially sponsored since you are working. You can't ne fully sponsored

No. I didn't get any medical update even up till now. Does that mean they didn't check the medical or something? Because I submitted an upfront medical report and I called IOM which they confirmed that the report has been sent since 1st of April.

Have you seen any response from them as regards your application result?

From my research so far, I think your earning does not balance up with the amount in your account and to that effect, you will need to provide more information or evidence on how you've worked or done to earn that. If you sold properties, show them so the know you are transparent.

Thanks alot Accessed for your comforting message. I think just like you explained, I didn't do enough justice to some of those things you highlighted.

You're right with the fact that having 200k as my salary as compared with the closing balance of 72M may not have been properly explained. I had some money been deposited at intervals which I didn't explain the source at all (2M sometimes or less).

I explained in my SOP about the lump sum deposited from the sale of my property with with a receipt and a deed of assignment. And I also presented some receipts from about 3 other lands I have.

But my question is this. Can I use a sponsor to reapply and not self sponsored again? Will it not conflict with the first application? Please how do I get the GCMS notes? What's the cost?
Like how long does it take to get a response to my reapplication? My first application took exactly a month. (I submitted on the 22nd of May and the refusal came 20th of June)

Sorry for the refusal! However, you have not really shared enough information to enable people offer the help you will need. All i can say for now is that you request for your GCMS notes immediately, so you can frontally address the issues in your reapplication. Thankfully, on the average, reapplications get faster approvals, so you may still be in time to make the resumption date.

But on the surface, having a monthly income of N200K and posting a balance of N72M will require enough documentation to fly. How long have you been working and earning that? How much was the sold property? Did you tidy up documentation for the property? Did you have lumpsums in the accounts (besides the property sales) that were not properly explained? What was the opening balance for the duration you presented to IRCC? Were these issues clearly explained in your SOP? All these information make or mar the "POF issues" we often see.

Just arrange for the GCMS notes immediately so that you don't refire blank.

Also, I found out that there was a mistake in the payslips I submitted. I submitted a certain month twice. How can I rectify this?

Some ppl have used either the old or new portal and have been successful with their permits. If you have bulky stuffs to upload then use the old portal.

Nothing is wrong with your application or GCKey website.

I had the same issue. This is what I did. go to pdffiller dot com, register for their 30 days basic package free trial with dollar virtual card, search for the form name you want to fill, eg imm1294...... fill and download. If you don't register, you will only be able to fill any form, but impossible do download.

You can apply without paying the balance

They will not reject your application if you apply before it is due. Although it rarely happens, IRCC can request the receipt when it is due.

How about if visa is granted but it's after the due date and I have not still not paid because I'm not 100% sure
if visa will be granted. Will the school not cancel my admission? Will I not be denied entry at POE? Can I write to the school for more time?
