All these complains about Nigerians in diaspora discouraging others from migrating to their country of residence is a load of horse shitNigerians naturally like hearing only the good side of japa and not the challenges that comes with it Its better to be aware of the challenges you might encounter in the country you intend to migrate to and equip yourself on how to tackle them than being taken unawares when you get there You people should stop coming here to lament They are not your village people Person wey wan travel go still travel irrespective of the challenges |

Nobleou: I understand you but your view of formal issues and understand of life are shallow. You like Nigeria being corrupt...? Answer me Mind you if Nigeria doesn't have such money to pay Academic Union the government wouldn't ve promised that in the first place. The agreement was part of Yaradua's agenda, he knew fully well that Nigeria has money that can improve the learning environment but unfortunately he died. I'm not a lecturer neither a civil servant but a student. Truth be told, our government after Yaradua's is very corrupt especially this present administration. Guy chill u kw no wetin d happen, na beta Nigeria we d fight for..... My question is why didn't Jonathan fulfill the 2009 agreement before he left office even when the economy was far better Mind you he was an academician and an ASUU member before he joined politics Even if prof Osodeke becomes GCFR today, he won't be able to meet all of ASUU demand...he will just promise them like the others before him I am supporting neither FG nor ASUU I only support the interest of the students They have lost 2 academic sessions in 3years They deserve better |

collins07: You have time telling d students that government have failed in their duty. they're just being emotional without being logical, they don't know what is coming for them if ASUU should allow fg to go ahead with deregulation of university education. Fg is saying they can't fix d infrastructure and taking care of ASUU without increment of school to 750k.ASUU is saying no cuz d children of d poor wouldn't have access to education but they are here supporting d fg. They are shouting fg should not pay their outstanding salaries cuz of no work no pay and I laugh lol.are u guys saying that ASUU should omit what that supposed to have taught u in last two semesters as well cuz fg is not going to pay them? Are u guys not aware that ASUU must cover d syllabus whenever they resume and they should teach u for free since u are saying fg should not pay them, forgetting they must start from where they stopped?. I think Assu should jump those semesters u guys have missed without impacting d needed knowledge since they don't deserve salary to cover d missed classes. Tell your ASUU to take FG to court whenever they renege on their signed agreement and stop victimizing innocent students with their incessant strike Thats why we have Industrial court They are punishing the people they claim to be fighting for...what an irony I want Buhari to give them a taste of their medicine.....NO WORK NO PAY Their annual paid vacation must stop If the university system want to collapse....let it collapse Las las everybody go learn work Nonsense |

Nobleou: Na mumu u be..... Why is the FG always defaulting the agreement btw her & ASUU? They always take home bogus salary and expect lecturers to work in poor conditions. If Nigeria is a sane country & students understand what is happening, they should also join ASUU to protest against FG Only a foolish student will join ASUU to protest against FG An evil and greedy union that have wasted 8 months of their life Next week will be a decisive week Its either they comply or go home with their sack letters Its high time students and their parents stop sympathizing with the wicked union called ASUU The useless people supporting ASUU here to continue their evil strike don't have loved ones in school that is why they talk like people with empty skull Mad People Everywhere |

Voldoz: Good Day guys
We all heard the judgement of the Appeal Court yesterday and from the looks of it her verdict is final in this particular matter so no Supreme court and I guess FG played a fast one on ASUU.
So this brings me to this Falana should have known the court weren't gonna judge this in ASUU's favour and also he should have told ASUU disobeying the first order from NIC will have consequences but still he jarred them on.
I think ASUU should just calm down and negotiate this matter in peace instead of court here and there cause from the look of things ASUU faulted and FG used those loop holes against them.
Let's be sincere pride is one thing holding ASUU down, we all knows they deserved better from FG but they too should know the Buhari tenure is coming to an end very soon like he said he doesn't want to sign agreement he can't implement and for me it's reasonable few months from now Buhari is off and the next president might fault that agreement if he signed and then the strike continues, so why not wait till the new president comes and then go on a reasonable negotiation with him.
The case is not won by either ASUU or FG yet the court just wants the students to return to class since they are the most affected here.
It's my own opinion though I might be wrong in some places am opened to learning and corrections. I like what Buhari said that he can't sign what he can't implement because the bogus 2009 agreement the previous administration signed but didn't implement completely has been the cause of all this incessant strikes Why sign what you know you can't implement |

collins07: I went through d post on here and I discovered that majority of d post doesn't even know or understand what's going on with ASUU and fg. Its a pity that majority of our student doesn't read or care to get into d depth of d situation but, they are just shouting and insulting ASUU cuz of fg blackmails. ASUU is complaining about peculiarity in d university system and payment with Ippis gateway.fg asked Nitda to put Utas into integrity test, they did and scored Utas 90%,non academics payment system came 2nd and Ippis came third. For fg to implement Utas became problem meanwhile Ippis has been Indicted of corruption but fg refused to stop using it.Ippis is being managed by consultancy firm with fg paying 3billion for their service monthly. Majority of us know about d fraud that's is going on with Ippis but why did fg refused to discard it and start using another credible payment gateway for workers?cuz some people are making billions through Ippis. ASUU raised a point that Ippis didn't captured their allowances but fg promised to implement that into Ippis but failed to do that for over 7months and keep asking Assu to resume work. ASUU talk about visiting lecturer and professor to another school and how they could get their allowances if they keys into Ippis fg failed to addressed that. They said they lack d number of lecturer and professor to handle all d courses in every Uni hence needs for visiting lecturer and prof from another uni with allowance being paid for such service which Ippis didn't covered. To those of u insulting ASUU,hope u listened to Ngige on Channels Friday night saying ASUU refused increment of school fees?he said either ASUU like it or not fg would fully deregulate university education. ASUU said on Jay FM that fg want to hands off funding universities and asked d school fees to be increased to 750k which ASUU refused that doing so would not afford d children of d poor to get education. Nigerians are tired of ASUU sob story The intellectual urchins will always look for excuse to go on strike This they have been doing for 40yrs+ They are as greedy as the politicans they criticize They are no different from FG If they are tired of teaching, they are free to resign Its not by force |

mrrandomguy: What kind of judgement is this?
1. Industrial court orders ASUU to resume. 2. ASUU appeals the order of industrial court. 3. Appeal court orders ASUU to comply with industrial court rulling before it can hear ASUU's appeal against the industrial court rulling.
There is a political decision against ASUU and the Nigerian masses by the rulling elites whose children don't school in Nigeria. They will not stop until the education system is totally destroyed like the health sector. Unfortunately many Nigerians are hailing the government. Nobody gives a damn about your opinion The interest of students comes first above all The half-baked degree they are receiving is better than none Since ASUU have been striking more than thunder under PMB has it changed anything Their unpaid vacation is over |

Nobody will accuse them of any breach or contempt of the law I laugh in Swahili Once their appeal is granted, they can't go on strike again as long as their case with FG is still in court So this your 2 days tactics is a load of horse shit |

ASUU doesn't have a say in CONUA.
Watch how FG will instruct varsities to reopen and CONUA will go back to work.
