That clip was a night club, no pastor, no sound, nothing. Why are people against sanity these days. Posting trash to mislead people.

Christians should all have overcoming sin as one of our goals. Although we will never be perfectly victorious over sin in this life (1 John 1:, we must recognize that overcoming sin is part of the battle which is the Christian life. God has not left us to battle sin on our own, however. He has given us clear instructions and several resources to aid in the struggle.

1. The first resource, and the most important, is the presence of the Holy Spirit in our hearts, without whom victory over sin is impossible. Not only must we have the presence of the Spirit, but we must also be "filled" with the Spirit in order to overcome sin (Ephesians 5:18-21). We should be so completely yielded to the Holy Spirit that He can possess us fully and, in that sense, fill us. Romans 8:9 and Ephesians 1:13-14 state that He dwells within every believer, but He can be grieved (Ephesians 4:30), and His activity within us can be quenched (1 Thessalonians 5:19). When we allow this to happen, we do not experience the fullness of the Spirit's working and His power in and through us. Therefore, the presence and the filling of the Holy Spirit are essential to overcoming sin.

2. Another resource God has given to us to overcome sin and live for Him is the Word of God, which is sufficient to equip us for every good work and to make us "complete" (2 Timothy 3:16-17). If it is able to make us complete, that would include the power to have victory over sin. Hebrews 4:12 tells us that the Word of God is living and powerful, able to penetrate straight to our hearts to root out and overcome the deepest sins of heart and attitude. Psalm 119:9 (NIV) refers to the power of the Word: "How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word." Joshua 1:8further exhorts "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."

The Bible will help us to overcome sin, but not if it sits on the shelf until Sunday. We are to memorize it, meditate on it, or apply it to our lives. When it comes to the Word of God, we can't simply take in just enough to keep us alive spiritually. We must ingest enough of it to be healthy, thriving Christians, which involves feeding on it and meditating on its truths enough to derive its spiritual nutrition. The Bible is an essential and major part of the armor that God gives us to fight our spiritual battles (Ephesians 6:12-18). Without it, we have no hope of overcoming sin.

3. Prayer is the third crucial resource in our battle against sin. If Jesus had to pray diligently to prepare for the ordeal He was about to suffer, how much more do we who are weak and sinful have to rely on prayer to overcome temptation? In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus exhorted the disciples to "Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation" (Matthew 26:41). When they failed to heed His warning, they fell into the sin of fear and unbelief (Mark 14:50). God has given us wonderful promises concerning prayer (Matthew 7:7-11; Luke 18:1-8; John 6:23-27; 1 John 5:14-15), and Paul includes prayer in his passage on preparing for spiritual battle (Ephesians 6:18). Prayer acknowledges that we recognize our own limitations and God's inexhaustible power and it allows us to tap into that power as we "approach God's throne of grace with confidence" (Hebrews 4:16 NIV) with our petitions and supplications.

4. A fourth resource in our war to conquer sin is the fellowship of other believers, particularly in the local church. Overcoming sin with the help and encouragement of others in love and good works (Hebrews 10:24) is much easier than going at it alone. James tells us to confess our faults to one another (James 5:16) and pray for one another because just as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another (Proverbs 27:17). There is strength and comfort to be found among a body of believers whose hearts are inclined toward God and one another (Ecclesiastes 4:11-12).
Accountability partners who can come alongside a struggling brother and render help in overcoming stubborn sins is another resource provided by the local church. Temptation is part of the Christian life (1 Corinthians 10:13), but God has promised not to test us beyond our ability to bear it and having an accountability partner or an accountability group can help us to overcome even the most stubborn of sins.

Sometimes victory over sin comes quickly; other times, victory comes more slowly. God has not left us helpless in our battle against sin. He has promised that as we make use of His resources, He will progressively bring about change in our lives. We can persevere in our efforts to overcome sin because we know that "The LORD is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does" (Psalm 145:13b NIV).

God bless You.

If you understood that the concept of time is just an illusion, you won't talk about someone "creating" time.

I never asked if you were born into it. However it found you, you've been successfully indoctrinated and are currently living in delusion.

You can as well say space is an illusion, we live in these dimensions mr.

Salvation is not indoctrination, salvation is what you need. Why not humble yourself before God and ask Him to still your anxious heart towards rebellion.

Chizzled06:
Who created him?

Yeah "Everything that exists must have a creator", may not apply to the One who created time. You should focus more on probing your existence first. If you wanna believe that from nothing came everything, you can go ahead, its called freewill, You make your choice.

Chizzled06:
It's quite reasonable to conceive a benevolent creator at the root of the start of the universe, but your current ideas of the origin of mankind and what happens after death are ancient caucasian folklore. You are living someone else's fantasy.

I was not born into this "someone else's fantasy". But by grace, ever since i became a child of the living God, my life has shapened for the better. You should also taste and see that God is good.

Chizzled06:
"Conscience" or Intelligence is a relatively late arrival in the evolution of mankind.

Your 'soul', 'mind' and consciousness are all functions of one thing- your brain. Once all electrical activity ceases in your brain, that's it. Why do you think people with head trauma/ neurological or 'brain damage' injuries or illnesses seem 'souless'?

The continuous evolution of the human brain led to a sense of consciousness and awareness, followed by several relatively uniformed guesses about where we're from and what happens after death. One of which you currently believe in.

Hmmnn, he evolved. And the early apes which he evolved from came from nothing or an explosion. Okay.

Excellent response winner01. @Chizzled06 : Its either A or B - Heaven or Hell .

That awareness of time would be taken from us . We wont get bored or fed up ( human feature ) , its gona go on and on and on - a beautiful experience

Thanks bro, We shall be fit to enter in Jesus Name, Amen.

You didn't exist for billions of years before you were born, you will cease to exist for billions of years after you die.

Enjoy your life while it lasts.

If anything, i think im enjoying my life to the fullest.

The iphone6 was not in existence few years ago and will cease to exist in some years time. i believe it was created for a reason, and i believe it didnt jumpout of nothing or an explosion. And that applies to all man made objects.

Lol, I believe God "knew you before you were born". I believe He put conscience in man. I believe you will exist after your physical death. You can however choose for yourself the kind of life you want.

Lmao. nice pics

Proverbs 20:17, "Bread gained by deceit is sweet to a man, But afterward his mouth will be filled with gravel"

Satan will give you sinful pleasures, benefits and gains but to destroy you at the end. He deceives people with the stuffs of this world and many are fools to fall in his traps. Satan has everything in this world to entice people. "Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.”

Simple But Stupid
Satan will like to feed your body in order to get your soul lost forever. Your physical body is like a shadow that passes away, but your real person and value is your soul. When you care for your body than your soul, it shows you are spiritually stupid.
Satan entices you through your craving pleasures and desires, and you trade your soul with him. Your love of money, ego, popularity, power, possessions and profits are the means by which Satan uses to entice you into sinful gains, lies, cheating, stealing, fraudulent activities, changing figures and papers; into sex, drink, smoking, and other ungodly habits of bitterness, malice, evil speaking, anger, etc. These are the seeds of destruction Satan may be feeding you with for eternal doom just as turkeys are fed for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Is it not because of all these earthly stuffs which Satan uses to attract you that has made you refused to totally surrender your life to Jesus until now? Those things are making you to delay, postpone your salvation, or to go up and down in your commitment to Jesus? Because you don't want to let go, that is the reason you are still hiding your sins, covering up, refusing to do restitution and to ignore call to holiness and righteousness. Satan can feed you with the pleasures, gains and benefits of sins for 100 years on earth in order to attract you to hell fire where 100 millions of years are just the beginning of sorrow. He will keep enticing you with everything of this world till the point of no return. "Immediately he went after her, as an ox goes to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks, till an arrow struck his liver. As a bird hastens to the snare, he did not know it would cost his life." Proverbs 7:22,23.

Manipulation, Not Miracles
Because you are experiencing blessings and beautiful things in your life does not mean everything is fine with you or God is happy with you. Satan is just using those earthly stuffs to blindfold you so that you will feel relaxed as if nothing is wrong, until no second chance. Satan is also using the modern and motivated pastors to lure many into eternal doom with their holiness-free messages. Those testimonies, prophetic blessings and prosperity you see in those churches are satanic manipulations to keep people relax in their sins as if they are in tune with God until they are turned to the left destiny. Luke 7:22. Your Christian life without victory over sin is a defeated life under Satan. Your Christian faith with hidden sins and unsettled restitution is satanic manipulation to keep you seating on a time bomb.

Run Now Or Remain Lost!!!
Destruction is at hand, the satanic bombs in your life are set to blow, and this world is destined for destruction. Here is a second chance for the salvation of your soul, for you to rededicate your life to Jesus NOW, or you may never have a seconds for second chance. Don't ignore, don't postpone, and hardening your heart at this time is more dangerous than danger. He who is often rebuked, and hardens his neck, will suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. Proverbs 29:1
All you need now is to surrender your total life to Jesus, to rededicate your life to Jesus in holiness and righteousness. God does not accept 99.9% but your 100% for total victory over sin and Satan. Will you be wise? Then repent, confess your sins and ask Him to forgive you, cleanse and save you. And start a new life in Jesus.

God bless you.

Your contribution is important and it may save many lives. Please what Religion did Jesus Christ actually practiced during his life time?

Christ came to abolish religion and show us the Truth, thats why the religious leaders of His time were constantly against Him.
Christ came to show us the way (john 14:16)
He came to build a church different from what the world has ever known (matt 16:18-19)
The followers of Christ in the Bible were called christians.
No religion saves, only God does and thats exactly what Jesus came to show us;
I am come that you might have life, and that you might have it more abundantly.- Jesus Christ

God bless you

Truth is always bitter.

Why are they always attacking me on Nairaland? Well, it is because of the truth that am professing.

They attack you as atheists and god-haters, not as scientists.
The fact that they google for scientific facts to tackle you dosent make them scientists.
They also quote scriptures, does that make them christians?
